They call it "Block Shopping". It's this idea of lifting (copy & pasting) the settings from either a GoT or one of the Factory Presets. It's actually pretty smart and something I hadn't really considered viable until recently. Definitely works well and is a HUGE timesaver.
Awesome, thanks for the settings, I will nick them also. Carol Ann is my favourite amp in Fractal, along with the Morgan AC20, Matchless DC-30, Hiwatt DR103 and more and more daily, the Soldano SOLO 88 CLEAN . Cheers.
I was in the same place since the AF2 came out. After 6 years of GASing over it, I finally pulled the trigger. It's a big investment up front - especially if you need an FRFR, or monitors - although I used headphones for the first month with the unit. Plus there's the Foot Controller you'll want at some point and of course a rack case. However, now the FM9 and FM3 exist. Had they been around when I was buying, I would've gone with the FM9. The Fractal actually feels like a real amp. Almost all modelers sound good, but the FAS stuff just keeps getting better. All this to say - since I bought the AF3 rack mount unit 3 years ago, I haven't bought a single pedal, no amps, nothing but strings and an occasional new guitar. I don't even watch gear reviews anymore unless it's something that's in the FAS units. So, in a weird way, it's saved me money in the long run. Good luck.
Very sweet and very usable tones that sound better for final recorded production in my lug holes only personally, not a fan of overly produced slick tones at that level for live performance though, I'd love to share a few examples of my own on another gadget with an essential trick or two on my signal chain for live or recorded purposes, but I'm terrified I'd only start an inferno and a riot accidentally in the process ....any suggestions anyone?
Same in Toronto. So much Pro talent, so few places to play compared to when even i got paid 50 years ago. - still love guitars, just not very good. Best wishes to all❤
Oh WOW Brett tackles the Carol Ann amps. They are GREAT!!!!

The clean sound is so beautiful!!!!
Man, that is some sweet tone!
I had one (IIRC, 3-channel Tucana) years ago and this is reminiscent of that natural goodness.
@@JDHutson I'd love to try a real one someday. Thanks for watching, JD!

Amazing tones as always 👍

I seriously have been "this close" to an ill-advised AxeFX III purchase solely based on your generous free patches.....you don't make it easy!

I am getting errors trying to download the presets, the links don't work for some reason
BRILLIANT....Thanx!
thank you
Your Strat has 63 pickups in it? That's a lot of pickups! 😆
😅Yeah, it used to have 59s but I figured four more wouldn’t hurt.
I see what you did there 🤪
Will be a good unit for progressive rock appreciate feedback on my original guitar compositions

All that gear and not enough stage time. I stop buying. No great paying gigs in Cali. It's like people loss passion for live music
