When he took off his mask and I had to fight him a second time, I legit thought he was gonna reveal that he was not fat but had a bunch of weights under his robes for training and he was gonna disrobe to fight me a third time as a skinny but superfast Baras. Like in animes.

+Andrew Thomas So glad I did this when the strength stat was still a thing a couple of years back. They either need to bring back those basic stats of strength/willpower. I know some seemed to think it was confusing but that is just stupid, it's not that hard to work out. The other option is just in class areas they have your stats at what your maximum is no matter what planet your on. I get they lowered it down so people didn't get trolled everywhere they went by higher leveled fellows but still.

It's pathetic not because of the levelling but because you're with companion healer against opponent without healer. Play without companion and rely on your abilities only - then you will proove you're a true Emperor's Wrath :).
@@Simgr101 they did it so you’ll be able to get gear that is usable and now something that works for a different class, or placed in a situation where you have to (try) convincing a loot ninja to give you gear that you wanted without having them extorting you for credits.
in 2012 it took nearly 10 minutes or more minutes to defeat the final class boss in 2015 it only takes a minute or two minutes defeat the final class boss
Man, they really nerfed this guy. I remember solo'ing this fight about a week after launch, and Jesus; I had to dance around the room, using everything at my disposal to stay alive.
They nerfed every main story boss. I remember those times too lol, Darth Zash was so hard to win against, I loved it like that, every fight was a real challanenge. Then they made your companions OP AND nerfed all the main story bosses. Really took all the fun out of the game for me.

@@shady0216 To each their own. For me not having a tough fight when one is expected breaks immersion. For example, nowadays a Jedi guardian can 0 dif the emperor in their main story. It also makes your accomplishments feel more hollow, I remember I felt so good when I first beat the inquisitor companion on korriban, and it felt like I earned him as a companion. After their changes, I don’t get that feeling anymore since I can sleepwalk through the fight. When there are no stakes it’s hard to take things seriously. Idk, just my opinion, I’m sure others view video games differently.
@@shady0216 Also, people who wanted to make the main story easy at the expense of immersion, could just get another person to go help them with their quest in the past. On our side of things, even if we dismiss our companion we can still sleepwalk through the fight, that's how easy it has become. The only way to actually make it challenging would be to remove/downgrade all your gear, which again, breaks immersion. (Why in the world would you remove all your good gear before fighting a powerful dark lord?) lol
@@zach3924 Yeah I was agreeing with this to at first but I think its overkill to make the fight insanely difficult. Also makes more sense for the fight to be easy given you are the main hero and the whole point is that you were supposed to be much stronger than baras from the beginning.
I do so love the Sith Juggernaut class! Especially the Immortal Path! Nothing better than jumping into battle and dishing out the punishment that your enemy brings to you, as well as withstanding it all.
I remember playing and reaching this point and I just assumed that since he was the last boss he might be so high leveled so I spent 2 months leveling up and finishing story arcs of different planets before returning and when I returned he was LEVEL 10??? LEVEL F*CKING 10???!!! so yeah I crushed him like a bug

Personally I liked how easy it was to kill bares it made getting through the Scene fun and I just got to absolutely destroy him some much enjoined revenge after a vary long time trying to get there

Interesting is, that during this fight, in the council is present Darth Thanaton. I wonder if he was nervous during the fight of Warrior and Baras, because he knew that after duel, he must quickly persuade the council to his side against Inquisitor who went after him. Im curios. Why dont Thanaton here sided with Baras against Warrior, or support him? After they sucesfully killed the Warrior, the Baras as the declared "Voice of The Emperor" could sided with Thanaton and mobilize the council against Inquisitor. Inq with his/her ghost is powerful, but I dont think it would be enough agains whole council. If only Baras and Thanaton supported each other against their fight with Warrior and Inquisitor.
Especially at the end when he begged for help from the Dark Council. That was just sad to watch. As if a Sith would ever save the loser of a fair duel.

Get some gear for Quinn and try again if you really can't do it. He should keep you up with his heals.
