That dream was sort of shot out of the window with the older-sister-suicide story, but one can still hope... :)
@TheScumper She is more of a gun person. She supposedly has a 'crack' shot, and is rarely off target. See Season 3, Episode 9; Penelope. In the current season, it seems as though she may have more skills from her time away from the BAU. See Season 7, Episode 1; It takes a Village. Hope this helps.

I'm a new viewer, discovered CM this year and JJ is my absolute favorite character... she's really not forgettable or expendable if you ask me.. she's really important to the team and the show and is the character I relate to and love the most. JJ's awesome. I can somehow watch CM without Emily (my 2nd fav.) but no JJ will kill CM for me. JJ

@ToTheStars45 -Season 5 has actually been very interesting for JJ. She's been in a dillemma, has been seen doing press conferences AND profiling with the team more, and also, we got to learn a bit of backstory about her. But, uh, JJ-ians still want MORE! =D
Apparently Season 9 will be based on JJ. We know a lot about the other members of the BAU but not JJ. So we're gonna be learning more about her past this season
