Snooker Cue Action How To Cue Straight and Snooker Aiming Straight Cueing. Break From Life 3 Easy Steps Straight Cueing and Aiming Straight with a Straight Cue Action.
I am having a hard time about this problem, I kept thinking is it my hand movement that is wrong or my body position or both, will try to implement your tips, thanks, from Malaysia
Same! I hit some good angle shots but when it comes to straight shots, I tend to miss it especially when it’s on the diagonal axis of the table where the cue ball is a little far from the target ball
@@bigsqueeze7231aye friend of your wondering this works YES! It’s crucial in the steps before every shot IMO there’s at least 8-10 steps buts first thing first if you can’t hit the ball straight why are trying to play snooker etc master that first. Your body positioning how you hold the cue, do you understand the spin and how it effects the cue ball, but positioning posture are the biggest factors if you aim before shot like he’s doing you will most likely hit that shot than another just another beginner tryna hit the shot w/o this knowledge it will go to show in the shot then it will to cleary it s works it’s self don’t really need to do much besides small adjustments nd you need to train this get it faster nd memorize what your actually doing etc if at home when I play by myself if there’s a “Hard” shot so pass 45% mark line the shot up again and memorize what your doing so yoi can make small adjustments and can kinda "Sense" the shot and also your cue ball know where its going the momemtum after hit the roll etc then honestly its just comes to pratice and time at the table at the end of the day
That is a daft thing to say. What has your comment got to do with the price of fish? Am I suddently better at bobsleigh now because I have reminded myself that the turns aren't straight?
The segment about where you are standing vs where you miss has genuinely been the biggest help I've seen when it comes to improving at pool (I'm really bad at it though, so that may be why)
Another tip you didn't mention, this one might be more for intermediate pool players looking to further improve their game: Shooting long straight shots with slight draw on the cue ball, it increases accuracy and steers the object ball towards the pocket better
Thanks for sharing.. Always very interesting and helpful. This is always what we forget to do when we go down to take the shot.. assuming it's an easy shot. Do keep posting Warm regards and best wishes The UnknownManCub 👍😎🤠
Just doing an experiment. I’m not going to be uploading a video everyday. Yesterday put minimum effort into a video and with this one it took a lot longer. What difference will this make
It’s the outside foot that affects the angle of the cue. If you keep the your feet at shoulder width it remains straight but if you take your outside foodie wider it’ll naturally change the angle of you elbow.
I overcame this problem with the quickest fix ever. I rest my cue against my rib cage, it anchors the cue and now 100% of the time, my cue goes in a straight line. It may be incorrect but it works for me.
@@jamesmcdevitt5327 it stops my cue from weaving left and right. It may take a little time to get used to taking shots with the cue rubbing along the torso but 100%, my opponent's hate me 😁👍
Hmmmm implanting half of that from a wheelchair is a nightmare. Having said that i adopted a similar style. to joe swail and over time have adjusted. If i hadnt followed snooker back then i wouldve given up
Funny thing is these come naturally with repeated practice, making a conscious effort to make sure the shot is straight down the line. The ghost ball method kinda forces you to keep these steps in mind at all times
You'll get it one day chap lol. My best advice is start shooting long straight shots with draw and practice your draw shots more often and your accuracy goes way up
Would you have any suggestions for me please. I used to be a decent player (not groundbreaking but a good all rounder) I broke my left arm several years ago and I cannot straighten it anymore. With this being the arm I put out on the baize, I am really struggling to get into the swing of things and I cannot seem to find a comfortable stance or any consistency. I know I haven’t played for years but I can feel my aim coming back. It’s just frustrating as I don’t know what to change
@@Breakfromlife thank you. I played today on my own for a while and I tried doing what you said in this video. Honestly I was skeptical but I can’t believe the difference. I definitely started seeing consistency in short to mid range shots. 🙂
This is the most simplest explanation to a correct queuing and potting...I've seen a lot of videos which has too much talking and explanation which was not to the point
Does anyone know is there a modified stance for people who struggle to use the standard snooker stance? I'm fine but my partner says it hurts her back so I'm trying to find a solution for her. We love playing snooker/pool together.
I’m an American pool player who knows a ton about this game. I even instruct high level players and some pros. I have cue delivery issues that prevent me from playing high level consistent pool. I’m right handed and left eye dominant and busted my neck 3 times. Retired military and reconstructed neck fused C2-C6. Melling is my favorite player and have had the chance to chat with him but haven’t see him yet. My question is, is there anyone that can help me with stance and cue delivery? I do batter facing forward snooker style. We don’t teach this here, but if I could get a reference to cue perfectly straight, I could impose my will on a pool table. I also do better a little more upright and aft of the middle of the cue. My hands are small and I’d feel better with a narrower butt. Are snooker cues narrower? I can easily help others because I have the advantage of eyes looking from the outside. No one I know teaches like me. Jerry Brisath (Mosconi Cup Coach) lived down the street from me, but we are never in town at the same times. lol You coming to the US anytime soon good sir? lol
Actually it has more to do with your brain and how it uses both your eyes to aim. Not right or left eye dominance. Basic fundamentals are important but there are different stances for different ways people see.

Also it could be your bridge hand 🤚
If you can, have a friend video you from both side on and behind you. That perspective should help you to find out what you need to work on.

Probably you're most helpful video I've seen
Yeah
And I still haven't used them
This is the only game I love playing and I'm good in it😊
Thanks. I've improved recently after reminding myself that no shot is perfectly straight
not sure how that helps but good for you hehe
Good man Brandon

The hardest aspect of snooker is consistently delivering the cue in the correct line. If It were easy anyone could be world champion! 😉

Should fit a laser pointer to the end of the cue so you can line up the red dot on the cue ball to make you’re hitting it in the right place

if the ball is on safe just hit hard as much u can it will in any pocket
