      @@fadetoblack.- Thank you so much for the very kind words. There was a time that I really thought to give up on reefing but gladly I didn't. I want to believe I am getting healthier, I feel better but haven't done tests for a while due to the Covid-19 situation. Many, many thanks my friend.

    BEAUTIFUL as usual! Really liking the space underneath the rock scape. My favorite tank and inspiration for my reef tank.

    • @JorgeMacedo
      @JorgeMacedo  7 років тому

      They died, they started swimming like crazy hitting the glass, jumping and dying suddenly in just about 3 days they were dead! Not sure what caused this. Found some black gunk stuck to the coil in the sump and replaced the coil. Something is still wrong, few days ago bought Mandarins and gobies and they stopped moving and died in 24h. No stray voltage... I am still scratching my head. No more fish for a while!

    How's ur mystery wrasse with crustaceans? I had to get rid of mine after 3 years he was very aggressive and killed ever shrimp snail basically anything with a shell. They told me once they reach a certain age they can become very aggressive.

    • @JorgeMacedo
      @JorgeMacedo  7 років тому

      Mine is still small and has not even looked at crustaceans but my 4 years old Melanurus wrasse eats medium sized cleaner and fire shrimp for breakfast. So far the only problem was my 4 year old Six line wrasse trying to kill the Mystery wrasse and forced me to replace the six line wrasse with a much smaller Four line wrasse.

    No more choati wrasse?😓

    • @JorgeMacedo
      @JorgeMacedo  7 років тому +1

      No, I still have another leopard wrasse doing well but not the choati. I just watched a red firefish that has been in the tank for the past two months going crazy and dying in a matter of seconds in front of my eyes! something is very wrong.!!! I am even thinking if they touch the anemone or if the anemone releases something... This Magnifica has hosted 3 pairs of clownfish since I placed it in the tank and every single clownfish died after a couple of days!!!

    how do you put corals in so fast and have them so healthy

    • @JorgeMacedo
      @JorgeMacedo  7 років тому +1

      Really it is not a very big deal. I make sure all the parameters are the same since day one. The most important is the control of nutrients as they tend to climb up due to the cr@p in the new rocks. In my case wet skimming, a carbon source and UV to keep up with the elevated bacteria population. thanks
