This is amazing! You have made my day just by telling me that! Whats your favourite period for bridal fashion? I love the 1920s for all the long drop waists and veils that are just large bolts of fabric pinned to the head!
What brushes do you use ?
I use the brushes that came standard with procreate. I made the pencil a little larger and have changed the dynamics of them to make them a little more life like. I changed the jitter in the brush settings so they arent as smooth but also not to far so they are still a little smooth. You can do so much with the brushes provided!
Also I basically use the pencil for everything and put the opacity and size up and down

Yes its the Apple pen. I got it in 2018 and havent even changed the nib once! I havent tried any other pens so let me know of you find a good one! What do you draw?

Hello Im happy to help! Do you mean you dont know how to physically colour with the Procreate app or you cant seem to come up with a colour scheme? I can help either way!
@@alexdouglasnewtonart well as of now, I don't draw digitally but I'd really love to! But yes I can never think of a color scheme for the love of me.
If you want to use a colour story that is on trend, Pinterest and youtube will have people letting you know what colours are perfect for the season. To build a story around that you take the trend colour add a dark neutral and a light neutral and either a darker and lighter version of the trend colour or a contrasting colour in dark and light. The best way to start using colours is to understand colour theory. It sounds like a massive undertaking but its just getting to know the colour wheel and how it works together. If in doubt use black and white and then add your favourite colour to that and youll be sailing! Ill make a video on colour theory for you and post it this week!

Hi , I am a beginner and I can't understand how I can get a croqui from Pinterest and add the image to procreate.Trace it on procreate and design in layers using clipping and masking. I want to add fabric pictures from my I pad and different designs from Pinterest and modify. Can you do a tutorial on that with a slow pace though.thanks

@@alexdouglasnewtonart Thank you so much. I’m excited to learn from you. I am planning to use printed fabric ,material can be cotton or anything that I require for the current season. Also , there are some designs that I like online so I just want to know if there is a way to add them to a pre made croqui and modify as we please. Like embroidery and many with laces.
Ill cover lace and embroideries as well!
