Do homesteaders need a lobbyist in Washington?

There are a lot of laws and regulations on the books that prohibit the production or sale of various agricultural products from small producers. Often, people have found a way around this. However, maybe it is time for us to band together and make our voices heard in our nation's capital. Our elected officials are not acting in our best interests, but rather are enabling and protecting the corporate food supply that has been proven to be unreliable and destructive. Can we play the system the way the corporations do?
