Ariana’s hair is a step in the right direction! Just like others are saying more hair is needed to be blended in a bit but it looks alright! Soon enough she is going to discover the world of black hair and have a new hairstyle every 3 weeks. From sew-ins to box braids to natural hair. And if Ariana wants color without actually dying her hair she can do that with braids and sew ins. This is gonna be a fun journey to see! ❤️

I suggest taking Ariana where the middles take Brinley to have her styles done. They will be able to blend in the extensions well as well as teach her all she needs to know about her hair type
I’m not convinced Ariana is too in love with it. She does look really good with long hair but as a qualified hairdresser I would definitely recommend more tracks to blend it and look more natural.

Love the extension but try next time to get microlinks they are amazing and they look natural also maybe add more hair on top so it can look more fuller also getting a sewed in weave are amazing too! Also no disrespect to this hairdresser but maybe try a different black hairdresser around Arizona maybe one that private that can really blend the hair with ur shorter hair yk and it’s good ur getting ur done by someone black cause then they can help you more with different styles of hair and help grow your hair to be more healthy
EDIT- i hope Ariana doesn't take what any of us said in the comments as negative she should def go back to them and try new hairstyles seems like the hairdresser and other hairdresser knew what they were doing its just next she can tell the same or a new one that if she wants more extensions to just add more to it so it can hella natural, cause I feel like this place is a new step into the right directions in finding out more/' discovery more on her hair (Ariana even said herself she would def be going back) and the beauty of different styles that come with being black and having beautiful curly hair and how to protect it and keep it healhty!!!

@@arianad5690 yes I think it’s a start cuz I think she only went white hairdresser that didn’t know how to do curly hair and she only get her hair straightened so it’s good going to a black hairdresser just next time go to someone who can do different extensions like micro or weaves sew in so it can look natural there’s a lot of hair that can blend so well with extensions
@@gabbyunique. yeah, I'm from South Africa where it is really easy to find good hair dressers for a variety of hair types (it seems very difficult for her to find good hairdresses for her hair where she lives)
@@arianad5690 right where I live too it’s easy for me to find it as well and ppl in my family do hair too but since u know she grew in a household where every girl had straight hair and she was like the odd one out with curly hair it prob made her want to keep it straight to match her sisters which isn’t bad it’s just u got teach ur kid about different type and since Ariana has like 3b/3c hair it’s very important to take care of it hopefully one day she’ll learn how amazing getting braids and passion twist and different type of protective styles will be hella helpful in future

Life lesson boys: Whenever a woman does something to change her appearance, get really excited and supportive about it. Even if you can't for the life of you work out what has changed.

I learnt this lesson the hard way. I'd come home from work and my wife would say, "So, what do you think?". I knew then that I had mere seconds to work out what had changed and come up with a favourable comment. A quick "oh, that's nice." Might buy me some time but it paid to be super observant.

For her first time trying this isn’t bad and I’m glad she’s going to stylist who understand her hair! Overtime she will figure out different techniques and styles she can do and types of extensions!

I like her new look I’m referring to the people giving her tips on types of extensions to go forward with and before she was going to stylist who primarily only worked with white people so yes it is a good thing she went to someone who understands her hair lol, not rude at all I think she looks good! Getting into extensions can be a complicated road at first and can take time to find the things that work best for you, because everyone is different that’s all I was trying to say! :)

I’m sure it has been suggested to keep taking Arianna to a black hairdresser. I know that you don’t want any of your children to feel different, but you have to respect that her hair is different than that of her her siblings.

True about 'special' hair.. I am Mexican (live in México) and have really full thick hair. I can't go to just any hairdresser and cut my hair, I have to go to the 'right' one which, for the moment has been an expensive one because, the rest (have gone to many in over 20 yrs) and they leave it in a way I cannot style it.
@@sochitlreyes3259 I get it, I am a mix of Cherokee and Irish I have thick dark brown almost black hair but it has a bit of wave to it. My hairdresser says she hated doing my hair at first because it was so thick but now she loves to play with it. 🤣

She looks beautiful as ever. I would however suggest that next time her natural hair and hair extensions will blend in more better. Her natural hair is quite thick compared to the extensions and it is noticeable that she has extensions in. It's still pretty though and if she's really happy with it then that's the main thing (: x

Just a thought! But Ariana should try box braids!!! I do that to my hair as a protective style for my natural hair and it keeps me away from damaging and issuing heat, and I love how they look!
Yesss different protective styles would be helpful to her hair and prob make a big impact on it
She would be so cute with box braids. Her hair would grow long too. She has a curl type that would be long within a year with the right products and less heat styling.

Ariana needs more extensions throughout her hair and it should be blended more! She looks better with the dark color, that was the best thing about the hair transformation! Just better extension blending for a thicker more natural look.

For her first experience with weave/extensions, it's decent. It's all about trial and error. I do agree that it could have been blended better but if Ariana likes it I love it. It's not on my head so my opinion doesn't really matter.
Before she died it her hair looked fried from the bleach where she had it blonde and I think thats why its not blending well. You may be right too but i noticed that at the beginning of the video. Which i think once that grows out it will blend better.
Yeah it's not my hair so it's what she is happy with. I'm just broke so if i paid for something that costs a Iot, I expect it to be good. Ariana's only job was to sit in the seat. It's sad that she has to go through trial and error till she finds a person who can work well with her hair.
The fact that her hair was bleached before shouldn't have hindered the process for a good stylist.
Exactly, this is one of the most mature and sweetest comments 🙂. I have more or less the same hair texture as Arianna's. It took me years to understand my hair texture and what's a Nay or a Yay. I am 27 and I coloured my hair a lot over the years. I've cut it, it grew back. Haircare is a journey.
@@arianad5690 Yes I agree. Also the trial and error is for her parents as well. She has a completely different texture and what her hair needs is different from the rest of the fambam. It’s a learning experience for everyone and I’m glad they are all invested.
@@rushcka_s.a9791 Yep. I’m 24 and it’s still a struggle. The top portion of my hair likes certain products while the back I’m still trying to figure out. Currently my back seems to not want to retain moisture so it’s frustrating work in progress and I’m also used to cutting my hair. I haven’t cut/shaved it since late 2020 ☺️

Girl I'm so happy for you! This is such a huge step to getting your hair happy and healthy and trying different looks! It was SO sweet how Brody asked so nicely for some m&ms and she gave them all to him. It's the small things like that, that shows what real kindness and respect between siblings is. Also Jake and Maxs responses were so expected but so funny 🤣😂
Her hair looks good for a temporary look. Next time she should a full sew-in in the back(about 2 bundles) and can leave the top of her hair out so she can style as desired. Guarantee she'd love it more and get 100%human hair, natural color, that she can wash, curl, and it has minimal shedding

Me too, I wish the stylist would have did a smaller amount of leave out though, and thicker density bundles. To much leave out makes the hair not blend as well as it could.
Ariana would do so well with a braided sew in, and just a little leave out at the top. Maybe a little leave out in the back too, if she wants to be able to wear a ponytail.

I think they could’ve done better, it’s nice but the extension don’t blend in well you can tell that they’re there but, if Ariana likes it then that’s ok 💛
That’s exactly what I was thinking. They could’ve at least added more throughout her hair.
She just has such thick hair, she needs more higher on her head and her natural hair layered a bit so the bottom edge isn’t so separated from the extensions.

for anyone saying it looks thin: Ariana has a lot of hair AND it’s textured, both of which would require a lot more hair added, and is a lot heavier on the head. it’s her first time getting extensions, she needs to get used to them and not give herself terrible headaches and neck pain

I’m not sure if the shop that Brinley goes to also does any type of extensions (sew in, micro links, etc) but it may be worth a try. They do braids though and I definitely think Ariana would look pretty in some knotless box braids!

I don't think they did Ariana's hair correctly. It doesn't look realistic at all and you can tell where real hair ends and where the fake hair starts. Her hair just wasn't done very well. Maybe try at a new place witch focuses on Ari's hair type. No hate though, love your family.

I have thick hair and had extensions put in, i hated it. To het it to look natural you would have to put so many in and its heavy. The upkeep is time consuming and with her natural hair bring so curly I cant imagine its going to be fun on wash day.
I will say though it suits her longer and she has her sisters who I’m sure will help her.

Ariana, your hair looks amazing and I am so glad you like it. There are a lot of comments saying how it could look better but please do not let them put you off. As you get used to the style you will probably notice others who have extensions and how some look like a much fuller head of hair and how they use different techniques. If you see some one whose hair looks good ask them questions so you know what you are looking for in future. You are a beautiful young lady who could have a completely bald head and still look stunning.

I don’t want her to see a lot of the comments on here and instantly think it looks bad because it doesn’t, it suits her lovely and she looks more herself! Love to see the growth and change in Arianna! My hair is thick, heavy, wavy and at my waist line and still growing! Long hair can be a bit much especially sweating but I love it. Also Max your response is exactly how I would have been, it was perfect 😂

The 2 things that struck me the most in this video is that Brody said 'I always notice when...' knowing where being on high alert can stem from, made my heart skip. He seems like such a sweet and lovable boy. And when Ariana said: 'That's a good skill to have Brody', made me aware that she picked up your style of positive confirmation and turning things into character-building and positive reinforcement. I'm from the Netherlands, so I'm not sure if my Englisch is good enough to reflect my thoughts about those 2 comments, but they both really where .... phoeh... I'm not crying.... ;-)

She looks beautiful with the hair color and longer hair but I do agree it’s not put in well and not blended ... I would suggest going to a salon that specializes in extensions. It may cost a little more but it would be worth it for her :) Majority of the Mall salons are basic salons that are not experienced with extensions. 😬

She looks beautiful :) I think there should have been a few medium layered pieces so there weren't just really short and really long, but you can still do that. Just go back and ask. You'll have to pay for more hair, but they shouldn't charge you a service fee for correcting a mistake.

When you guys were saying hair extensions last week I thought you guys were saying like braids/weave but that looks cute as well maybe she could also use dry shampoo at the ends to fluff it out and blend it in more to her natural hair but I love it ( I hope one day she gets/try’s out braids it would look so 🥰)

My girls have the same hair. When they were younger I just let them wash and go. Just shampoo and little conditioner. i let their curls do their own things. Brinley might need more moisturise, but should go naturally curly.

Does Ariana use hair curling cream? I have similar hair to hers and it can get crazy! I brush my hair right after the shower and then put curling cream and twist/scrunch my hair and let it air dry. I recommend the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, or the Dove Shaping Butter cream.
I don't think it will work. She needs a product packed with silicons to camouflage the fact that her hair is completely fried. There's no repairing dead hair sadly.. Only cover up can be done😐
