My dream tour would be in a cabriolet, possibly a Morgan, in the highlands of north of Norway in - 20 celcius with the roof down and northern lights flapping over you.
I absolutely agree about lights. Even with 'off road' full beam halogens, visibility is rubbish. Shame rally LED lights are very expensive, no matter how cool my fiesta would look!
Really good video l totally agree the golf R driving experience would definitely be better then driving an electric vehicle also in years to come this golf R will go up in value that makes it even more exciting just as much as driving the thing great video again keep the hot hatch ones coming👏🏾👍🏾
It’s far from tired, my Wife has had 7 and 7.5R I would have one every day over the Honda, but Mk8 is flawed with ridiculous screen and lack of slider heating that is not backlit..on 24 hour test the screen froze three times, the quality of interior was inferior so we did not buy, the Honda was too much in front wheel drive on a damp day, and ride was too hard..buy dynamics of Golf drive was excellent...so far from tired
Blah blah blah....Honda......blah blah blah.....Type R......blah blah blah. Fact is I've owned well over 20 recent VWs, Jetta's, GTIs and on. They have been perfectly fine in reliability and drive so much better than the average Honda. They are also much stronger. A '21 Honda Civic rear ended my daughters '19 Jetta a few months back - the Honda was destroyed and totaled. The Jetta just needed a new rear bumper and brace. I'll never stick anyone I know in a Honda. My new R arrives next month and could have gotten anything in the category.
@@alanwayte432 I think you may have had a bad one Alan. I’ve had mine for over 12mths now and my screen has never frozen.slow and laggy at times especially from cold but it’s fine the rest of the time. I still love the car and as a daily driver I don’t think I’d go for anything else. 😊

Crazy that a reversing camera isn't standard at this price point.
Maybe in Europe but in the US all cars made 2018 and newer are required to have a backup camera in order to be sold in the US
How about one last Scirocco R before the demise of the ICE, maybe even with a hybrid engine . . . now that would be an emotional car 👍😎

A tired product... With poor reliability... I would choose a Honda Civic Type R every day...

Well the Golf was never meant to be a luxurious car. It's always been a fun hatchback at a decent price.
