I think the Bollywood film makers have forgotten the art of making good trailers. They simply reveal the whole story in the trailer. A recent example that I can remember is the trailer of Bhediya. I watched the film first and I enjoyed it a lot. Then recently I happened to see the trailer and I was shocked to see that every thrilling moments every funny moments and every twist in that story were in the trailer. The Bollywood film makers don't understand that revealing too much of the movie is going to take away the fun of watching it in theatres. They should take a cue from Lokesh Kanakaraj whose teaser has those scenes which the film actually doesn't have.
but then movies like Sathya prem ki kahani, Raksha Bandhan, Chup!!, aur bohot sare movie hai jisme bohot kuch nahi dekhaya.
But sir showing scenes that are not in the movie is considered fraud makers can be in legal trouble if someone did case on them.
@@preetiraut7700It's about getting the right mood. Trailer is nothing but hinting what kind of a movie it is. If you want to hide some stuff, but still want to show the feel of the movie, then it's the way to go. Don't bluff the people. That's it.
@@ravitejaknts no it's not about hiding it's about showing those scenes which are not in the movie this considered fraud they can actually land in legal trouble for that.
@@preetiraut7700 Maybe this is the major difference between you guys and south. There is nothing illegal here. They are getting the feel of the movie right and no one is bluffing. Also most times, it will be very clear whether it will be on movie or not. Non the less, if makers are not trying to bluff people, then it's completely fine. South makers are doing these things from many years and we love that. There is no need of law or legal trouble.
Salar looks like KGF because it's part of the KGF universe. It's done on purpose

Mass movie and Masala movies are different.
Mass movie:- only lead hero is the focus and story revolves around him.( Pathan, Master, rajnikant's movies & other Tamil movies etc)
Masala movie:- hero is imp. but there is a good story and other important/interesting characters r also there . (Bahubali,Tiger, Vikram, & many Telugu movies)
That's why the presentation in Master and Leo teaser is different although the actor, director & writer, music directors are same.

Specially Colour grading depends on subject and to creat mood of sean, I too expected some thing diffrent from salar but they did same as KGF there is only one director in india who creat sean with perfect match He is Sanjay Leela Bansali.

I don't know why people are having a hard time putting 2 and 2 together. Salaar looks same cause IT IS in the same universe. The story of rocky IS connected to story of Salaar. Prashanth Neel has said it time and again that KGF, Salaar and Bagheera are in same universe. The characters are going to collide at some point in these movies. So obviously the look and the treatment of the film is going to be same. The music is going to be similar, even the the editing style is going to be similar.
The same thing happened in DC. Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and Justice League Snyder cut had the same tone and similar dark color grade cause all of them are in same universe. The reason why The Batman 2022 and the Penguin series have similar look cause both of them are in same universe.
Prashan Neels hasn't said anything wheter Salaar is part of KGF or not (though it's obvious that it's part of the universe if we look into the details)
@@DexterDruboAnimationOfficial Yeah, its basically a writing on the wall. It is extremely obvious that the salaar and rocky are going to meet at some point.
However, I don’t think Rocky will ever share the screen with Bagheera. But again, this is just an assumption based on the timeline and the fact that rockys character was killed at the end of 2nd part. Meaning if they were to show Rocky, salaar and bagheera in the same film then the movie has to be set in the time frame of 1978 to 1981. And frankly speaking, the tech and the guns in the salaar don’t match with the 1978 or 1981 timeline. The guns that were showcased in the teaser were M16A2 model 645 to a M16A2 commando model 733 and model 727.
Both of these guns came between 1982 to 1985, during and after the Vietnam war. And both of these years come after Rocky’s death in 1981.
@@ThaLazyDesigner Salaar will probably take Rocky's place as the new king (Salaar's name means the right hand person of the king who will later on become the next king after king's retirement) after Rocky's death.
@@DexterDruboAnimationOfficial Could be. But if you think from a director or producers point of view, making salaar meet rocky is like a golden goose. Cause putting them in same movie can rake in colossal amounts like 1000 to 2000 crores. Prbhas has made a loyal fanbase after bahubali. Even his lacklustre ventures like Adipurush, Radheshyam and Saaho were able to cross 200 and 300 crore benchmarks pretty easily. And if you mix that star power with KGFs new found appeal then it can cause havoc at the box office.
Personally, I think the character of rocky bhai should be kept retired and should be used only when the story needs it and not for the sake of making easy money.

The list of remakes in Bollywood is very long, we are mentioning only most popular movies, Bollywood remaking movies from south Indian cinema from a long time, you can check the list first South Indian Remake was Ram and Shyam from the Telugu film Ramudu Bheemudu.

Watch Malayalam movies...the trailer and plot of the movie will be completely different from the movie...you can't easily predict or judge what's going to be in the movie after watching the trailer...that's why Malayalam movies are best in terms of content and probably the best movie industry currently in India
Don't know why and how but storyline and plot of every malyalam movie is totally worth the watch.... Even many Tamil...Telugu Kannada movies feels nonsense but malyalam movies touch the g-spot of audience by well made plot and story rather than mass masala

I think one of the best examples of conviction is in the Malayalam movie "premam" in which the main actress Sai Pallavi in an accedent lose her memory about the hero.
Which off corce is a cringe for a movie in 2015. (Which offcourse made the pre-production team laugh for such a cringe)
But guss what, its director Alphonse made us believe the incident in a most realistic and touching way without any cringe.
It is a real incident and there is a hollywood movie based on that starring Channing Tatum.
That movie is called The Vow (2012).
