Did you guys try adjusting the height setting of the HUD? I’m 6’ and have zero issues with it being cut off. The passenger seat issue sounds like a sensor malfunction, not software. Also, the MSRP of the car is $77,500 and it’s an 18.8 kWh battery for 2022.5 and up. And the Polestar Engineered bits are a big deal! Brembo brakes, adjustable Öhlins dual flow dampers and forged wheels!
1. HUD is adjustable 2. Passenger seat is a glitch - my 2023 does not have that problem. 3. Plugging it in to my garage 220v outlet recharges battery in about 3 hours. 4. Center console depth is limited because the battery is directly underneath it. 5. That is NOT a transmission tunnel - it is the battery. Gas engine drives front wheels only - electric motors are in the rear.
the V60 is near the top of my list. I really wanted a Polestar 2, but it is just a little too small for my needs. The newer polestars are small SUVs, I already own one of those, so I do not need another. In reality, the V0 is actually shorter than the Polestar 2 by a couple of inches, making it a lower and more sleek car. The third thing is I do not like Air Conditioning. If it is just me in the car, I roll the windows down and open the sunroof. The Polestar 2 does not have a functional sunroof, but the V60 does. What I did not care for in your review, you call it a sports wagon, but you never got into what made it sporty. It is not just the power, but the adjustable ohlins suspension. I know it is a pain to adjust, but it is perfect for somebody who wants to dial in their car perfectly.
there's not a single wireless charger in a car on the market i've used that can actually charge my phone without lighting it on fire. just give me more usable console storage instead.
Recently bought the lower powered Cross Country version. However it has ample power and I cannot fault it. Best car ever and styling wise it’s a work of art. 10/10 🎉
Thanks. Always liked Volvo but this is my first time owning one. I feel like these are underrated. Engine is absurdly responsive, smooth, pretty quiet. Steering nice & gearbox can’t fault it. Safety features are less intrusive than in Subaru. The screen is very good quality also.
MY DOGS WILL SHOW EVERYONE HOW GOD AWE FULL THE TOUCH SCREEN IS ON THIS MODEL ~ AND HOW HORRIBLE THE PLACEMENT OF THE START AND STOP BUTTON IS PLACED.... LONG LIVE THE OLDER VOLVO'S ~ AS THE MASTER MECHANICS WOULD SAY GET AS FEW BELLS AND WHISTLES AS POSSIBLE AND YOU'LL BE ALL SET. MY XC 70 HAS BEEN ONE OF THE BEST WAGON'S IVE EVER OWNED AND IT'S BEEN PUT THROUGH HELL AND BACK AND STILL 100% IN TACT AND TOTALLY TRUST WORTHY TO DRIVE FROM COAST TO COAST .....
This car (my 5th Volvo) was a must for me because I wanted to keep a slightly smaller station wagon (my previous was a V90cc) and wanted electric without range anxiety. As far as I could tell from my internet search there were only two cars to fit the bill. This and a much more espensive Porsche. I am awed by the drivetrain and general look and excellent performance. I am very disappointed in the software failures/omissions and hopeful that Volvo will make significant improvements within fewer rather than more months.
Totally agree - I have a 2023. Exceptional handling, very fast, almost always using electric and looks fantastic - lots of turned heads - unique - doesn't look like everything else. The only complaint is that EVERYTHING is controlled by touch screen with Google- VERY un safe to try to adjust climate control or drive mode by swiping through touch screens while driving. Very frustrating - very awkward.
If you want a bigger screen where most car makers go towards to nowadays, then volvo isnt it obviously. First, majority went for massive front grills, then massive screens inside that make the interiors look horrible. I think volvo found a happy medium in that regard where they actually integrated it into the dash vs just slapping a massive computer monitor in the middle of the dash. No wireless charging? I think theres one available at your local canadian tire for 20$? 😂 either way, this review is so all over the place i dont really know where to continue. Why 2 reviewers? No variety from the second person just "yes" and "right" 🤷
It is not a sports wagon. Its limited to 180 kph like all new Volvos. And only pumped up 2 liter 4 cylinder engines in a expensive package. A definite no go.
What do you guys think of the V60 Recharge?

Great video - yea don't see many wagons anymore. It will probably sell but at a discounted price; I don't see many for sale in Canada.
Thank you for watching, wagons are definitely not the popular choice anymore.
Don't see many in part becuse they are unique and sold (afaik) only through individual order.

That's awesome! Glad you're enjoying the car. It's a great vehicle

I have ordered one with ETD May 2024.Nevertheless i really wonder what is the point of 450hp and restriction of max speed to 180km???????
@@panagiotiskritikos6070 safety, Volvo has decided that nobody needs to go faster. I have heard you can disable this with the Orbit tool.
Maybe so but I am impressed with how quickly I can be up to traffice speed when entering an interstate highway.
