  • We are ending off 2023 with one of our wildest adventures for the year, breaking Matt's rule for cold weather, but it's going to be worth it. We are in Flemington, NJ to rescue a 1941 Lincoln Continental, a 1939 Ford Coupe and dig through a garage full of parts. The gentleman that owned all of this has been living here for the last 40 years, in a small apartment in the back of the garage. Both cars appear to be well taken care of and will hopefully not fight us coming out of the garage. Once both of the cars loaded, we have a ton of boxes to dig through, looking for useable parts!!

it's whats called a "business coupe", the cab is shorter, it has no back seat and a larger trunk as you can see, 39 I believe still had the floor shifter too, 40 went to three on the tree

Ford has the original records of every '41 Lincoln Continental built. For a fee you can get a copy showing when it was built and accessories added, as well where it was shipped to.

That guy who lived in the garage, is from my generation, a “Boomer.” A lot of us took the time to appreciate what our parent’s generation created and made the choice to preserve some of it. Matt, you and a lot of your generation, has picked up the baton and keeping these classics, in the race.

This place really reminds me of my brother's place before he passed, he was a major influence in my life.
