Thank you for the video. Very informative, very good advice from experts at their sport. BTW... you may want to invest in a decent microphone(s), it is an easy way will improve the quality of your videos and will make a big difference.

Totally agree. I have the same thought while I watch. Nowadays tons of cheap microphone can achieve pretty good sound quality.

Thank you for this breakdown. I’m looking to get into long distance skating as an alternate to running. I haven’t been on skates in a long time. I last skated regularly in the 90s playing hockey. I was thinking of 125 but Robin’s comment that his form is better with 110 convinced me that I should start at 110.

Hi, what about 80mm? This size is still super popular.

This should have been titled in a way to let the viewer know that these tips apply to track/speed skaters. 100mm is a fairly large wheel for recreational skaters that are not at least intermediate.

Good afternoon this is Tim from Australia. I currently ride swell power slides 110s. However I want to feel more grounded and stable and would like your opinion on whether I should choose 80mm or 90mm wheels. I have general flat areas around us etc and my preference is 80mm but what do you think? Thanks Tim

I'd say 90mm if you can. I have 80mm and feel like I can't go fast enough

    Hi Victor,
    What is double layer wheel?
If a double layer wheel is 86A+64A, means inner layer is 64A and outer layer is 86A?
What is full form of 'A'

My 9 years boy having 1.5 years experience. He started with 4*90 as advised by you. Now he is using 3*100.
We have a tournament in End of March. Should we go with 4*100?

    Hey Guys!
Thanks for the video, I have a concern nevertheless :
I'm living in Brittany (France) and the road are not quite good.
I still like to skate for 20-30 km.
Plus I have big feet (32cm), so I was going to head for rigid boots from powerslide with 110 mm wheels.. what do you think ?
Do you know a brand that specialises in big feet ?
(I had roces and the boots broke after 1 year)
    Thank you so much!

Thank you for the nice helpful video! I have small a question, what is your opinion on 2x110/2x100 wheels for someone with roughly one year of experience on 4x100 wheels?

      @thorupviktor  3 роки тому +1

I would transfer immediately to 4x110mm, when you’re ready for that :)
