This phone looks amazing and the best phone period.
I just received my second update on my X Fold 2 so that great. Also i learned how to have two different custom wallpaper for inter and outer display. Ive master the software on this X Fold 2. If anybody have any questions i cant help easy up the load

Hey 👋, is there a way to get rid of the dark mood on the screen. Make the phone brighter. I heard that was part of May update.
@@AverageDadOfficial click on whatever picture you want for the outer screen and click save and then open up the phone and repeat the process and then you will have two different wallpaper for your inter and outer screens.

Hello, thank you for your video and update about this beautiful phone. Do you have any idea of the lifespan of a foldable screen? Can this type of screen last 6 or 7 years without peeling off or cracking?
tests have shown up to 10 years lifespan with folding and unfolding 300 times per day

Thank you for your video. Is there any way to do a smart switch? Like samsung. I would like to move from a samsung device to a vivo fold device. Just wondering if you can use an app to transfer all data from one phone to another like you can from a samsung to a samsung?
I have a doubt, this phone is too fragile like the z fold series ? Because i bought a z fold 3 and my inner screen damaged very soon like 3 months and the protective film of the inner screen exactly in the middle peel up ?

As you must know vivo through and through, do you use WhatsApp? And if so, is it possible to get floating notifications for it (rather than just an, icon in the top left)? If you can, how?

@@DaBlackSmokeMonster just received my fold 2 today and i assume you mean can whatsapp be made a floating window where you can move it about as a small screen and i can confirm that yes that works

Yes, some can't be removed like camera, settings obviously!

With previous vivo software. I couldn't remove Chinese blotware. Now this is good.

Just wondering on the notification shade when you pull it down can you reply back to your WhatsApp messages... As I can't seem to do it on my Vivo x fold... And also on Google maps when you press the voice icon does it work?... 👍 Thanks
You can't reply from notification shade but you can use voice on Google maps.
I don't use WhatsApp but I can reply to massages in notification shade

No, sadly not
Do you have any of the galaxy folds ? And if so is the vivo better and why ?
Had the Z fold 3 and 4. Vivo is better because it has a better outer and inner screen, it's £400 cheaper and there is nearly no visible crease.

How can I backup the phone? I try to backup via Vivo account and it says it's not available my region. Which region works in Vivo or do you use a different solution for backing up your X fold? Is there a better way to do this via Google drive or Dropbox? Sorry for the basic questions but I'm coming back to android from Apple for the first time in many years! Thanks for all your content on the Vivo fold devices. As a result of watching over the past few months, I decided to pull the trigger on the X fold 2 and LOVE it!

Notifications on the X Fold 2 works great. That was one of my problems with my Vivo X Fold they will come in but they will be like 5 seconds behind. I love Vivo fixed that issue on X Fold 2
hey! nice video ty. I just received my new vivo x fold2, all google services setup and working fine EXCEPT google wallet app. The app simply wont load, just gives out the error "something went wrong". did you manage to install and use google wallet successfully?
Yes, no issues on google wallet on any device i have had... apart from Huawei!
Anyone has a trick to connect with Samsung Watch 4 success?
PLEASE PLEASE HELP. I bought the Vivo Fold 2 last week. Everything was working fine on the Verizon network. I did a factory reset for no valid reason and now the only thing that works is the text messages on Verizon. No phone calls. When I make a call the other phone rings as soon as it's answered the phone disconnects. All inbound calls go directly to voice-mail. I NEED HELP TO FIX THIS. PLEASE HELP.
It's not compatible for Verizon
thanks for continuing with the vivo vids, just one question why is the text so large? is it just how you've set it up like that or is it because its being translated into english? scales pretty horribly on some of the menus.
I set it bigger for video purposes but I made it too big 😂

Turn off Jovi assistant and use the Google assistant from the Google widget

Yes they do, no need for a gesture app
I noticed that you have a recent app list in the dock that its not showing on my vivo x fold +, i think thats a feature only available in the new vivo x fold 2 , but I may be wrong
I don't know if I remember the recent folder on my old X Fold but on the X Fold 2 it's way more customizeable he can even take that shadow off from the dock too. I will agree software is a lot better on the X Fold 2

I'm getting delayed notifications on snapchat, is there any way to fix this?, I'm seriously considering sending the device back as for my company we use Snapchat to advertise daily
set battery to high performance, make sure the app is set to auto start.... failing that, Chinese ROM's can be annoying with notifications

Hey dad, have you noticed that when you switch UA-cam to popup mode, where it puts the tiny little window on the screen you can drag around, everything suddenly locks to 60hz, even if you've got it locked 120 and everything is turned on in the 'apps that run at 120hz' section?
It's kind of frustrating me as I've never seen it on my last Samsung and Xiaomi devices. Have you seen it? Is there a way to make it not do that?
Hey dude, do you have all the apps you are using set to high performance battery mode? the default is to set to 60hz when more than 2 apps open unless set to high performance.

Hi, all SIM's work fine in UK, no issues making calls, texts etc. I am on Sky mobile which uses the O2 network.

I thought I would share this with you ...
I Purchased an IQOO Pro 8 at Christmas 2021. When I First turned it on... I Was asked to select a Country from a list of Countries... But the UK was Not there !.
I Selected None of them. I was Prompted again to Select a Country when I turned the Phone on Later and Again Selected None.
I Was then told that I was Given ' India ' as my Region by Default and would be Unable to Change it .
I Never Used the IQOO Phone as my Daily Driver and Used it as a Personal Hotspot Device.
Have you had a Similar Experience ?... I Have Ordered a Vivo X Fold 2 and would Not want it to happen to it as I may use it as my Regular Phone ! .

I have the Vivo X Fold and I must say I love the phone, but I dislike the stock browser. I have installed Google Chrome, but every link opens in the stock browser unfortunately. Is there a way to delete the stock browser or to chose chrome as default browser?

@Average Dad thank you, after using the flagship galaxy since the galaxy s1 in 2010, then moving to the z line since the fold 3 , this is the first time in 13 years Im going to try a different phone. Hope I can switch all my shit over with samsung switch
