Hello friends! 🙂 I built a small crosscut sled for a table saw. ► Tutorial and Plans available: allflavorworkshop.com/simple-crosscut-sled/ ► ALL Woodworking Plans: allflavorworkshop.com/woodworking-plans/ 🛠 All My Tools & Gear: allflavorworkshop.com/tools-and-resources/ Thanks! Nice job! Great for what it’s designed for. My thorough dislike of wing nuts would cause me to swap them for plastic knobs ……small change but for me it’s a must…..
Question:? you draw a line completely over the entire surface , and then you use a fence on the table saw to cut that piece of wood Why do you need that line ? isn't it just measuring the distance of the fence to the blade and saw it off ?
Pretty much yes, you don't need the line per say. I use it to make sure I am really cutting where I want. When you're changing blades your fence is not entirely calibrated and there can be discrepencies
Thank you for the video, I really enjoyed watching. I have taken some of your ideas to apply to my own projects 👍. I loved the whole way you worked through the process. Thanks again 😊
@@AllFlavorWorkshop I like that it has no base. Sleds can be heavy but if you have a good saw top with a zero-clearance insert, there’s no reason to have a base for doing crosscuts - I guess you would for miters though.
Very nice design! Is it possible to create this sled with standard pine planks instead of plywood? I have a lot of pine remains and plywood is available to me only in large expensi5ve boards. For the runners I have wallnut.
Great project as always man! I'm gonna make one. But really, buy an impact driver and keep that screwdriver getting dust somewhere in your workshop, haha.
This contraption is prone to parallelogramming as there is no support at the far end! Not structurally sound!

Too bad you are unable to talk...you could have given instruction to the steps you were taking. Some were not clear at all...I guess if one is just looking for entertainment this would work.

This is very cool and not as bulky as a regular sled.
thank you

Thank you Tim. much appreciated! 😀
Nice! Love the minimalist design.
Glad you like it, thanks Rusty :)

Brilliant jig, dude! Really fantastic work! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you so much 😃
I really appreciate it, Stay safe!
Thank you well done
Thank you too!
So simple yet so effective 👍
Thank you, David. Works great ;)
Sadly it appears wobbly - notice the gouge at the bottom of the sled (at 8:32) after the initial cut.
Nice work but why not just get a decent Miter Square??
A decent miter square would definitely work as well. I guess its about how much you want to spend on it and if you're up for the fun of making one :)
Not sure I missed it, but do you have cut sheets for all the pieces of your jigs? These are amazing, great work.
Hello Tommie, not yet. I am working on the plans and I will be publishing those on the website: allflavorworkshop.com/
Bear with me ;)
Very clean and precise ! Subbed 👍👍
Thank you :)
Very nice design! Is it possible to create this sled with standard pine planks instead of plywood? I have a lot of pine remains and plywood is available to me only in large expensi5ve boards. For the runners I have wallnut.
Hello :) Thank you. And I believe you can. Pine would not be as durable as plywood but it will work. Just make sure the planks are straight. 👍
Thank you for the video.
Where can I find the dimensions to buy or you don't have any posted?
Hi Nikos, I will be sharing the guide on my webpage. Please bear with me :)
This is a great saw but is there any way of quitting it down
Hello :) By quitting down you mean lower rpm?
Yeah.....move the microphone to Timbuktu 😢
Great job 👏
thank you :)

Haha, thanks! Will do 😉
