I ordered my bar last month and it’s going to be coming next week! After watching this video I am very happy I got this bar over any other. From what I hear this bar is great for starting a home gym and it really fit the budget. I have fringesport bumpers and I am amazed at the durability( They just won’t break!). Keep up the great work Fringesport!!!
The bushings came lose in the sleeve of my barbell. They just slide back and forth when the bar is tilted now. This is not only obnoxious, but it makes my bar feel cheap and junky. Why would they come loose all the sudden after being fixed for the rest of the time I had the bar? Any way to fix this?
To be completely forthright to say the "coating" is important for the feel without mentioning that the knurling always feels the best when there is NO COATING certainly isn't telling the whole story. 3 ways to lie. 1.Direct lie 2. The lie by omission. 3. Exaggeration. Do I posit malicious intent on your part? No. But, when one of your favorite topics is barbells you should know this, which you do. I challenge you to do better sir.
@@kittenluvzu Yes, a baseless insult 4 months later. Exceptional human here folks. Why look introspectively when living in mediocrity is so warm and fuzzy. Yeah, I’ll get off the couch, mines a sofa, and take some deep breath’s, that certainly seems to be the issue with your “informational video.” At least for me huh smart guy. 👏👏
@@mattpeters6224 Ok fella, I've had about enough of your lip. You need to drop and give me 10 pushups. Then you need to come up with a few good reasons why a bare steel bar is not ideal for most home gyms.
@@kittenluvzu At the risk of entering the point when you have had enough of my lip I will honor your request as I did when you asked me to get off the “couch.” Ok, 10 PU’s complete. 👍. Now, when one has the ability to read and comprehend it is clear that my argument is based on preferring SS or Bare Steel bars over coated bars. I understand that you have product to sell but, I called you out for NOT discussing non coated bars. Coated means sacrificing feel for lower maintenance with a Bare Steel bar and a lower price point when compared to Stainless Steel (SS). I certainly don’t keep score sir. We all answer for our deeds, physical and verbal, no exceptions. 🍻
@@mattpeters6224 Nice job on the 10 PU's! Going from a coated bar to a top-of-the-line stainless steel bar is like going from Fruit of the Loom to Gucci if you catch my meaning. It literally changes your life. Knurling is also king! But we digress. I believe one really big reason why many people eventually stop working out is due to subpar equipment. You couldn't pay me to own any bar other than bare or stainless. No, I don't work for Fringe. I'm just some badass with awesome weight lifting equipment (and bored out of my skull "working from home"). My equipment has tolerances so tight, it is technically considered a "tool" before weightlifting equipment. Isn't that interesting? Now, I DO respect the point you've been making all along, and that you're trying to educate people and make them smart, but as you get to the end of your life, worn out, you're going to realize all those people are still dumb.
smarty nxtdoor The bearing bar will give an advantage for cleans, snatch, etc. This is because the increased spin allows for better wrist rotation. Therefore we conclude that you can likely snatch more weight with the bearing cartridge.

Thanks for explaining the difference! Now I can order a bar from you guys :)
great video, got style and attitude, and explained everything about barbells for a beginner
My wonder bar will be in tomorrow. I used my dad's a few weeks ago and I had to grab one, along with 480# in fringe bumpers ;)
Hey Josiah! Sorry for the late reply. We hope you are loving your equipment!!! Let us know if you have any questions or feedback!
Just set up my garage gym to combat the Social Distancing. Excited about training at home. Fringe has great service. Give them a try.
That is awesome! LHLH Lift Heavy Lift Happy

Great video. Is bush barbell easy on wrist for 5x5 program including bench press, squat, row and shoulder press?
Bushing is a great choice for that program!

So the W2 bush bar is good for the trifecta power lifts? Will the spin on the collars mess up my wrists if I'm doing bench press?
Do u ship to New Zealand 🇳🇿
Bushing: bodybuilders and those who confined to the main 3 lifts (deadlift, squat, bench)
Bearing: crossfit and powerlifting
which one is better for crossfit workouts? bushing or bearing?
Bearing
