I just switched from apple, I have been an apple user for the last 10+ years and I was bored with iPhones. Got the Z fold 5 last week and I love it! still need plenty of tips and tricks to learn so this video will be great for me.
The same thing happened to me. I came from an iPhone 13, and with the iPhone, it was just the same thing, just a little bit better. After a while, I thought, "I want a big change," and so here I am with a Fold 5. :)
I was an iphone user until the 7 gen, at some point they got ridiculously expensive with no real features to justify, then I moved to Samsung and was happy for 5 years until I decided to give iphone a chance again with the 14 gen ...what a disappointment!!!! I lasted a year and a half and here I am back to Samsung with a lovely zfold5
@franciscogutierrez5016 yes! I was up to the 12 pro, and it had a great camera but that was about it. The Z Fold 5 has so many great, fun and useful features I'm still not bored of it

Love all of your Samsung content!! One correction. I believe the toggle for "show multi window menu with one window" 4:22 that setting actually adds a single small bar at the center of the screen when you are in single app view, when you tap it is show multi window controls. It is not related to the menu bar on the top of a pop-up window.

Jeff thank you for this awesome video, it really helped me get the most out of my new Z Fold 5. I am hoping you come out with a tips and tricks video for the Z Flip 5. I have one of those also but I can't get the front cover screen function to do the cool things that my wife's Razr + 2023 does. I'll bet you figure it out like you always do and hopefully you post a video. Thank you again for helping out people like me.
I learned something new thanks to this video. The "hold down a link in Samsung Internet to open it in Split-Screen view" also works with Samsung's non-folding phones too. It takes me forever to watch your videos now that I've got a modern Samsung of my own because, unless it's Fold specific, I'm always pausing and trying these tips out on my own device.
Speaking of things I enjoy trying out on my own Samsung Galaxy... My Buds2 Pros arrived today! Your videos have never sounded better. For everyone else reading this; I was a winner in Jeff's July Watch and Buds competition. Technically I was the runner up; but, I feel like the biggest winner because I got exactly what I wanted, something I know I'll use daily, and they're even better than I thought they'd be. Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but 10:05 I have Google Chrome installed and you can drag anything from the page you're viewing, to the right and it'll open but a new page (side-by-side) panel 🙂

I received mine 2 days ago... Got the Samsung grey/black color in 1TB. Upgraded from Z Fold 4... This is my 4th Fold... Had the 2, 3 and 4 prior to this one. Also have the S23Ultra. Samsung fan boy I guess... Happy with both

I love this phone. I came from the note series. I've got mine now but i can't see the Show and Hide with touch and hold. Where do i have to turn this on. It's not on my phone that's in your video.

I don't looking at the taskbar... to me, its distracting and besides when you switch tasks, the most recently used apps show up anyway

I did figure out the 5 will run 4 apps at the same time not 3. However the 4th app has to be started first then start your other 3 in windows. It only works with apps that run in the background such as pandora and spotify.

I got the 5 yesterday and both Instagram and tiktok had the new interface but today they're both back to the standard format. I uninstalled both and reinstalled. Tiktok launched into the new format but then after closing the app it went back to the standard format went Instagram just stays in the standard. Any idea why? Maybe a setting?
You can usually clear cache to fix

From personal use the task bar is useless it just creates an area where you accidentally press buttons depending on how you want to hold it and even after you saying it’s super useful to switch apps you swiped up and pressed the app on the Home Screen
