Your Mom is basically the mother I dream of, the way you guys are so carefree and genuine with each other, it is what I aspire for in my own relationship with my daughters. Thank you for being the role models we need for healthy and loving relationships.
I wish I would have done more things with my mom while she was with us. Seeing you spend time with yours warms my heart and makes me smile and tear up. Cherishing the moments we have with our beloved ones is one of the most important things in life. Thank you for reminding me that Laura. God bless you and your family! ❤
I love it when mom gets so tickled she can’t stop.. she got a true belly laugh from “get the lead out.” 🤣 She is looking good too ! She is so relaxed and herself in front of the camera and I know we are all grateful to be able to see and enjoy her delightful-ness 👑
☕️My most favorite day - my ‘off’ day from work, wrapped in a blanket sipping my cuppa, while watching my two most favorite ‘virtual’ girlfriends do their thing! The endless smiles bring so much joy to any day…thank you to both. Prayers continue for a comfortable, successful recovery for your sweet mother 🤗💕
What’s not to love! Bantering between mother and daughter, plants/trees, laughter, yummy looking food. And a chandelier. ✨I had a blast! So glad your mom is healing well. 🥰
When you said “you hit the jackpot at The ‘Maxx” that was a missed opportunity to call your mom a Maxxinista 😂 ❤️. Even though I learn sooooo much from your gardening videos, I have to say the antiquing trip videos with your mom are my all time favorites.
Laura: “You’re such an enabler!” 5 seconds later… Laura: “You should have that. You have the perfect chair for that.” 😂😂😂 I love how you both enable each other, haha. My mom and I are the exact same.
The chandelier is very similar to the one I have in my potting shed. My dad picked mine up when he was at a garage sale and gifted it to me. He’s been gone three years now and it’s so very special to me.
I absolutely respect and appreciate you and your mother’s relationship, so honest, genuine and loving. I didn’t have that with my mother and if I had, it would have changed my life and my mental health. Thank you for showing all of us your lovely relationships.
I was thinking the same thing! Making memories with your mom is very special. And all the laughing that the two of you did is good for your endorphins!😄😄😄
I've been teaching elementary school age children for over 30 years and I love a good teachable moment, and you definitely took advantage of one while waiting for your mother. Thanks for that, and thanks for being so inspiring. God Bless you and your family and I hope that your mother continues to feel better.💞
Cynthia Armstrong, I appreciate your acknowledgement of her teaching ability because while I was observing and admiring the beauty that I really enjoyed her ability to put names to all the beautiful trees and plants and that I think is what makes our world beautiful 😍!!
The plastic Santa is a “blow mold” and are quite collectible… and that one is HUGE so I can see why it is $550! Thanks again for letting us vicariously antique shop as it’s fun to see what other areas of the country have in antique shops.
What?!!! I used to work in Marketing for a big national retailer. I told the buyer we try to avoid that term "blow mold" because it sounds awful. I can't believe those tacky things are now collectible.
Super collectable. That price is dead on. I would not buy it. But you’d be surprised… there are collectors out there that would scoop him up in a heartbeat.
I learned the hard way, I don't regret selling for $30.00 a nativity set to friends this past winter, but was blown away when I researched and found the angel alone was worth $1200.00.
@@sherilynkoss4546 I gave away all my outdoor Halloween decor to my niece-in-law a couple years ago, including the blow mold stuff. The older I get the less stuff I want to hang onto. (Note to Laura.)
You have no idea how much closer my daughter and I are thanks to your videos with your mom, I love your relationship with her. I just love your channel so much! It brings me peace and joy 😊
Love these videos. While sitting on the couch with my headphones on watching, my husband keeps saying, "What are you laughing at." Made my morning. Thanks!
I love how you found beauty in a parking lot....something a lot of us would over look more times then not. Thank you for reminding me to look for beauty in such simple and understated places.
My favorite videos are the ones with your mom….always so fun and heartwarming. Reminds me of me and my mom, and all the great memories we’ve made and are still making in the garden. 😊💙🌿
Isn’t it more fun shopping when you have someone to giggle with 🥰 loved shopping with you both 🌻 Glad your Mom is recovering so well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 hope the pretty chandelier finds the perfect spot between you two🤩
Ok, I just watched it again because I always watch 2 times, can’t help it but my all-time favorite moment is when Laura turns the camera on herself as if to say “what??!” I literally laughed so loud. That face you made Laura was priceless and one I’ve made at my mother probably a million times 🤣😂😂♥️♥️
I recognize St. Al’s. I worked there for 17 years as a nurse. I also had back surgery there twice. Your mom has been in good hands.I love seeing tours around Boise especially this time of year! Makes me so homesick, though. I have commented a few times asking why you don’t have burning bushes. They are so spectacular in the fall. Maybe it’s because they are more of a “one season” extravaganza.
my Mom and I had a relationship like this one, and while I miss her all the time, at times like this (and with the holidays coming), I especially miss her... she was sweet and funny and soft spoken just like Laura's Mom...
My mom’s name was Katherine. She was a special woman. And like you I miss her terribly, especially around the holidays. Even the toilet seat was decorated for Christmas! And the village she would put up….Everyone sooo loved it. Oh and the cookie tree. Thank you all for sharing.
The fact that Laura’s mom says, “That was probably the only tool you had. Like a butter knife or something.” And Laura just keeps talking had me in stitches!! 😂😂🥰
Laura , your Mom’s humour brightens anyone’s day! Her inner and outer beauty radiates throughout . ❤️ 🦋(It is too bad that white dress coat did not fit her! )Thank you for bringing us along.
Thank you for taking us to go shopping with you and your mom. Every time I hear her voice I get all bubbly and happy. When you took out those black plant stands I was screaming: “get them, get them” 🤣 I was glad you loaded them into the truck….. would love to come with you one day 🥰
These videos with You and your Mom are some of my favorites.Never think your Road Trips or your Cooking is not part of your Gardening info.Cause so many love you and your family that in real life is all apart of gardening for your soul.Thank you for that.🍂🧡🎃🍂
Not only do I love flowers, but I also love antiquing with my mom, AND TJ Maxx! 😁 You have no idea how satisfying it is to watch someone peruse the store and share excitement over their finds! Love these kind of blogs ❤️
When my daughter lived in Eagle we went to Rembrandt’s several times for coffee. You and mothers relationship reminds me of mine and my daughter. My daughter now lives in Utah and I don’t get to see her often and I miss her dearly.
Why do I LOVE these 'Antiquing with Mom' videos? All the giggles and fun, camaraderie and mother/daughter vibes! It reminds me of the fun times with my mom and sisters!
I want to go antique shopping with you and your mom. She can enable me all day long.🤣 I'm glad her back is healing. I have had 2 spinal surgeries and they can be tough to recover from. Prayers for continued healing.🙏💗
Glad to see I'm not the only one with random bags of mulch in the back of the vehicle. LOL My mom is coming to visit and it will be the first time in over a year to see her and this video got me even more excited to hang out with her! :D
I just texted my daughter to ask her when she wanted to go shopping because this video put me in the mood to shop with her. Enjoy your time with your mom!
So lovely to see you sharing a wonderful day with your Mom. Treasure every moment with her. You all reminded me of my outings with my Mom so many years ago. Nothing like the Mother /daughter bond. ❤️
As a historical seamstress, my eyes went immediately to the Gibson Girl picture as well as to a blue quilt folded on a table. I almost drooled 😂. But then I also saw a couple of pieces that were perfect for unattached cabinets in a kitchen!! Oh my goodness, but they were fantastic! I could get to Boise in a long driving day. Rent a Uhaul trailer. In my dreams 😂 But I always relish your antiquing trips ❤. So glad that your Mom is successfully on the mend. Much to be grateful for.
Your antiquing/shopping videos with your Mom are my favorite! I love when she tells you how much you need something, she’s the best enabler! Weird but as a viewer her sweet “isn’t that gorgeous” or “isn’t that pretty” is so comforting! Love her!
🍂WONDERFUL, I love all those shops!! Thank you for taking us along Laura! I am glad your Mom is doing better!! I can’t wait to see that chandelier hanging AND please show us your Moms shed to when she has that all done. 🍂 The outfits you bought for Samantha Grace, so CUTE, the Fall was is just so beautiful!! 🍂
Who will never look at a parking lot the same again? We won't!!! I do notice the trees and the colours but I don't say much because most people don't even see them... Your mother is such a jewel. Her soft spoken, calm way is just beautiful. The easy way you both laugh and play is a joy. It makes me miss my Mum so much. Thank you for the trip out. Good news about her back. She'll be hefting trees again in no time! (No, no, don 't)!!! Take care sweet ladies!...
Omg you and your mom are just the cutest!! I love how close you are. It’s like shopping with your best friend! Thanks for taking us along! Also agree with mom that chandeliers she pointed out was awesome! You can have kind of a she shed out there and glam it up. Edit yeah you grabbed it!!!!

I had to send this to my MIL because my husband calls her an enabler all the time! Her and I get into so much trouble because we root for each other’s crafting craziness. Love the videos of you two together!

You guys crack me up…. “Lead it out mom! “ That’s a fun day you’ll never forget and will bring it up many years now and giggle together again and again!
Oh Laura, We’d be HAPPY to watch you and your mom chat in a park any day!!! Her recovery is important to us, a bunch of “strangers”, as well. 😊 Enjoy these videos so much.
Love, love, love the mom & daugther outing! I would love to see how your mom uses the black flower planters. Just so happy for the two of you! "Makes me feel wise" I just love your mom.
So fun seeing a day of shopping with Laura and her mom! I'm wondering if we are all witnessing Garden Answer transform their town in the same way that Magnolia transformed Waco, TX! Imagining Garden Answers groupies traveling to see the gazebo, an Andrews Seed visit, having lunch at a Tavola, coffee at Jolts and Juice, antiquing, and maybe a stroll around the university!
When do the segments with your Mom shopping for Antiques and Vintage things and sharing a lunch it makes my heart burst and my soul soar. I remember well the days when my Mom and I did the same things a few decades ago. Brings back warm memories. Hope you can find the time to keep the tradition on your channel for us all to enjoy.
I always have the best time going on trips with you and your Mom, and that chandelier is gorgeous ! Samantha's new outfits are adorable. She's going to look like a doll in every one of them.
Leave it to Laura to use "hanging out in the parking lot" as an opportunity to teach us about trees. I also asked myself, "why doesn't Laura have a burning bush or 10." I just put one in my garden near the sidewalk and I love it when I drive in. So wonderful.
I have always enjoyed watching your antiquing trips with your mom, and have commented many times that my best friend and I love to go, too. Today’s video was bittersweet for me, because my friend passed away September 22nd, from Covid, just three days after her husband of 33 years, passed, also from Covid. She and I have been friends for over 3 years. There are so many things I will miss about my friend, but those day trips where we went antiquing, will be what I miss most. We always had so much fun, giggling and adoring all of the pretty things, just like you and your mom do. Just spending time with her was such a treasure, and she just “knew” my style, so she was also an enabler! Thank you for taking us along for these trips, because they will help keep my memories of our trips alive.
Just pulled out burning bushes, they are invasive, and HIGH maintenance. You trim them back, and before you know it they are right back. Love the video though, feel like I’ve had a day out!!!
that was sooooo much fun !!! It does my heart good to see you and your mom spend so much time together, shopping & dining & giggling - enjoy these days and never pass up the opportunity to do so. Parents are precious gifts from God, just as children are blessings from above. I miss my mom everyday (she passed in 2019 at age 93) ...
As many have already commented, the videos with your Mom bring to mind cherished memories of outings with my Mom. We could spend hours just browsing through shops. Really enjoyed the parking lot tree tour; I do the same thing when walking/riding through areas. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Ok.....you know you've got your garden mind alway on when the parking lot at your mom's doctor office turns into a beautiful learning experience. Love the way your Always sharing thank you❣
Laura, watching your video today reminds me so much of the many times I spent shopping and going to lunch with my mom. She passed away two years ago but I will always have the precious memories of spending time with her, her laughter and the love she had for her family. Your mom seems like she would be so much fun to visit. Enjoy the special times with her. You are making memories! ❤️❤️❤️
What was funny was when Laura’s mom said “What!!! It’s cute”…pointing at the small chandelier 😂.. you two are too funny. I loved seeing the trees and landscape also. Thanks for sharing 😊🙏🏽
Laura you are blessed to have your mom still in your life. You both enjoy a lot of things together. Keep doing what your doing with Mom and other family members. God Bless you all !
You two are so adorable!!! FYI that Santa blow mold is vintage and highly collectible. Although $550 is a bit much but there is a cult following and someone will pay that much for it. ❤️🎅🏼❤️
I enjoyed this video so much, thank you, Laura. My mom and I used to shop together and when her health deteriorated, I would speak with her on the phone while I walked around the shops. She passed 6 years ago when I was 27 and I miss her every second of every day. 💙
Such a fun day! I love all the beautiful antique stores ya'll have. Also, the places to eat ya'll have, I'm envious! Glad your mom's check up went well. Thanks also for sharing the color changes in the landscape.
Does your mom ever get mad or have a stern word for anyone? I just can’t picture it. I bet she was NOT the disciplinarian when you were growing up. She is always smiling and soft spoken! You guys are a trip! I so enjoy the two of you and your shopping adventures. Excuse me if I am not very disappointed you didn’t find much to buy. That just means you’ll have to do it again! Glad your mom has recouped so well. I hope Samantha Grace is all better now.
You two made me howl out loud a few times already this morning! Ahhhhh Laura n Mom. "The Taj Mahal" was a scream! Actually, I would have LOVED to get that for my greenhouse!!! A girl can dream! Love you. Love Mom. Love the Garden Answers great journey. Thank you!!

I agree about the Mona Lisa it was such a disappointment standing in a long line to see an 11x13 picture was expecting it to be much larger. Love watching your antique road trip. How often do you go?
( Maureen ) Vicky , I am so sorry that you were disappointed by the Mona Lisa , I have lived in the south west of France for 47 years and my daughter took me to Paris for the first time ever to visit the Louvre and my experience was different , when I approached her I felt overwhelmed I can’t explain it , but I really disliked the crowds . Bonsoir à vous de la Charente Maritime .

Love that Laura entertains herself discussing the trees in the doctors parking lot. 😂
I know, right? Who else would even notice all the varieties in a parking lot! 😁
Me too lol
Agree! We need more Laura "reviewing" landscaping videos.
She’s my kinda girl! I’m always pointing out beautiful landscapes and my daughter just nods her head.

Hope you can find the time to keep the tradition on your channel for us all to enjoy.
this makes me so happy - reminds me of my time with my dear sis-in-laws and my dearest mom-in-law. always giggling - warm and wonderful. thank you!
It makes me feel good that you spend such good times with your mom. It warms my heart....
My two favorite pretty "PRETTY" ladies always such a joy to see spending time together!
I love going antiquing with you both!
I’m glad your mum is recovering well.
I would love to see the botanical garden with all the autumn colours.
Thank you Laura and Laura's Mum for for letting me come out with you for a very fun day out. Love from England.
Just pulled out burning bushes, they are invasive, and HIGH maintenance. You trim them back, and before you know it they are right back. Love the video though, feel like I’ve had a day out!!!
I never found mine to be high maintenance or invasive. ( mine was also in Boise, so I don’t know if the region makes a difference).
PS-tell your Mom we all love her! We wish her a continued GREAT recovery!!!!! 😊😘
Had a rough morning today and this was balm for the soul! Seriously, just what I needed. Calm and positive💕
that was sooooo much fun !!!
Lol yes you are right
I wish I can eat from yours if you make such
Laura you are blessed to have your mom still in your life.
Your mother is a real riot! She defines "cool". Thanks for sharing your rendezvous with us.
I love that you are taking us through the parking lot and talking about the trees and shrubs. Laura you are just the best.
Loved the parking lot tree tour! It was so fun having you identify mature trees 🌳 😄. Thank you!
The chemistry between you and your Mom reminds me of my relationship with my Mom. Lots of good memories.
Thank you!!
I thought I was the only one who loves looking at tree barks! love it.
This was fun. Oh can’t wait to see the chandelier in the Hartley, and with the Christmas tree it’s going to be so beautiful.
I think it's going in her shed or her moms shed, not the Hartley. She already got one for the Hartley last time. 😊
@@lovingmy3monkeys yes I know, that's the one I was referring to. Haven't seen it in the Hartley yet. Have you? Did I miss it?
@@carolinaochoa7900 No not yet I bet she will have a big reveal when she has the Hartley all set. I know I'm all excited to see it myself. All the projects she does are all so beautiful. I just love watching what she will do next.
As soon as I read antiquing with mom I got so excited 😆 and yes of course she needs coffee!! LOL- I adore your videos with your mom ❤️ glad she’s recovering well!
"You have to have holiday towels in your bathroom, because it makes you happy". I love your mom.
I can only imagine Laura filming talking to herself and checking out all the plants in that parking lot 🤣 hilarious!
Glad to hear your Mum is making a good recovery 😊
