I did this last night and your instructions were a big help. A couple of thoughts: 1. There is one screw that is way in the back on the left (looking forward). You have to move some insulation to get to it. This was the hardest part of the whole process. 2. The brass 10mm nut in the back has nothing to do with the removal - looks like it does but it doesn't so leave it alone. 3. pull the rug way back 4. a short handled driver helps for the tight spots. May I say, greatttttttttttt video. I followed your steps, and was able to access the blower and resistor. I tested the blower it was fine so I saved money on not buying a blower. Spent all of $72 on a brand new resistor. Once again greatttttttt video.

Stephen Green on my 08 BMW 750LI the ac blows cold but slowly. I took the panel from the passenger off and I turn on the car and I hear the motor running but blows slowly. What could it be the motor or the resistor. Or just buy both and replace everything new?
MrGerardoMarquez , being that they are attached to each other. You could just replace them while you had them out. But I would check that the fan is working properly first. Could save you a few bucks.
Stephen Green well now it works for now. Is blowing really hard and cold. I don't know was will be wrong. I heard that sometimes they add a little bit of oil to keep it running properly. Sometimes It just get stuck in the need of oil.
is there a separate fan for the heater? i ac blows fine on all speeds but the heater doesn't work. ive already changed the heater valve and still no heat
My fan works fine. It blows cold/hot however, when I turn it on, it squeaks.. when I turn a curve it stops or when I come to a stop it'll stop. It's not a really loud squeak however, it does get fairly annoying. What could be the issue and what could I do?
hi. we have a problem on our e65 745d, similar to what is explained here. when we turn on heating and try to increase the fan speed, it starts to cool instead. can that be linked to the resistor ? the fan is working. thank you
I see your pointing where the resistor is located at. But where is the blower motor located at? Where did you pull the blower motor from? My car is having same issues. Car doesn't want to blow out air. But once in a blue wen I start the car air/heat comes on until I turn the knob to turn the heat down the fan cuts off n doesnt come back on. You kno the problem?
What was the issue that led you to change/check your blower and resistor? My fan blows intermittently and when it does either the AC or heat do work. I know your post is old but I just found it yesterday.
If you have any issues with your blower. You should check for problems. I fixed mine because my fan had started to only work sometimes. Then eventually only worked on high.
u can test it without a multimeter, just take 2 wires put them on the positive and negative of the motor and the other ends on the positive and negative of ur battery

I bought a used 2013 bmw 750 li but none on my lights(brake,head, and lows) will come on :/ Any module i need to check?

My air condition is not blowing could it be the blower motor? Sometimes the air works sometimes it doesn't....I need my air..I live in Florida

Yes it could be your fan is not working as its used for heat and air.

If you watch part 2 of the video, that's where you will see how to remove the blower. The resistor is actually attached to the blower housing.

I HAVE PROBLEM FOR E65 BLOWER MOTOR SPEED ....SPEED VERY SLOW...
I would check the fan and the resistor.
Watched video ordered part and 30 minutes later I had AC working again! Zombie Resistor and bearings needed lube!
