I ran across your video this morning... I started my business, "The Hog Dog Guy" in Cave Creek in 2009 ... Pretty much "Virgin" territory at the time. I ran my business til mid 2014 (5 yrs) and sold it to my worker/helper who contined for another year or 2. Since you were in the general area, perhaps you even stopped by my cart? (A few locations, but mostly at the then "Wild West Pawn" on Cave Creek Rd.). My set up was a lot simpler and mobile but fully appreciate your growth and ambition!... Continued good luck... Fully retired now and have relocated to N. Georgia. To this day I cherish the few years that I was in the business and most of all, meeting all the great people. Continued success!
Awesome story. The same goes for us. Well the product has now reached a 100% increase over here so I am getting concerned. These 6 items are named after our grandchildren so we try to perfect every dog we sell. The sad thing is now cost. What to do ummm
We are not heading toward you in our next launch but, I truly wish you well. We are still trying to find those Togo containers. We found 2000 but that’s it for the rest of the year.
@@angelseliteautodetailing Up State NY is a whole different world than NYC. A mobile food vending license is actually under $200(free for veterans) throughout the state. The outrageous prices in NYC aren't even for the mobile food vending license itself. Those prices are for a separate permit to vend on city property. If you vend from private property(near impossible to find in Manhattan but doable in other boroughs) you don't need one of those expensive location permits, just the vending license. Now if by 'stand' Joe means he has a 4 fixed locations, again Up State is still a different world. There are plenty of cheap retail spaces for rent/lease or even to buy. For example, there's a 650sf building on 1/2 an acre and zoned retail near Utica currently listed for $44K. It already has restrooms and a service counter. It would be perfect for a hot dog or hamburger stand after a little work.
That is a sweet outfit!. Hi quality equipment turns out a high quality product. I had a similar accident with my carts, Thank the Lord we were not injured.
In LA I’m not sure. Every State and City and county has rules. The best thing to do is call the county environmental Department and follow the LA county rules
Hi, I am looking to get started this spring and am curious if you would be willing to share what your first year profit was. Thank you in advance. Matt
Hard to answer this question. The cost of the start off is offset to your accountants needs. Any business will have costs but will deduct them as time continues. Profits are what you put into your business with your earnings but, can be written off in your ending tax returns if any the first year. I hope this helps
Greetings from Russia, having such an experience like yours here, you would have developed a good business business. Because we are not developed at all and the market is free.
okay set up although it seems fiddly too many things to touch and move just to complete one action one of the least enticing menus I've ever seen imo just sell the dog and let people choose toppings what quality hotdog do you guys use and where do you buy from? I dont want to sell my customers cancer so I'm looking into the highest quality I can
And we know…Many things have to change, the changes only happen as we the people allow them. We the people allowed this and we the people can change this , and you know.
You somehow think the previous bozo in the White House… The same guy who made Covid disappear with lemon juice and tonic water by Easter… The little tin pot mini Hitler… Would somehow have been able to not only keep gas prices from going up all over the world… He never would’ve allowed his. This was a delight to watch, it's 2023 and me and my wife are getting ready to begin are hot dog journey, wish us luck and hope all is well.

I'm in the works on my hot dog cart too! When do you think you will be open?

Kinda depends on your likes and the area you want to sell in.
I think it depends on what your target market is I mean you could sell very processed hot dogs or you could sell beef or fo a healthy option
What size dogs are those? 2 ounce?
5 to 1
