Thought I would share something I wrote a few years ago . . . Christmas 2021 When the world is troubled and everything seems out of control, I welcome the snow that covers everything up and reminds me that there can be calm and peace in the world. When the quiet of the falling snow wipes away the disturbing sounds of discord and violence, I know that it doesn’t have to be the way it seems to be. When I begin to wonder what difference one more Christmas can make, I realize that this Christmas is different from every other Christmas. Someone, somewhere is swept beyond the quiet disappointment of another Christmas - ready to surrender - ready to believe. Someone needs just one more Christmas. One more snow flake makes a difference. One more prayer matters. One more soul begging for faith waits for one more Christmas. And so He comes - again.
