Love this!!! Freaky to see people standing so close to the recovery…. I have seen tow ropes and winch cable break and sling back!
Synthetic rope doesn't store the kinetic energy that steel cable does when under load, so the risk of bystanders getting injured is a lot lower.
@@dieseldrax still can kill. No use of dampners. Bloke called Ronny Dahl has some UA-cam videos on the subject where they show the injuries.

Me and a buddy just got back from Moab. Also did the Shafer Trail with a Jeep. Also did Devil’s Backbone/Dino tracks/etc with the UTVs. Both terrifying but so awesome! Incredible place so much to do can’t wait to go back 🏜️
We did this crazy ‘4 wheeling’ back in the ‘70’s. Probably why I have chronic back problems now, but I wouldn’t change those fun times for anything. Great vlog!

Cannot get enough of your adventures in Moab, one of the coolest places on earth. Pretty sure at 12:00 you were almost directly across from Thelma and Louise Point, that midlevel plateau underneath Dead Horse Point. Where they drove off is slightly upriver behind you, where the cliff is directly above the river. Cheers, Rex

I came across your channel when I started searching more on van and Box truck conversions a year ago. I’m a retired Army vet and looking to do a yearlong trip across the country. Those caves are near a ton of Dino tracks. Back in ‘91 I used to explore all that area. Really cool stuff. Lots of Dino bones, too.

I am sorry that wan't a safe tow / winch, you should have safe blankets over the winch lines just incase the lines break. It did look a great adventure though and I would to do it.

Many years ago, I drove the White Rim trail in Moby, my white 1975 Ford LTD station wagon. A crazy thing to do, but the whale car performed well.

Nikki, just a little correction here.... You are surrounded by Dodge Wranglers and a Bronco. They stopped being Jeeps in 1986 when Chrysler bought AMC in order to ride the coattails of Jeep success and make up for Lee Iacocca's mistakes. We just spent a good few days in the San Rafael Swell just north of Moab. What an incredible place!
