@@whyf16uy I definitely believe it will! I haven't been doing this for very long, but my best images are always the dithered ones. And I'm running on a Star Adventurer 2i with only the RA axis moving. I'm gonna have a go at the California nebula this saturday and make a video about it, let's see how it goes :)
@@whyf16uy Hey! Just to let you know if you're interested, I tried the California nebula, dithered every 3 images for 3px and it went great! If you want, just check out my latest video where I have it as a splash screen :)
I've never used PHD2 drift align & just assumed NINA 3 point align was good so might be worth looking at, another great image you have to but I know what you mean about the dec axis as it can be a pain on a lot of mounts as mine can play up to for some reason. I've tried adjusting the play out of my mounts but it still can give me issues sadly.
Okok, you got me hooked. You're exactly touching the topics I want to know about. Thanks. Subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you!
Nice shot! Have you tried dithering btw, that will eliminate all that walking noise in your final image and create a really sharp photo!
It's been on the agenda but I didn't know whether it would help with my DEC axis being what it is. Do you think it would help anyway?

Welp I'll give it a go

I always thought it was good enough also
Hey, can you explain how you got the layer of just the stars. Thanks, Tom
Check out this video. I explain it there. ua-cam.com/video/WGZRhZ3rDLg/v-deo.html
But instead of subtraction I now use difference in the mode drop down. It seems to look a little better
