My question is I want to become Medical lab technologist so what is the requirement that needed where I am going to join community college and how long it takes to finish course immediately to join MLT field?
So please answer my question and would appreciate ur help.
JJ Medicine great job thanks
You state in this lesson that all words have three meanings, but they don't. Like Tracheotomy. It has a prefix and a suffix and has a combining vowel. It doesn't have a root.
@@mariamohammed9038 You need to take lab tech courses.
Beautifully broken down.. I love things, "categorized, " "Labled. ".. it helps organize each term or whatever that's needed to learn. Thank you 👍

do you mind me asking, what jobs are medical-coding related?
How was your journey? Do you work as a medical coder? Why I'm asking, because I'm thinking if I should study medical coding, if it worth it?
@@vasylynastasyshyn2244 hi, thanks for the reply. Wow, I've already forgotten this phase where I was considering to be a medical encoder. This was the time when the pandemic is happening, and online jobs are the thing. To answer your question, I did not continue this path because upon further researching, and watching another youtuber (contempo coding) [please forgive me jjmedicine for giving her YT] - if one is not in a medical field like nurses, it will be very difficult to be a medical encoder. Good luck in your journey, hope we all make it to be successful in our endeavors in life. I'm rooting for you.
I'm in my junior year and I am taking medical terminology. I'm not planning on going to college to be a surgeon or anything, but it is a great class. This video was helpful!

I'm 17 and in a college medical terminology class. Planning on becoming a physical therapist. This video series is a life saver!!!!!!
Being a doctor must be hard but I have to keep trying, my grandpa pushed me into it and I find this video a good way to start. I'm 12 but it's better to study early than late 😊
Why do you want to become a doctor? What's your reasoning? Just curious.
Yeah, if your grandpa is pushing you into it and you don't want to, then don't do it, you won't like college and you won't like your job. Do something you like but also be realistic right?
If he's happy with it then it doesn't matter if his grandpa pushed him into it. Also stop making him doubt himself when he hasn't even started

I'm an older student starting the Care Assist program, and I am so glad I found this channel to help with learning the terminology! I try to make associations to aid my aging brain in this, and, for instance, got, 'He completely wet his DIA-/PER through and through' from your video. In my text book, we are also learning abbreviations, and when I first saw SOB, I realized my brain was hardwired to automatically think, 'Sonofabitch', rather than, 'Shortness of Breath', so now to remember, I think this 'This Son of a Bitch has shortness of breath' to remember! Lol!

Thanks for this review. It's really good. But I think the best way to learn medical terminology is to buy a book on the subject and use the list of medical prefixes and suffixes toward the end.
