@@optimizeproductionsofficial Hey Kaon, it shouldn't matter whether you're using a laptop or desktop computer... but tell me about the gear you're using and how you record your vocals? -Dean
@@optimizeproductionsofficial Hey Kaon, if your sound recording vocals is clean/solid on the way in then processing should go well... if you're dry signal when recording your vocal take is off then you need to try need to try new mic placement, get closer to or farther away from the mic, make sure you're not singing into a wall, make sure your signal (the wave form) is about 50%-75% up the meter when it comes in... things like that because again, if your dry signal is not sounding nice and warm and solid then processing won't always sound right :) Hope that helps! -Dean
I reccorded myself singing and part of it (when i was doing a harmony i think? Like a open mouth humming of "ahhh") blew mily mind because it sounded EXACTLY like a violin!!!! It was a lower note thou than whats in this vid. Does this mean i have talent or something or am i overreacting lol?
Really enjoying your channel, subscribing! I've got some problems downloading garageband, and was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to download it?
@@emildessle6236 Yes, it is unfortunate! BUT... the good news is, practically everything I share here on the channel are concepts that can be applied in ANY recording program. They button might live in a different place but you should be able to find a lot of these tools in any PC based program.
Hey Wise! That's a good question hmmmm... You could technically do it by running an output from your computer into your sound board/mixer but the tricky part would be the latency (slight time delay) that you would encounter. I think it would be hard to make it happen live through GarageBand just based on latency issues but you could technically export a backing track from your project to use live. Hope that helps Wise! -Dean

Have you tried layering it with the original recording without the octave difference so they play together for texture fullness?
