UAD is always like that. The only way to buy them is when they do deep sales on bundles. At the moment it's 199 for a Custom 2 bundle. But give it time, or Black Friday and can probably get two for 99. They often hike the price before a deep sale too, I guess to report deeper percentage discounts. So, could go back to 99 on sale soon.
Who bought the Eventide H9 Max will get H9 Plugins Bundle for free. just for reference. If I Buy UAFX the same hardware model then I can get the plugin for free, I think I'll buy the hardware. BTW, making a computer editor for UAFX Pedals like the plugin also make the users happy.
$163 for a single amp plug-in? Seriously? It does not sound that much better than a clean app from a neural DSP plug-in or a line 6 helix. I don’t understand their price point?
You can get it for $40 with the “UAD select” deal
Way too expensive!!
I love UAD and their products, but this plugin is a joke compared to the real thing. I sold my Voxbox after comparing the hardware and plugin versions and could barely tell a difference. I wouldn't even bother doing that with this plugin-I'll pick it out in a blind test within seconds. The tone here sounds digital-lacking warmth, too much high end, and thin. Sure, it's better than a DI, but that's not the point. Search UA-cam for "65 deluxe amp tone" and then tell me this even comes close.
The don't work on reaper!!!!!!!!!
They sure do!
@UniversalAudio no they dont. The vst2 works only on luna and the vst3 is not working properly . Hire better programmers 🤷
@@marcodelledonne2118 Ours is VST3 and worked perfectly in Reaper.
Maybe if you never heard a tube amp....? Sounds crap to me (sorry)
Too expensive
