Hi, I've been using an adjustable gripper that I got yesterday and the I've been experiencing this thing where If i decrease the tension down to the lowest or a little higher than the lowest, the gripper's front handle gets quite wobbly. Any ideas on how to fix?
Hello and greetings. Unfortunately that's the way it is. There is an effective range for the spring and the mechanism. Below that range on the lower tension the spring wouldn't have enough length to take up the slack. Mine is the same way and I guess they're all the same way. You really can't do anything about it. I have a problem on mine Hand Grip, is the one from 5kg up to 60kg. The issue is that the counter has stop counting, or better say when i full close it, the button get pressed but the number on the counter doesn't go up. How can i fix this?

I have a boldfit hand gripper but when I turn the knob the spring didn't move it just stuck at one place but the gripper get tight but the spring didn't move, is this a feature of the gripper or its broken ???
Hello and thank you for watching my videos and for your comments. If your hand grip exerciser has a dialer on it to adjust the tension then it has to work. Check and see if you have it set to the Xtreme highest or the Xtreme lowest tension. That's the only two positions. It could get stuck on. You will have to use a little bit of force the free the dialer. If it's stuck on the highest tension then turn it counterclockwise. If it's stuck on the lowest tension then turn it clockwise. You might want to use something like a Channellock pair of pliers to grip the dialer but don't use too much force are you might Crush it. And one of my videos I demonstrate how the dialer get stuck and what to do when that happens. Thank you very much and have a great day.

For you to determine if that's the case you will have to pay close attention to when you're turning the dialer to see if it's just the dialer turning and not the long screw. If that's the case, then you might have to use some super glue where the long screw goes into the dialer. This is just what I'm guessing. Check it out and let me know what you come up with

Brother I bought a handgripper and it was pretty expensive it was 4000pkr and I adjusted it to the max level to see how difficult it is to do one rep but after I did it it isn’t coming back it is stucked on the max level but is working properly please suggest me a way to fix this.

Anyhow I'll try to help you what's your problem. If you look at the link to the video above I explained after about five minutes into the video why you are experiencing that problem with the dialer getting stuck. To get it unstuck right now you'll have to use a very wide grip pair of pliers or if you have channel lock pliers. Wrap the dialer with some rubber tubing or cloth to prevent it from getting damaged. Then grip it with just enough pressure with the pliers and turn it counterclockwise to break it free. After that whenever you use your hand grip exerciser if you turn it to the highest tension before you start to squeeze it turn it back half a turn from Maximum tension. This will prevent it from getting stuck. The same thing goes if you use it on the lowest tension turn it back half a turn before you start to use it. It's not really stuck it's just getting binded at the extreme lowest and Xtreme highest positions. You would have to use something like a Channellock pair of pliers to turn it and free it up. You have to use a little bit of force. Don't squeeze them too much to damage the dialer. Try wrapping the dialer with a piece of cloth or rubber tubing to prevent it from getting damaged. @@akshatgamer2118 That round thing that I put on the very front of the hand exerciser is part of the electrical systems here in America. We have all kinds of regulations and codes. That thing goes on an electric junction box. If you don't have such codes in your country you probably won't find it there. But if you want you can check with an electrical store or a hardware store.

Rivets can only be removed by grinding them out or drilling them out. If you do that then you will have to replace it with another rivet or you could substitute a small screw and a nut. Another one of my viewers had a similar problem like yours. And I made a video showing him a possible solution. If you take a look at that video maybe it might give you an idea.

If I try to reduce the tension by turning the knob counterclockwise the lag gets a little bit more. I think this might be normal. Please keep in mind I'm not an expert on these things. I just try to figure things out logically.

@@irfaanxlcr8370 Yeah Sure! So i ordered this handgrip and i received it this morning. The problem started when i rotated the dial too much clockwise, and when i rotated it in the other direction , even though the dial would move the coil won't. Then i put some oil and tried again but it was the same issue, but when i rotated it in clockwise direction the coil moved and then it came off even in the other direction, just a detailed description. So the trick is to move the dial in both directions and it will come off

Look very closely when you turn it and see if the long screw is turning to move the tab that the spring is attached to. Let me know what you see.
Hello and greetings to you. I can just guess that maybe it's either adjusted too much way in or too much way out so it's getting stuck. If it's turned clockwise all the way it makes the tension adjustment the strongest. That's when it could get jammed after using it over and over again. You'll just have to turn it counterclockwise to break that frozen part of it and reduce the tension. I can't see it getting stuck the other way counterclockwise all the way in to the softest tension. @@Saw100 We have to get this thing fixed for you. Let's try something else. Try putting some oil on the knob inside of the space where it turns. Let it soak overnight and then try turning it again in the morning. If that doesn't work try running it under the hot water and then turn it. Try those and see if one works. If nothing doing let me know and I'll think of something else.

If you just bought it you should be able to return it under warranty. What I have to tell everyone is that if these hand grip exercises were made to be repaired the manufacturers would have spare parts available. However this is not the case and if your hand grip exerciser breaks and you're able to repair it somehow good for you otherwise you'll have to buy another one. If you take a look at my videos and one of them is able to help you that's great but if not then I don't have any more fixes for these hand grip exercisers. The only thing that went wrong with mine is the spring broke and I was able to fix that easily several times. Thank you very much and have a great day.

You'll have to check with a hardware store. I did not buy any of these springs. I recycled them and salvaged them from bed frames that were thrown out

If you look at the link to the video above I explained after about five minutes into the video why you are experiencing that problem with the dialer getting stuck. To get it unstuck right now you'll have to use a very wide grip pair of pliers or if you have channel lock pliers. Wrap the dialer with some rubber tubing or cloth to prevent it from getting damaged. Then grip it with just enough pressure with the pliers and turn it counterclockwise to break it free. After that whenever you use your hand grip exerciser if you turn it to the highest tension before you start to squeeze it turn it back half a turn from Maximum tension. This will prevent it from getting stuck. The same thing goes if you use it on the lowest tension turn it back half a turn before you start to use it. It's not really stuck it's just getting binded at the extreme lowest and Xtreme highest positions. You would have to use something like a Channellock pair of pliers to turn it and free it up. You have to use a little bit of force. Don't squeeze them too much to damage the dialer. Try wrapping the dialer with a piece of cloth or rubber tubing to prevent it from getting damaged. For you to free up the dialer you will have to use a channel lock pliers and apply Force to break it free. After that whenever you use the hand exerciser at the lowest or the highest tension you have to turn the dialer away from the highest or lowest tension by about half a turn. That will ensure it doesn't get stuck after constant use. The video shows you what I'm talkin about. When you use the channel lock pliers make sure you don't damage the dialer. If it's stuck on the lowest tension then you have to turn it clockwise. If it's stuck on the highest tension position then you have to turn it counterclockwise. That round thing that I put on the very front of the hand exerciser is part of the electrical systems here in America. We have all kinds of regulations and codes. That thing goes on an electric junction box. If you don't have such codes in your country you probably won't find it there. But if you want you can check with an electrical store or a hardware store.

Rivets can only be removed by grinding them out or drilling them out. If you do that then you will have to replace it with another rivet or you could substitute a small screw and a nut. Another one of my viewers had a similar problem like yours. And I made a video showing him a possible solution. If you take a look at that video maybe it might give you an idea.

Hello and greetings. Thanks for watching my videos. If by lag you mean some free play like a Car steering wheel has a little bit of free play in it. Mine has that as well. If I try to reduce the tension by turning the knob counterclockwise the lag gets a little bit more. I think this might be normal. Please keep in mind I'm not an expert on these things. I just try to figure things out logically.

@@irfaanxlcr8370 Yeah Sure! So i ordered this handgrip and i received it this morning. The problem started when i rotated the dial too much clockwise, and when i rotated it in the other direction , even though the dial would move the coil won't. Then i put some oil and tried again but it was the same issue, but when i rotated it in clockwise direction the coil moved and then it came off even in the other direction, just a detailed description. So the trick is to move the dial in both directions and it will come off

Hello and greetings. Thanks for watching my video and for your comment. It maybe the adjustment knob is stuck or stripped out. It's made of plastic. Look very closely when you turn it and see if the long screw is turning to move the tab that the spring is attached to. Let me know what you see.

Hello and greetings to you. I can just guess that maybe it's either adjusted too much way in or too much way out so it's getting stuck. If it's turned clockwise all the way it makes the tension adjustment the strongest. That's when it could get jammed after using it over and over again. You'll just have to turn it counterclockwise to break that frozen part of it and reduce the tension. I can't see it getting stuck the other way counterclockwise all the way in to the softest tension. We have to get this thing fixed for you. Let's try something else. Try putting some oil on the knob inside of the space where it turns. Let it soak overnight and then try turning it again in the morning. If that doesn't work try running it under the hot water and then turn it. Try those and see if one works. If nothing doing let me know and I'll think of something else.

If you just bought it you should be able to return it under warranty. What I have to tell everyone is that if these hand grip exercises were made to be repaired the manufacturers would have spare parts available. However this is not the case and if your hand grip exerciser breaks and you're able to repair it somehow good for you otherwise you'll have to buy another one. If you take a look at my videos and one of them is able to help you that's great but if not then I don't have any more fixes for these hand grip exercisers. The only thing that went wrong with mine is the spring broke and I was able to fix that easily several times. Thank you very much and have a great day.
