Oh man, this is so great. Sometimes it's hard to believe that a group of guys decided to get together and make such a joyful noise. This band had some recognition in their day, but they were criminally underrated.
I had several original Canned Heat albums when I was a kid. Does anyone remember the 11 Abums for .01 cent deal. My family ordered it three times. So I was 11 years old with three brand never scratched original Canned Heat Albums........Changed my musical life. All for the good........did ever wake with the bullfrogs on you mind.
As Waterboy would say, “Mama says, if we could, um, take what these guys got, and bottle it up for sale, well, we’d get ourselves a real Can of Whoop A-s. Maybe even a Can of Heat. And I’d bring it right down on Colonel Sanders head!”
Boogie, people! R.I.P. Blind Owl.
rip to the bear, bob Hite. he would overdose 8 years later.

miss that slide by the blind owl. simply not the same band or sound without alan wilson.
Miss that bass too
This band has it all. We were blessed people. They left us great memories.
Im a big Canned Heat fan, Thanks for share and more please
Nice! That entrance was a novelty on this show, and I liked that one guitarist's hat. It's a feel-good song.😎
A very popular band that saw lots of radio play when I was young.
Bob (the Bear) Hite. RIP
Back when a mic on the kick drum and an overhead were sufficient.
(:
Espectacular presentación !
Fabulous!
Thank you very much
That was great!! The best bands had a mighty Hammond B3!!!
que placer que estén subiendo estas joyas los de midnight special allá en los united
Double bass drums niiiiice
And completely unnecessary!
Thanks for these videos...they make for an awesome YT playlist for trips down memory lane! 😎🎸
Bob Hite's brother on bass...this is that weird moment when CH had keyboards...

Did you ever wake up with bullfrogs on your mind. I think that's correct.
Henry Vestine was just so damn good.
Good, but not the same without Blind Owl…

This song is sooo *Groovy* 🌼❤
Holy shit the guitarist is incredible
saw them in june '74
The Blind Owl is sorely missed.
You’re sadly right!
Well, that was very Woodstockian.
I like that "Woodstockian."😎😊
@@StephanieJeanneThat's what pops in my mind when I see that.
@@gregoryduncan3067 hehe, and I thought, "Yeah, they were there."
Definitely resembles my older brothers back in the day!🎶
crazy how Pete from Home Improvement was in this band.
Good stuff
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fito de la Parra...on drums...
🔊🎧🔊. 🎸🎸 💃💃💃
My mans in the khaki with the BAWLZ
Some things just don’t change do they?
Real good grooclve and singing... but i miss so much wilson sound and solo
FOR SUPER EARTH!
Miss the Owl
👽
Cómo se nota la falta de blind owl y de su bajista.
Without Alan Wilson, it's not even close! Still good, but almost like a parody of the original.
Apart from Hite, i don't know who's in this edition of the band. Xan anyone help me out?
James Shane on rhythm guitar, Henry Vestine on lead guitar, Richard Hite on bass, Ed Beyer on the hammond organ and Fito de la Parra on drums
Good but under the ROXY MUSIC version…
They sound so primitive.
Terrible mix. Turn lead singer's mic up.
Definitely 💯%, vocal needs to be louder. Too bad.
Not even close to the original..
