I took an African ancestry test 2 yrs ago and found that I and my family are direct descendents of our beloved Mansa Musa and 2 yrs later, am able to go and visit Mali, Africa.. as well as Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Exactly after all this time you think they would have by now 🤔 but of course that industry you speak of will never admit that the wealthiest man in the world, in history and to this day was a Black Malian Man! If it wasn't for the internet and then platforms like this (who aren't exempt from their own passive aggressive "insecurities") I doubt me & many others would have ever heard of him! The fact we were never taught this in Western schools says it all ! Which I extremely resent these institutions for and that's me being nauseatingly "PC" 😡

To whom this may concern there needs to be a correction made on the 2:26 mark. Mansa Musa did not over thrown his brother ABUBAKARI THE SECOND. Mansa Musa's brother ABUBAKARI THE SECOND was a visionary who was infatuated with knowing what was across the other side of the world. To make a long story short the kingdom or the thrown was passed on to Mansa Musa because his brother made an ultimatum to him that if he (ABUBAKARI THE SECOND) didn't return from his voyage to what is now known as the America's with in a year time span than Mansa Musa can become the king or ruler of the Mali Empire. There's actually proof of this in Christopher Columbus's Journal and the gold spears that the Indians gave to Columbus on his voyage back to Italy. The story is actually even more deeper than what is known to the rest of the world. We really appreciate the content. Thanks

Wait, that's not how Mussa got to the throne. That's not the story we have in Mali today. His brother was the king, He lead the army. The king, like Mussa was very intelligent and curious and an adventurer. He wanted to see the world. He built a fleet of ships, took half the army and set sail across the Atlantic to see what was out there. When he didnt return Mussa was made king and adopted his brothers children and took his wife as his own as the Islamic law instructs. Also after he crashed the economy in Egpyt by giving away so much gold to commoners the poor he went back and brought back the gold then borrowed money he didnt need from the rulers at high interest. Interesting.

He gave nothing compared to king Solomon, who no before him or after him will be as rich as he was in his time, that he made silver to common as stones, the entire temple he built in Israel from roof to bottom, interiors and exterior all made of solid gold, into, fabric, monkeys, apes, farming, ivory, horse business to mention but a few. Read the book of 1 kings and 2 kings from the Holy Bible

I believe that you guys think Mansa Musa was the richest man because you can prove it through history or whatever you use to measure these things but Solomon has this guy and every other guy you can ever mention beat by a long shot. God told him that because he didn't ask for riches that he would make him the richest man to ever live. At his coronation he was given things worth so much in today's money that it would be incalculable. Whole forests of cypress wood were given to him. Gold of such value that it would corner today's market all over the world. Same with silver and gemstones. Some kings gave up half their treasure just to build alliances with him. Ships sailed from across the sea laden with valuables, so much that he couldn't spend it all in ten lifetimes. The man owned mines all over the middle east.and some of the oil being drilled there is probably owned by his descendants. His wisdom brought him even more wealth. Some if not all of Musa's wealth probably originated with King Solomon. Anybody ever do a list of Mansa's descendants? Betcha Solomon is in there even distantly. Don't take my word for it. Look it up. You may just be surprised. God provides abundantly and exceedingly above what we can imagine. I know I'm about to get my teeth kicked in and down my throat for bringing God into this but.....
