They are all included in Spark!! Fantastic. Hope they will release OX Stomp as well soon, and a pedal sync of the presets would be very cool if technically possible… 🎉 Love the user interface!
I‘ve just tried this one and i am amazed how strongly it reacts to the different pu‘s on my guitar (modded nighthawk w/ seymour duncans), then i slapped some hitsville chamber on top of it and boom.. amazing sound.. well done UA
I’m happy this finally happened but… UA Pedal owners should get the Plugin that they own for free… or at least a code for heavy discount. A $400 pedal investment should include a golden ticket to open the Unison version of the plugin in Luna for free… and also control the pedal directly from the DAW!
@@krazyhandskyle Unison is only on "Apollo" interfaces (Not UA Volt), and it only works with some of the plugins - mostly preamps and a handful of guitar/bass amp plugins that run on the Apollo.
Great idea to have had the fantastic Jack doing the demo, his playing is top tier and always so musical ! Would have been nice to mention Rory Gallagher about that Treble Booster boost in the normal mode
LOOOOVE this. Sounds close to my VOX with the Blue Alnico Speaker. I will always use my amp, but for quick recordings this works amazing for me. Thank you again UAD for bring shine to my recording studio in Spain.
I hope they release the phenomenal plugins like the 610, 1084 etc COMPLETE and less guitar simulators.. Some play guitar but all are producers in general! 😉
@@jesseowenastin Ahh - that's super bizarre :/ I'd assume they'd release them as DSP ones too because I just don't get why they wouldn't but we'll see...
But no Unison capability? Pointless, if you cannot track with this through Console. Why on earth would UA make this without Unison capability? I am deeply irritated by UAD no longer supporting Apollo/DSP capability in their new plugin releases and it feels like they are simply going for whatever is the easiest profit margin, which is not the way this company used to run. It feels less bespoke and really tacky as a business model, to abandon loyal customers who invested in Apollo DSP technology particularly for the Unison features.
Yes it's a full simulation of a mic'd amp/cabinet. Any additional processing you do is to taste. These are just plugins that run in your DAW - nothing special about them other than they sound good.
Great sounding plug-ins. Newby question, can you run two plug-ins at once in your DAW so that you had the Dream coming out of the left & the Ruby out of the right?
Since one instantion of LION took me 1/3 - 1/2 CPU @64 samples latency (Presonus S1 / AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX) I doubt I could use it wo problems and often freezing tracks, powering off plugins etc. Also, it can be the problem why UA did not release UNISON version - too CPU hungry.
REsized the window to 200% in lion and Cant scroll in reaper and cant get it back !! Cant use the plugin anymore. Help ? How to get back, Screen resouliton in windows doesent work. Is there a folder that saves the settings ?
Where are all the native versions of the plugins that UAD's existing victims are waiting for? UAD told us that they'd be releasing them every month or so. There've not being doing that for a while, I wonder why? Too busy trying to sell us back the code we already bought, repackaged in a different GUI.
Okay, so I tried the Ruby again and this time the cpu usage went way down. So it was an issue with my computer and not the Ruby being too cpu intensive. I guess it may have been the anti-virus software and everything else that runs in the background (which is another reason I hate having to be online to use software I paid for in good faith).
There are some notable influencers that wouldn't use/ review the pedals and sent them back. For good reason, they don't sound very good. These plugins are the same code and don't sound good either. Jack is a good player and as we all know, a good player can sell well. UAD, what an 'orrible lot.
Absolutely pathetic that you have to make an account in 2 places and log in somewhere to use the plugin - an automatic no for me. Your plugin also forces users to agree to install PACE - totally unrelated to the plugin itself. Makes you wonder, why do you need so much control over people who just want to buy a product...
i've never heard a guitarist play melodies quite like jack. wow. i love my ruby and it was always a pipe dream that they'd make a plugin.
This sounds amazing but I can't help but think it would have sounded even better if it dropped on UAD-2 with the unison tech.
They are all included in Spark!! Fantastic. Hope they will release OX Stomp as well soon, and a pedal sync of the presets would be very cool if technically possible… 🎉

OX Stomp plugin would be awesome!

FYI the plugin is not a unison or even DSP plug, it's a "native" plugin only that runs in the DAW not accelerated by Apollo DSP.
@kevinlong4657 I'm not familiar with UA interfaces as I have only used Scarlett Focusrite. Do all UA infaces use Unison?
Dude, just plug the fucking pedal to your interface

It’s about time you did an ac30
Finally a new amp!!
It sounds great, but it seems you're neglecting DSP plugins. I like to save CPU using it.
Have fun with that. Might be time to upgrade your CPU. DSP is way too expensive and limiting.
It's not 2001.
I have an M1 Max Studio. I'm doing alright, mate. I like to avoid committing things and tracking with near-zero latency sometimes late in a mix.
Oh no, Jack has succumbed and received the mark of the beast.
please tell me a uad 2 unison version is in the works. I know it's high cpu but all 3 of these amp sims are absolutely amazing.
I heard a Ruby Pedal demo, and it sounds great. Those of you who tried both the pedal and the plugin: do they sound the same?
I'd buy the DSP version!
where?
@ From UAD, if it existed.
Lovely!! Waiting for the Unison DSP version…
WHY NO UNISON VERSION? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

wish they made a real-time version of these new amps :\
What do you mean 'real-time'? can you not use the native ones in Console?

I was thinking they should give the pedal to those who have the plugin
Dude from Peach? Niiiice! 🤘🏻
Jaaaaack! ❤
Sounds great
I’d heard these new amp plugins were available as Spark or non-Spark versions. If they are, what licensing software is used for the non-Spark version?
One day, one day I'll have this one

they've been abandoning loyal customers for a while now. You're no use to them if you bought their stuff already, the beast needs fresh blood.
It's been a hard day's night... ❤
peachy! does it also simulate what's on the other end of the mic - i.e the pre-amp, or do you have to add that yourself?
You drop them in Console if you have an Apollo, or just earlier in your chain if not
@@Arthur_My_Dear these arent DSP plugins. They are native - they don't run in Console.

That’s some very nice playing.
Which song he play on the first default sound with a Les Paul? Nice melody, I can hear the harmony along with it in my head!
Isn’t this a little too bright or thin? My Vox AC30s didn’t sound like this recorded.
UAD, don’t forget that a lot of people only using your hardware because of unison plugins…
And if you buy the pedal you can use the unison plugins and the Ruby!
Anyone here compared these new UAD amps (the 3) to the UAD2 Marshalls, Suhr and other emus? Thanks!
Sounds like this version has the crackle present in the pedal.
