One Last Thing!!!! Once you've randomised at the beginning of class, use Windows+Shift+S to copy the randomised class to something like MS Paint. That way you won't lose the layout. I made that mistake a few too many times 🤦🏽♂ ⏳Don't have the time to code everything yourself? Love this. Question: Any guidance on how to weight the randomizer for students that have special seating needs? (IE: only in outside row or only front row, etc)?
Towards the end of the video I show how you get to decide where students sit but still make it so it looks like they're being randomized too. From 9:00
@@HashAliNZ Thanks! That's what I get for jumping ahead and not listening to the whole video. I really appreciate this file and presentation. I knew there was a way, but never had the time to develop it myself. Thank you, again. Made my week!
Very cool. Anychance you can make a video on using a similar system but for picking teams. So the names are randomized at the click of a button with a script behind it? And then a captain of the team has eg: 5 random names to choose from? To become a team member.
How could you make it so that students are also distributed according to boys and girls? For example, I want 2 boys and 2 girls at each table grouping.
Thank you, very helpful!

I really like how you did it. I had a similar one, but it was made differently. Amazing!
Thank you! 😊
Excellent! Thank you 👍
