The MTBs aren't always with the culprit, usually its with someone who is trying to hide something major. In this case Fukawa was terstifying that she was not hiding in the recreation room and wanted everone to believe that no matter what. you knew otherwise and had to prove it...but of course fukawa doesnt want to shut up (lol) this one case actually has (i think) 3 MTBs, to give you an idea

@MaoSantaKawaii you actually MTB with Fukawa twice: one in chapter 4 and the other time in chapter 5. chapter 4 was about Fukawa hiding in the rec room when *spoilers (duh)* Sakura died, and the other was about a discrepancy on whether or not Mukuro's body was wet on appearance or after it exploded.
kokubunji it was fukawa. in chapter 4 i believe you MTB focus on fukawa about genocider sho, but in chapter 5 it was regarding the state of the body (drenched due to the sprinklers)
I love that if you get friendly with her, her ability Vocabulary lets you have more bullet slots in this mini game, so when you go up against her like this it’s like she shot Herself in the foot by giving you the ability
i love how in these games, its not just the culprit who gets mtb's!! it shakes things up more and makes it more interesting
