Exactly. As someone who’s made a lot of things from scratch, even the most efficient tool in the world would take hours upon hours to make everything from scratch like that. She probably films a bunch of these in a week and feeds the kids the leftovers for the rest or the week or something bc there’s no way in hell she’s making fresh bread and cheese before school unless she wakes up at 2:00am💀
idk I don't take this as her actually preparing every meal like this lol It could be just a branding thing starting videos with "my toddler asked for" whenever she wants to showcase a recipe

Apparently Lucky washes the dishes and plays with the kids. My granddad didn't wash a dish, cook, do laundry, iron, bathe the kids or change a diaper. It boggled my grandma's mind that a man would even know how to do that stuff. Sure, he could cook a few basic things but that was about it. She also prided herself on only ever taking two personal days in over 40 years of work at the sewing factory she worked at. It takes money but not like you're thinking. If you're only making one loaf, it's definitely a lot quicker. I work in a bakery, and it's about 6 hours start to finish for batches that make about 50 loaves of dough to sponge, rise, knead, shape, and bake. However, the entire reason I applied to the bakery was because I found a 1 hour white bread recipe that I was obsessed with and making every other day. More like an hour and a half with bake time, I think? I haven't made bread at home much since getting hired but damn, it was so easy and I would just eat the whole loaf in a day. So much of that is down time, too. Like, yeah, it takes a long time to rise and to bake, but those are hands-off stages where you can be doing other things. What really stunned me, though, was that he didn't just... Do it by hand? I'd want to die after that much running around for one loaf of bread.

I love Nora’s videos. Cooking from scratch isn’t actually that hard. And it’s nice to see someone do it and show us how easy it really is. I’ve been cooking from scratch way more recently. Food tastes better, I know what’s in my food and it’s really not that hard. Just takes time.
Chickens don’t get pregnant but it’s ok love you babe! 🥰🤭
this made me giggle i was hoping someone else caught that lmao
i spent a good amount of time looking for this comment thank you
The way I said "I don't think this man knows how chickens work" out loud to myself lol
The dedication was strong in this one! I applaud you sir👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
the commitment to this video is next level 👏👏👏 would love to see part 2 dinner
You trying to hold down the mixer and your drink swirling on the table is killing me
I laughed so hard at you holding onto the bowl while it was mixing 😂 great video
"It's giving... o-blong" 🤣 you are everything Andrew ❤️
The dedication he has! I really appreciate it you don’t really see that with other youtubers
Please do another one of these!!😂😂so good!
Love all your cooking videos! I just came to say, you gave me the inspiration I needed to make a homemade pb&j. I went gluten free a few years ago and finding bread I enjoy is rough but omg you made me feel like I can totally make my own simple ingredients ❤️ and I never knew how easy but butters and jams are!!!! Thank you can’t wait to see your next fun kitchen adventure 🥰
your antics with that machine truly instilled the fear of God within me
16:45-16:50 is me on a day to day basis hanging on for dear life
😂
I laughed so hard
Your energy, the dedication mixed with the level of goofiness… this is everything. Thank you so much!!
This was my first time seeing one of your videos (thanks algorithm for the recommendation!) Let me tell you, that dough punch... immediately followed. You're hilarious! ❤
“Sun is going down and lunch is still not ready” got me in tears 🤣💀
every time you say ‘and now we wait’ i still expect you get up on a counter with a leg in the air and have ‘milkshake’ by kelis play in the background and that’s on being an OG viewer
You just made my day struggling with your bread hook thingy😂 hanging on making it work. I literally just had my juicer break on me and I was all mad. Watching you all determined just made it worth it😁
the fact that you drove 50 minutes away to get a dough hook...when its super easy to knead dough with your hands...lmao
Your vibes being the complete opposite of Nara’s is what got me. Going for serene to just. Chaos.
Everything you made looks so good! Also love that lunch was ready at like midnight 😂
the lemon juice is the pectin basically. not actual pectin but the acid in it does the same thing pectin would
I started making homemade bread the last couple months. There’s two recipes I use, one where I have to start the night before and one where from beginning to end it takes about two hours. But BOTH are no-knead recipes. SO easy and delicious. Highly recommend a no-knead bread recipe 😅
the look of concern while washing his hands is SENDING ME!!
I cannot recommend a bread machine more! Truly the best kitchen appliance!
andrew: “why would you name your child bubbles?”
summer walker: 👁️👄👁️
it's so she can have 2 more daughters and name them blossom and buttercup
The overworked dough *fighting* for dear life 😂😂
This video makes me so happy - and also I feel validated for kinda loving Nara and her content. Like it’s so fun making things from scratch, I just usually do the long stuff on weekends to use throughout the week lol. Ty Andrew for your commitment to that bread too 😂
do you think she promotes the tradwife life? i literally only watch her videos from other people but it seems like she just made food from scratch and dresses up as like a schtick
Bread is one of those things where practice makes perfect. The more you make it, the easier and less time intensive it becomes.
seriously, I made pizza for the first time 2 years ago when I wasn't working and was on a budget and almost had a break down following the recipe and kneading the dough, now I know the measurements and timing for prep like nothing. and invested in a stand mixer to take the intensity out lmao
Literally all I can picture is Nara Smith off camera eating Cheezits like a trash panda 😅😂
Yes. Hot Cheetos!😂
With her nails like chopsticks
16:53 His dedication😭I love him for that tho like he was DETERMINED to make it work
I don't like any tradwife content especially from Nara Smith for a few reasons, but I love Andrew so here I am 😅
Same it looks fun when he does it😂
Because your lazy and bitter
She’s not a tradwife… she’s literally a model and has admitted she uses Nannies the hate train is actually crazy when there’s real tradwives being horrible online
@@ambersmith2612i know this is an old comment but i cannot shut up when i have something to say…
but does it really matter that she’s not a real tradwife if she is still profiting off of and promoting the image of being one? that’s the entire problem with tradwife content, not that these women exist as possible tradwives, but that they push these ideas(and rather unrealistic versions of a tradwife lifestyle) as something cool and trendy so young girls fall back into these ideals that any feminist movement have been trying to push us away from.
2:00 Andrew's lack of understanding of what an egg is is actually iconic😭😭
Well, he did say people are really removed from their food so that kind of made his point. lol!
I admire that she cares about putting healthy food in her children
I love the dates on peanut butter and jelly. Some order in chaos 😄
This dude is hilarious!!!! I’ve never chuckled this much watching a cooking video😂😂😂
Me either!! So fun!! 💜🙌😁
he got in his car and DROVE SOMEWHERE to buy a dough hook, for us. He did great. SUBSCRIBED.
😭 Only user 1/2 Cup - 1/2 Cup + 1 TBSPN of water per Cup of Flour for bread making! 😂 I was screaming at the phone when you put 2 1/2 cups of water.
Take a shot everytime Andrew says “Yall”😂
Love that you are entering your trad wife era, Andrew. x
For the sake of knowledge; a chicken doesn't need to be pregnant to lay eggs, they just do that no matter what. The eggs come out either fertilized or not based on whether there's a rooster around.
Always love your chaotic energy Andrew 😅❤
"Woooowww, 7 hours later.." Lol. Adorable, love your videos, Andrew!
for the dough you just have to mix until it a ball not add more flour it will make the dough hard and not stretchy
Andrew is a health inspectors dream writing the dates on everything❤
This is such a good idea! Can’t wait to watch ❤
IM CRYING IM OBSESSED with you wanting to be reborn as her kid literally MEEEEE
I'm definitely following you now, this was amazing
I immediately started making a pb&j cause it sounded so good 😂
ANDREW! YOU ARE THE BEST! Another cross over i did not know I needed haha
Andrew holding the mixing bowl up to the hook a la the ghost pottery scene
some people are just really good at keeping neat while cooking. i work in a group home and we usually cook frozen, easy to make or premade things for the kids, but we good big meals for holidays. My coworker made a turkey, mashed potatoes, and a homemade pie and pie crust without making a mess on her cloths or the kitchen. She cleaned as she went and took her time, was careful and efficient. I had food on my sleeves and shirt and my pants, it was a mess
Never been so excited to watch a video
This was such fun. I enjoyed watching this. I commend you for your determination and stamina to see it through to the end!
I love that the kiddo put her lunch order on first thing when she woke up lol 😆 anyone else catch that?
This is my first video of yours I’ve run into and I’ve been laughing my ass off the entire time. I love the commitment. Definitely subscribing
