Just finished this boss fight and this has got to be the best build up intro to a boss AND best terraria boss ive ever fought. the music, the feel, the tense feeling, everything was just fricking perfect.
I like how at the very start when Astragelly drops from the top of the screen its telegraphed like in the actual battle and the subtle animation throughout the video.
THIS FIGHT WAS SO INCREDIBLE. And the music just made it so much greater! Great job. Thank you. I did this boss after fighting EoL and this stomped me.
jokes aside, the buildup and the atmosphere of this boss is absolutely perfect, intense, yet terrifyingly beautiful, jeez, you really did nail it, there is no doubt this boss and it's themes went STRAIGHT into my most favorite boss themes and modded bosses ever on Terraria.

i love this theme. if only I could survive longer than a minute at most edit: I beat it like a day or 2 after this comment in Revengeance Melee, and recently beat it again in Death mode Mage. Took me a lot less attempts on that mage attempt, and in review, it's a super fun fight. Visuals are incredible, the fight is just about perfectly balanced on the bullet hell "difficult, but not unfair" line. Its attacks are punishing, but you're never hit with an attack you couldn't see coming. None of my deaths ever exactly felt like it was BS. and the music is *so. fitting.* Astrageldon is back, and it is FAR from happy, and it's not going down without a stellar fight to boot (no pun intended) overall: This fight is basically the perfect bullet hell fight, or at the very least, what bullet hell fights should strive to be. Incredibly fun, punishing but never unfair
This was my favourite fight so far Doing a melee run, it took me 17 attempts to beat this beast, and the last attempt was so satisfactory along with the song 1:34 This part started playing while i was dodging astralgeldon's last attacks, and it gave me the chills
This music gives the vibes as if you’re actually in space fighting with the stars. It gets the feeling of “galaxiness” (creating new words lmao) really well. It also feels like you’re fighting an important enemy because judging from the epicness. Thus, it matches perfectly the Catalyst Astrageldon. The pacing is not too fast. Just like how the fight focuses on precision of your dodging instead of your speed.
to anyone struggling on astrageldon and is playing rogue, i have 1 tip for you USE AURORADICAL THROW. it homes, splits into more projectiles, all the stuff needed for geldon phase2. dont use its stealthstrike tho it sucks yea thats all😰
