well the show IS being produced way too fast so...I mean...yeah. it's a good show i love it but...i reaaaaally needs to SLOW down on it's plot. it's way too much to absorb and understand at once. plus with the character design changes and voice actor changes it's a LOT of change from the pilot people KNOW the show for. Confusing for many.

Hell's inhabitants are weak to angelic/holy power. Practically powerless to them. Lucifer despite being a Fallen Angel, still has all his power of a Seraphim, the most powerful and highest class of Angel. That makes him Hell's unrivaled ruler. He's just a lighthearted and goofy guy, but he's genuinely the most powerful being in all of Hell
And he is top 2 of heaven, he could beat adam easily

It's actually a legitimately good use of profanity precisely because it's actually shocking. Most of the other characters, Charlie included, swear like sailors on leave, which of course makes any profanity they drop lack a lot of it's weight. Yet given that I think this is Alastor's _first_ official use of profanity, if you don't count the web comic prequel, it hits much harder since it's such an ooc moment

The last couple of episodes, we have been seeing small, but very noticeable slips in Alastor.
Alastor literally walked up to Lucifer and said "Your daughter calls me daddy too." and then WAR happened. XD

I was so shocked when I saw her! I guess that's why we can't see her in hell

My theory is Alastor is in debt to Lilith
MY theory is he KILLED Lilith. They’ve both been gone the same amount of time, only HE has returned. Plus we know Alastor is of similar strength to Stolas, who’s been called nearly as strong as Lucifer.
Stolas is not comparable to Lucifer. Stolas ranks below the sins who rank below Lucifer.

Maybe she is planning something and is hidden. Also the reason for Alastor helping Charlie is still unknown, it would make sense he was sent by someone to care for her.

I fully expected Lucifer to be your typical non supportive dad who's super emotionally distant from their kid and turns out to be a major obstacle. And yesh, he tries to dissuade Charlie at first, but it's ti protect her. the Devil is actually not that bad. You can tell he's really trying to have a connection with Charlie and genuinely cares about her. He's honestly kind of adorable. I love how often Vivienne subverts our expectations with this show.

I've been suspecting he has sold his soul or had a deal with Lilith before all of this because they disappeared around the same time. And it is the only reason he's helping Charlie but didn't expect for her to make a deal with her soul or something.

If you notice that Lilith and Alastor has disappeared for 7 years but the moment Charlie asks for the mum's help in the pilot episode, Alastor appears on the hotel's doorsteps. Definitely a coincidence. Won't be surprised Alastor is under Lilith's leash like what Husker mentioned, which would explain why he's not scared or intimidated by anyone, even Lucifer. So I'm guessing Lilith sent Alastor to make the hotel a success and support Charlie like a stepdad unlike Lucifer who doesn't support Charlie's endeavor. However Alastor may have other plans later.

I’m so in love with Lucifer that I’m going to reread Paradise Lost with him in mind.
I love how Alastor is actively trying to get under Lucifer’s skin something I doubt many would ever try
Knowing that Adam spilled the beans on everything, especially Vaggie being an angel, should make the others question important things will cause trouble
I absolutely love how they depicted Lucifer. Charlie and Lucifer's song absolutely blew me away with how much the voice actors embody these roles. They passionately put their heart and soul into said songs and vocals. I absolutely love how they depicted Lucifer as a caring and loving father who, albeit he has trouble connecting to his daughter and is a bit of a goofball, still loves Charlie no matter what and wants to believe in her vision. Still, he sees himself in her and doesn't want her crushed under Heaven's laws/ruthlessness. But despite how scared he is and how much of a failure he feels like, his daughter brings out his hope once again and sees his dream live on through her vision to redeem sinners, so of course, he'd be willing to do anything he can to support her and try and convince Heaven sinners can be redeemed. Jeremy Jordan and Erika Henningson both did a phenomenal job in this episode. I also love how Alastor is the ultimate troll in this show as he already SAVAGELY roasted Vox, and the fact he has the guts to roast Lucifer in front of his own daughter (who seemingly goes along with it) indeed shows how little f***s Alastor gives. Complete legend.
I know Sera is afraid of her and Emily ending up like Lucifer but why doesnt heaven just end the extermination???? Since God is the most powerful being in the 3 realms wouldnt he be able to stop any rising from hell that could put heaven in danger? By that logic Sera is sinning and should be kicked out from heaven because by creating the extermination she is lacking faith and not beleiving in God’s power

My theory is that god somehow is unaware of what the angels are doing, but what’s more odd is that he himself hasn’t been mentioned or even referenced once so I’m honestly wondering if there even is god in this show or if heaven is ruled by a council of angels which I would be bummed to see.

@@mattericarichards8462 I also thought God could be unaware of the extermination but that falls apart since one of God’s characteristics is that he is omnipotent and omnipresent so he HAS to know about the extermination and end it if he wanted to. Regarding there not being a God in the hazbin/helluva universe I could guess the 7 Cardinal Virtues are ruling heaven like the 7 Deadly Sins do in hell, but personally I cannot see that , the main reason Lucifer was casted out of heaven was because he thought he could be like God, in this universe it was because he had a different plan for humans, which can still be taken as thinking he was equal to God since he had nothing to do with the destiny of humans and then he was cursed by God himself for offering the fruit of good and evil to eve and then her to adam when GOD told them not to eat it, regarding Seras worry about Emily being kicked out of heaven, I dont understand why, she said she would be kicked if she started questioning, but she isnt questioning God, she is questioning Sera, an equal, and Adam and Lute who are way lower than her in the hierarchy, then why is Sera so afraid of questioning when she is the one who created and approved the extermination as a whole
@@mattericarichards8462 I think they might never mention God, or any of the main arc angels. Just put add ins like Sera and Emily...and go around the topic of god and divine laws...because people are too sensiticlve this days and they probably dont want to take that risk.

Eve became the Root of All Evil after eating the forbidden fruit. That`s kinda why Adam hates sinners and eats ribs in almost every scene because he misses her. Also, he probably loved Lute so much because she reminded him of pre-corruption Eve.

First time ive..ever heard alastor swear
This is just a fan theory but let me know what you think.
Theory 1: Relationship Alastor and LIlith(these are my assumptions)
I think Alastor may have had romantic feelings for Lilith. Based on how he stared and lingered on her photo in the pilot. But also because lilith and alastor are very similar. Both human souls that became powerful in hell. So alastor can relate more to lilith than most sinners. And based on lore lilith is known to be a beautiful, powerful, and manipulative demon. She may have convinced alastor to help her either by using romance or by using her overwhelming power to entice him and help her with the project.
Theory 2: Liliths goal
I think lilith’s end goal would be to fight the angels. But before she could do that she needs to be more powerful to reach that goal. So what I think she is doing now is trying to expand hell. To break down the walls of the pentagram and allow for more demons to enter and stay in hell. Doing so will power her up immensely especially her daughter and other demons like the 7 sins, overlords, even regular sinners.
Theory 3: why alastor?
There are a multitude of demons more powerful than alastor. Like the 7 sins and the goetia. Why wouldn’t lilith employ their services? Maybe she didnt ask for their assistance(assuming) because as we have seen from how the sins and goetia act they are selfish, uncontrollable, and would betray lilith to have the power for themselves.
Why not the other overlords like zestial and carmila? From episode 3 we can see zestial is very by the books and would not perform an action if there is no proof. Carmila would not act because that could endanger her and her daughter if it was found out.
Side note: Lucifer is so broken that he would not move a finger to help in this project. Plus he feels guilt for his actions that he can’t mentally muster up the strength to conspire against heaven.
I think she chose alastor for 2 reasons:
1. Alastor according to episode 5, was a powerful demon from the start and was able to topple high ranking overlords by himself(assuming). And by defeating these overlords he would have access to more powerful souls. What if lilith chose alastor because of his raw power and personality being very open to break even the rules of hell if he found it entertaining. Meaning out of all overlords he would be the most willing to help lilith.
2. In episode 2 we learn that alastor nearly defeated vox but then disappeared. Meaning lilith convinced alastor to join her at that time. Now based on alastor’s reaction in episode 5, episode 2, and in the comic alastor wouldn’t leave a fight until he crushes any demon that displeases him. He left the fight because lilith was able to entice him. This why I think romance was involved and the project being so grand made alastor willing to follow lilith for seven years.
(Assumption)
Lilith may have also fallen for alastor because they can relate being humans in their previous life. And because of how alastor acts like the canonical devil compared to lucifer, she might have found alastor to be more interesting. This probably explains why alastor is very hostile to lucifer. And this would definitely explain why he snapped when husk said alastor was on a leash. Maybe alastor didn’t like how husk described his relationship with lilith as being a dog with a leash.
I don’t think lilith has alastor under contract because based on his personality he would detest the very notion or idea of it.
And based on husk who was an overlord that signed a contract, his power has diminished. Husk no longer has his original power because of his contract with alastor. It wouldn’t make sense for alastor to have a contract but still be able to hold his power afterwards.
This a fan theory so don’t take it too seriously. But it definitely makes me excited for the future episodes.

So Alastor may in fact care about the hotel a LOT more than he lets on, and Lucifer doesn't want Charlie to get her hopes up because he knows how willing others are to shatter dreams. Finally getting to see how much Lucifer loves his daughter warms my heart so much I can't stand it lol.
Fun Fact: The female angel with white hair and bunny ears is Angel Dust`s sister who unlike him is an actual angel.
Jeremy Jordan voices Lucifer. Ironically, he voiced Light Yagami in the English Dub Album for the Death Note Musical(A mass murderer with a massive God Complex).
