Love the river ever since going on the SS ADMIRAL in St. Louis when I was a child. It was art deco in style, a unique steamboat, largest ever, now gone, I'm 74 now and my dream of a paddlewheeler are fading.
Had no idea such technologies still exist and even work! Literally "Life on Mississippi" only after replacing steam engine for a diesel... Mark Twain forever!
Are they gas or marine diesel? I know of both powered boats. Unfortunately I couldn't tell you without looking at the engines, in person, which one is which.
