Mathematician-philosopher-physicist extraordinaire #WolfgangSmith has chosen to emerge now, at the summit of his life’s work, in order to prepare a new generation for what he calls “a singular moment in history.” Is the so-called “quantum reality problem” actually the sign that a four-century arc of human history - what René Guénon has called “the reign of quantity” - is reaching its end?
From the creative team that brought you The Principle in 2014, #TheEndofQuantumReality - which also features Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Olavo de Carvalho, and narrator Richard DeLano - is now available on disc and digital streaming. Don’t miss this singular documentary designed to blow the doors off the quantum reality problem, and signal the end of the Reign of Quantity.

Watched the documentary, I find it quite compelling, or at least, more compelling than the other solutions and theories proposed to the quantum enigma. In any case, what's the song used at the end of this trailer called? I've been trying to find it to no avail

"One Way Up" is composed and performed by the narrator, Richard Delano and recorded and mixed by Richard Robson. He appears to be a music enthusiast and, from the credits, did the music for the film together with Robson. This song is not available through music syndication.

The theatrical run was already completed by the time all this went haywire. Disc and digital are coming soon, so keep an eye out for an announcement in the coming weeks.
Incidentally, if you and/or anyone you know really want to see the movie, and help us help others see it, consider making a donation at TheEndofQuantumReality.com - we need money to make it happen!

This was such an engaging film, but I was a bit intrigued why you chose to avoid the "G" word of the equation.

    • @PhilosSophiaInitiative
      @PhilosSophiaInitiative  3 роки тому +2

Thanks, glad you liked it. As for the rest...
It's worth first pointing out that "the G word" makes its first appearance with the presentation of the cosmic icon at the _very beginning_ of the movie.
Secondly, Dr. Smith and Dr. Nasr refer to "the G word" in the middle of the film quite freely and openly.
But this wasn't a movie about "the G word": it was a movie about Dr. Smith, his resolution of the quantum reality problem, and the rediscovery of the corporeal world.
The film's argument had nothing to do with God. If it leads you there by your own inference, well and good; but you can only have done so by inserting supplementary premises of your own. It's not as if this movie is some kind of theological polemic: it's a movie about quantum mechanics and the nature of this-worldly reality. Getting from the latter to God doesn't happen with a snap of the finger; there's a long way in between the two.

@@anythingboxEveryone is given the ability to learn of God through observing the world around us. Beyond the ability to conclude that there is a God, Faith is a requisite. Without the gift of Faith, no rational thought will bring you to a more complete understanding of the details. Much of it is in the Bible, but He came to earth and taught many more things than what are contained in it. One needs to examine the doctrines and teachings of His Church, but to accept it requires Faith. Faith is a gift from God. He is not compelled to provide us this gift, but with sufficient prayer and a sincere heart, He will grant it. If you think it can be obtained by ones own searching, you are sadly mistaken, and without it, we can never reach the purpose of this life and enjoy the one following this one.

Quantum reality, paranormal, Life after death...Life, The Universes singular moment that brings us too...The moment humanities consciousness realizes that we NEVER stop living, moving, thinking and seeing that is all around us at all times.
    We become the Quantum Observer!
Our conscious energy can NEVER be destroyed, we then at some point can observe everything we choose to. That's our consciousness, our free will to choose, observe.
If you we're to ask this ignorant kid. This not only makes sense, I see "it " all coming together, whatever that means.

When the scientists try to reach into the spiritual realm, they are guessing and it is called metaphysics or more lately , quantum physics. They are guessing.

Quantum physics doesn't really make sense, physicists admit this. They aren't making it up, its based on math and confirmed with observation over and over for 100 years since it was discovered. We use it for our electronics. It is understood quite well, it just doesn't make sense

@@immax79 There are plenty of "science focus" documentaries out there already. Try "The Principle" for starters. But why do you believe intelligent rational thought should have roadblocks placed in the way? Science can only explain so much. There needs to be rational thought and facts expounded to override the nonsense being spewed forth from most college campuses with things like the Evolution of life from non-life, the higher animals from the lower ones, and man from animals, multiverses, and more Alice in Wonderland fairy tales. It is fortunate that there is someone with the stature of a Wolfgang Smith to lay things out in the way he has and clear the fog that has been obscuring the truth and being spread by most of the Intelligentsia for the past hundred years.
