What happened? I used to listen to your Freestyler cover at least weekly, and vividly remember you having posted very interesting videos semi-regularly until recently. Yet as of today, this 8 year old vid is the latest I can find, and the Freestyler cover is gone as well.

Cobus Potgieter You only have 8 inputs in your interface, but you have 14 mics? Or did you put the other ones in the digimax? (Silly question but i'm new in the recording world :/ )
Joshua Ongenae What he probably did was put the main drums (Snare, toms, Kick, total of 7) on the Audiobox and the extra ones (room and Cymbal mics) on the digimax to give it a different feel and make it easier to mix. Different interfaces have different pre-amps which give their tracks a different texture/sound/color or what have you. When your tracks have different tones, they're MUCH easier to mix.

Duncan Domino Digimax is just a preamp. Digimax would have had to been attached either through the ADAT or the 1/4" outputs on the back of it.

How does he hook up all of those mics to that interface?? It looks like he's only using 6 of the xlr ports on the audiobox 1818vsl.

Caleb knott Did some research, turns out it's the presonus digimax d8 preamp. I guess you can connect the 1818vsl and the d8 together to add an extra 8 xlr inputs.
I wonder does that add extra latency issues, because if not I need to get my hands on one.

Why 24fps and not 60fps??
+Flix A study have been made in the film industry htan shows how 24 fps make the viewer feel more comfortable and how the movie (or video) seems more realistic at that rate
+Flix 60 is good for gaming not for movies and shit, less frames makes it look faster and more awesome, not that smooth and slow, in fight scenes in movies sometimes they use 18 fps to make the figthers look faster and it makes you feel that the figther is so fast that you cant even understand what they are doing

HAHA his PC comments. I agree with him, but I know when he says that PC looks better there's some people getting fired up out there. Apple products work well and look good, but they don't do everything (such as gaming) and they're expensive. Not much wrong with PC anyways, besides you may need to know a slight bit more to use it.

come on bud, PC's more stable than Mac??? I tend to see eye 2 eye w/you on most things. I have (well had, I have a new Collector's Series SST kit now) the same kit as you except it's Black Mirra, I run a 9000 rack almost to the exact specs as yours and I to play nothing but Sabian!!! HOWEVER, I respectfully disagree with your opinion on computers. Trash the PC and get yourself a Macbook Pro, you'll thank me when your tacking & recording instead of trying to get rid of the viruses, malware, spyware..... I'm also addicted to gaming. I play on Xbox One though.

It's actually weird that you're disagreeing with HIS OPINION since IT IS his opinion. But he actually prefers iPhones & iPads(I think) over Android Phones & Android Tablets, so don't hate.
