Hi! Hope you have fun with the game! Sorry I was busy from my other channel! I hope you will appreciate those. Took me 6 hours to do all of those assembly. Have a good day!
I'm still trying to understand how those losers came back to life, honestly. I mean, do Tera Crystals also have healing properties, like Sacred Ash or Berries? It just feels more like the Loser Three were just taking a long nap than that they were dead for years and fully reanimated because some super-powerful mask was waved over their graves. This is probably the only real problem that I have with the DLC.
@@kamentrainerhorn2073there’s a very small detail where Kieran’s fist glows purple for a split second when he punches the grave after losing the battle with the protagonist. Can have something to do with the three being brought back, alongside the teal mask having the power to bring the dead back
@@kamentrainerhorn2073 something was manipulating Kieran. Either that or Kieran himself has some strange ability. When he punched the monument, it’s very brief, but you can see a purple glow to his fist. It’s also worth noting that after your battle in front of the last signpost, when he clenches his fist, a weird wobbly, distortion effect happens. It could be that, along with the combination of the teal mask that was in his possession at the time.

I love how both Kieran and Carmine's teams reflect their personality. Kieran's team is literally a team of ogres, onis and trolls, and Carmine's team tend to reflect her aggressive, traditionalist behavior. An abrasive Mightyena, the two-faced Morpeko, a nurturing yet deadly Leavanny, the elegant yet grudge inflicting Ninetales, and the perfectionist and proper Sinistcha.
Also her team is made to ne beat up by Ogerpon and in a way every single form of her can do something against specific members of her team. I mean she literally starts out with an intimidate user against Ogerpon which has defiant in her teal form
I'd happily take on Nemona, Carmine, and her angry little bro on all at once, 3 vs 1 gen 5 triple battle style. Empoleon is coming back with a new ability, and I'm goanna wash these kids off the academy grounds 😂
honestly her neutral/serious face expression like her official artwork here reminds me a lot of myself, we've both got that almost cold expression normally but in reality I'm full of emotion lol glad to finally relate to a character
Love how Paldea’s story theme of “Subverting Expectations” carried over to Kitakami. First impressions flipped over by the end of the story. Kitakami’s theme of “dropping the mask” also blended rather well.
The best part was how the characters twisted. We expected Kieran to be a normal shy boy rival who learns to gain confidence, but instead he goes full emo and gets wacked out. Carmine goes from the normal jerk rival with an ego to someone very caring and animated, even if she is still a bit full of herself. They did a great job with the characters, and I'm looking forward to the indigo disk.
I really hope they don't try forcing the 4 trainers in Indigo Disk on us, because they just feel like archetypes. If they can actually do something cool with them, I'll happily accept it, but as of now, I can't afford the energy to give two shits about a single one of them.
I like how Carmine has the same "dead stare" as Kieran when he loses his mind, makes you think that the relentless battle style runs in the mask maker's family, but she is mature enough not to let it begrudge people who defeat her or making her a mean person. She's intense, but is actually very emotionally wise.
@@BlooperTanooki that’s my favorite part. They both have death stare, and it makes you think if they’re unaware of that. Like there is like there’s no dialogue with someone mention it and I really want dialogue where they talk about that like your eyes kind of freaked me out. What’s up with that?
I love how her theme is a mix between friendly and rivalry. I thought her theme would change in her final battle, but the fact that it didn't symbolizes that it wasn't her that changed, it was our perception of her. We were wrong. Her theme is both friendly and badass, with a hint of spunk present. This represents Carmine well. She changes slightly, but she was never evil to begin with, just misunderstood. Kieran, on the other hand, makes a total 180° and pretty much became obsessed with power. This obsession eventually overpowers his desire for Ogrepon to live the life she wants, making him the real villain in this story. This is why his theme went from "friendly" to "evil team leader". Excellent DLC. Best characters we've seen since N.
@chibibitz That would be awesome. Maybe her mission is to surpass Kieran who is power-hungry and put an end to his abuse towards weaker Pokemon. *Shrug*
I like Carmines growth to be accepting of Outsiders well not just cause of her bonding with your trainer, but also for her learning to accept Ogrepon, who's lonely life has lead her to consider the importance expanding her world too.
It's not that she becomes more acceptable. She just doesn't want Kitakami to turn into a tourist trap since most tourists just don't care about the place and just shit it all up, Venice being the best example. She stops being so cold towards you the moment she realizes you are not like that and then starts genuinely liking you when you take part in fixing things up around her home town regarding Ogerpon.
I want to see her interact with Nemona so bad XD I personally like to think they've already met and battled. Carmine lost and hates Nemona for it, but Nemona is blissfully unaware of that.
For real! Though by the end of the teal mask I started to like her character and after the indigo disk she became one of my favorite characters in the whole franchise. Same with Kieran, he has such a great character arc.
I'm really digging this battle theme. I like the energy. I look forward to learning more about Carmine if I ever get my hands on the DLC. She looks like an interesting character.
I like how she flashes the crazy eyes that Kieran gets at the end of the story. Right before the text "Carmine wants to Battle" appears in case you are wondering.
I never took the opportunity to really admire Carmine's theme, it sounds so good in every part, makes me really want to hear it in Masters EX in the near future
I adore her: her arc, her design and her theme of course, her team, the legendary quotes, everything! She would literally make me laugh out loud while playing and I have never abused my screen cap button more😂
Oh yes she's absolutely amazingly written, love her story ark of starting to become a better person and abandoned her Xenophobia But I can also see why people would hate her I should know, I got real life experience with people like her and being a morally gray character won't save her from a bad person (she's infamous in the village for a reason) Can't wait to see how she will turn out in the second part, we did only see stage one Carmine after all!
@@PSI441 it’s clear she’s putting up a front, she comes off as cold at first but it becomes more and more obvious that she’s got issues of her own (most likely a superiority complex) that she’s using this attitude to hide. she’s very caring, she’s just really bad at showing it. if it wasn’t for kieran’s lack of communication I’m sure their friendship would be a lot more stable.
Carmine definitely leaves me with a lot of mixed feelings. I understand why some people get frustrated by her lack of self-awareness (side-eyes at Josh Scorcher), but I also find a lot of amusement in watching her freak-outs . She’s one of those jerks you can’t help but enjoy getting a rise out of. 😅
If anyone hates Carmine, I wish that you read this comment. It's a long evaluation, though. This is my defense for Carmine as a character. I feel bad that, like her brother, she gets judged so quickly by the community. She's just entirely misunderstood by the community because people have passed around the "abuser" title. Her crass nature is just a side-effect of how competitive she is. She is also only a teenager (as far as I'm aware.) So of course she's going to act this way; especially if there aren't any parents around to tell her it isn't nice. In my eyes, she is not abusive. All she does is say mean things to Kieran and the protagonist, as a teasing older sister usually would. She clearly cares for her brother, even in the beginning, trying to apologize as soon as she discovered how it all actually made him feel. She only lied because she wanted to protect him, both from the danger of chasing Ogerpon up a mountain at night, but also to make sure he doesn't try to do a similar thing in the future. She's not trying to control him, she has nothing to gain from that. She admits to feeling bad about lying immediately after he runs off. Her lie was completely within reason. At that point she still believed Ogerpon was a rampant menace with three confirmed kills. Sounds pretty dangerous, right? On top of that, she knows how badly kieran wants to meet Ogerpon. So subconsciously she's probably thinking of how Kiki might react if his older sister and his new and only friend got to see it before him. He's been obsessing over it for most of his life and then his sister, who doesn't like it, and the protagonist, someone who only entered the region earlier that day, gets to meet with it by chance. Yeah, that'd feel pretty terrible and would make most people feel bad if they missed out. And part of the reason that Carmine and the MC didn't tell Kieran about Ogerpon after that is actually because of the grandfather's orders specificlly not to tell him, or anyone. She is outraged to hear the true story behind the loyal three, and wants nothing but the best for Ogerpon, which shows off her compassionate side. She doesn't try to rub it in when Kieran begs to have custody of Ogerpon. She takes the most sensible approach to calming him down through telling him to consider Ogerpon's feelings (which works, by the way,) In the Indigo Disk, she seems to be scared of what he's become, or scared for him. Going silent and shifting her expression to what I can only describe as guilt whenever he talks back to her. But after Kieran's defeat as champion? Her teasing there is much more playful, underscoring that she has learned not to push him after seeing what he can really do. By the end of the Teal Mask she actively apologizes to everyone and states that she really enjoyed spending time with them, and looks genuinely dismayed when we have to part ways. Better yet, she acknowledges Kieran's absence in that same scene and looks concerned and uncomfortable when he doesn't show up to say farewell. And then, there's the ending of the Indigo Disk where she is so happy Kieran is reforming to his usual self she literally cries out of happiness. One of the best-written characters in a good while if you ask me. Not THE best. Of course, but I think she could have been a solid candidate if they actually gave her some kind of arc invloving Kieran and apologizing to him properly. Perhaps she develops some form of anxiety and we see her hair get messier because she's not looking after herself. Blaming herself for everything. Something like that would have gone a long way. At the end of the day she has more development than Nemona, which is why I like her *leagues* more than Nemona. Kieran would state how much he hates his sister if the abuse was there - something would have slipped from his mouth. He doesn't though. In fact, he even defends her right after we see her yell at him, to make sure we don't assume the worst of her. Some people think Carmine is physically abusive, which I think is wrong. She doesn't have it in her to hit Kiki, or anyone for that matter. She is all talk. The first thing she does when Kieran harms himself is ask "Kiki... Are you okay?!" *Bunch of dialogue some people may have skipped over or not seen:* "No one's... picking on him, or anything... right?" -Carmine to Crispin when discussing Kieran settling in at school again. "Now I REALLY can't tell Kiki..." -Carmine to the protagonist when the grandfather tells her not to say anything. It implies she would have liked to, or was building up to it. "If Kieran's down to just one friend, i'm glad it's you." -Carmine to the player when she discusses Kieran in their dorm room. She doesn't want Kieran to be alone. That's another point I want to emphasize. Carmine is very overprotective of Kieran because she herself is rather lonely. Other than Amarys, she only truly gets along with Kieran. Until the player shows up and she starts to come out of her own comfort zone. WE inadvertently draw her out of it. She protects Kieran from anything she believes to be dangerous either physically or emotionally, and contains him within a social bubble where she knows he's safe and not talking to the wrong kind of people, a place where he won't end up leaving her as their parents seem to have. This did, however cause Kieran's shyness. And her shouting at him is likely a factor in why he's like that. But people need to know that she isn't evil or malicious and definitely not abusive, pushy for sure, but not an abuser. She doesn't do it because she wants to. She has her own problems that affect the way she speaks to people. She doesn't recognize it as rude and annoying when it comes across that way. But at the end of the day, these are video game characters, not real. So who cares, really? This is a game for younger audiences, there will always be a mostly happy ending, anyway regardless of what happens. Well... I say that but the main game's ending was pretty dark for poor Arven.
Tsundere Nemona + a sensed pairing with Morpeko, even more than Marnie + good character development as well as having 0:29 and 0:56 that just hit the right spot, while also separating her two emotional states of aggressiveness (rappresented by the guitar) and the cuteness (rappresented by the harp)? That’s how you create a good show don’t tell type of story
Gotta appreciate how Carmine's theme sorta indirectly changes in context in contrast to Kieran's in the story: Although her theme doesn't change, what initially comes across a more antagonistic theme fitting of what you'd expect of a "jerk" rival turns out to be more chill as you connect more with Carmine and get more context for how she acts, and you realize parts of it resemble more of a "friendly" rival theme . This especially becomes more prevalent as her theme begins to contrast with Kieran's more once his theme shifts to a more unfriendly and threatening tone in his final fight. Carmine's theme DEFINETELY feels like more of a friendly rival theme in her final fight the day after Kieran's sudden shift.
I friggin love Carmine as a character. As someone who comes across as overly aggressive and unkind, i really enjoyed seeing her develop. I don't feel that she's abusive to Kieran, though she is a bit sharp, and there's actually dialogue where Kieran states himself that she's not as bad as she seems. Kieran is phenomenally written as well, as he genuinely unnerves me in the end. It's one thing to be intense and frustrated about other people surpassing you. It's another to express that you don't care about the feelings of the being you claim to love so much. He seems like someone who has had a rough time socially, but has taken it in a rather dark direction, protecting his problems onto Ogerpon and vicariously the player and Carmine as well and seemingly having a very "if you're not explicitly and absolutely with me, you're bullying me" mindset. I can't wait to see how he develops further.
Absolutely agree, she is an amazing character but I'm pretty sure she's abusive. I have a similar person in my life like her and from my experience kierans development was only natural knowing how she is. Which makes the story even more well written for getting the dynamic right!
@@kopfloserbeginn3879 Being petty and mean towards siblings isn't always abuse, but I'm sorry to hear about your experience with that. I hope you healed from it!
Only one time though..... Also... where did they go? I can't seem to find either Carmine or Kieran anywhere. Really wanted to see every last bit of dialogue from one of my new favourite characters. They gave us access to Carmine's dorm room, but she's not even in there?
I commented on Kieran’s theme so it’s fair I do Carmine’s too! 0:00 the light strings are a very nice contrast to Kieran’s heavy violins, also it feels kinda homey? In a way, ironic considering our first meeting with her 0:33 The pause and more slow pace seems to represent her slow change in character, it sounds doubtful in a way (to me at least) 0:39 I really love how the notes keep increasing in scale, it goes from low to high, maybe representing her change to being closed off to more welcoming? Also sounds playful in a way, maybe a representative of Oregpom perhaps? 1:03 URHG I LOVE THIS the second bridge no longer feels out of place within the context of the story, it’s homey because Carmine is more open and welcoming to *us* I’ll repeat it over and over again, no matter the game Pokemon absolutely delivers on the ost department, I feel like their music is becoming more story driven compared to past generations and I love that!!!!
Interesting how she ended up being the good character and Kieran ended up being the bad one in terms of like...good and evil. It was a really good twist.
Oh my god, finally. If Gamefreak wanted to ship the two of them, it'd be more obvious that she liked him. All of her anger toward Drayten is a genuine hatred for him, not some violent tsundere lust. You can ship them in your headcanon if you want, but I think with the evidence we're given. She doesn't like him at all
Nemona couldnt come with us to Kitakami because Carmine would immediately try to kill her. Itd be an entirely one-sided beef, Carmine would say the most back-handed compliment and Nemona would go "omg wow thank you so much youre so sweet!!!" And Carmine would seethe and mald. This, too, is yuri.

Though I’m an only child, I personally believe Carmine’s not aware of how her behavior affects Kieran. As the story goes on it becomes clear that her personality is just a front. She’s unaware of how harmful she can be at times, but if she were to be directly told the consequences of her actions she’d shatter. At the bottom of her heart, she cares for Kieran, and the player just as much. Even when she was shown what her actions molded Kieran into, he didn’t give her the chance to properly apologize. She has a superiority complex no doubt, but since it’s protected _her_ , she believes she can protect Kieran with it, not knowing that instead it amplifies his feelings of inferiority and self doubt. She’s more than just a “omg I’m so pretty and so cool you’re so stupid lmao” girl, under all that she’s definitely hurt, and we just don’t know how. I thought I was going to hate her, genuinely! But Kieran gradually grew into something that reminded me of someone I knew in the past, someone who idolized me only to put words in my mouth and treat me like the bad guy when his own feelings are to blame. I have faith we can help Kieran, but the person I knew was beyond saving. Carmine has her issues, but in the end it’s because she’s trying to save face. A majority of the stuff she says are things she doesn’t mean whatsoever. She’s caring, just in an aggressive manner that doesn’t come off well to others, because it’s likely how she cared for herself in the past. This girl’s got trauma and I want to see it, Gamefreak. anyway I’m not surprised more people dislike her than people who disliked Nemona (thank god, Nemona is practically a perfect adhd rep and hating her is a huge red flag) but I wanted to type this out just so people could understand Carmine isn’t actually trying to be a terrible person. A lot of people will take characters at face value, unable to look beneath the fronts they put up when looking deeper into the writing shows you that there’s vulnerability underneath. I want more people to understand that not everyone is aware of how their actions harm others, and I want them to know that communication is key to fixing these issues. Communication clearly isn’t Kieran’s strong suit. So L + ratio I guess. The both of them need mega therapy. They’re so mentally ill. I love this game’s sudden amount of mentally ill characters because it really helps me feel for them as the story progresses. TL;DR: carmines not trying to be mean and I’m 99% sure she’s just traumatized and if kieran told her she made him upset she’d fling herself off of oni mountain
Honestly, I grew more attached to Carmine and Kieran than, let's say Nemona or Penny. Kieran is a tragic character who I relate to a huge amount, I used to share some of his traits as a kid. Carmine, now one of my favourite characters from this franchise, is looked upon through a negative lens by a good portion of the community. Likely those who don't fully read the dialogue and understand her character. Carmine's character felt quite personal to me as she is exactly the type of older sister I wish I had, she very obviously cares for her younger brother, underscored by her silence in his presence during the Indigo Disk. She's might be scared of him at the beginning of the Indigo Disk, that's natural, but I reckon that her fear is actually for him. She is delighted whenever he starts to reform his old self in the portion underneath the Zero Lab, laughing with glee in response to seeing her real brother come back. I do wish she had snapped at him at some point after Kieran's defeat. While Kieran has learned to ignore her outbursts, I think this one in particular would get to him if she actually means what she's saying, expressing her genuine concern and worry about the state he is in.
I feel like we all have had experiences similar to dealing with own Kieran in the past. My first encounter was back in fifth grade. She was my best friend but began to exhibit concerning behavior. She started to force me to hang out with her instead of her other friends, with whom she had a falling out, and even my own sister. I didn't understand why. I also had another experience in high school with a friend I had for four years. I continued the friendship out of guilt, as she seemed to want to be the hero of her own story but was also struggling on the inside. She portrayed herself as everyone's savior, including mine. I suffer from severe anxiety, which she picked up on, and she would give me advice that I didn't find helpful. She believed that simply saying certain phrases or yelling at me, as my sister did from time to time, was causing my anxiety and panic attacks to worsen, when in reality, my sister knew me better and was better equipped to help me during those times. I later realized that my anxiety had worsened because of her, as she seemed to have a savior complex and wanted to be my hero. I also suspect that she was jealous of my close relationship with my sister, and this led her to try to paint my sister in a negative light, which I knew wasn't the case. This is probably why I relate more to Kieran's story, because I have been friends with kids like him. Sometimes, those kids just can't be helped, so you have to back away. In some cases, kids do get help and realize that their actions are the reason why things don't work out the way they want.
@@madisonyomans9004 I’m glad someone understands! Kieran’s a very interesting character, but I feel like not enough people focus on just how much of a jerk he was being to everyone (esp the protagonist). I also wish his redemption was more detailed, but the epilogue at least showed us he changed for the better. Kieran is the ideal end to a situation like that. But for the majority of us who didn’t get that happy ending irl, it makes his actions stick out more to us. Hence why I’m so upset that people demonize Carmine while going “kieran my poor little meow meow”. Arguably he was worse! Glad my man got better
@@edgytoucan3444 I actually followed this person on Instagram, who is actually translating the Japanese version. And she mentioned some things at Carmine and Kieran story is kind of butchered by the English translation. Like the indigo disk Kieran is a lot more meaner than he was in the English version they toned it down a lot. in Carmines, one line where every body started calling her she’s abusive sister.” it’s not like I hit him or anything.” it never said in the Japanese version outline the English version just for some reason said it. Her grandfather actually scolded her for how rude she is to Kieran that she needs to be more kinder to her brother. She says that she is being nice again. She is very aggressive about it, but she is being nice apparently. She does more overbearing big sister in the Japanese translations. Her dialogue before she trades you in the academy really shows this well. She talks about how she's overprotective and you can tell she really cares for Kieran. Kieran and Carmine are definitely among my favorite characters. (Also, you're so real for the Nemona thing, I love Nemona so much.)

@quantasium An abusive older sister who very clearly has issues of her own, and has a genuine care for her brother. Similarly to Nemona, she's just not good at realizing the situations she creates.
I might be overanalyzing but in the ending melody at 0:56 is the same in Kieran's with the difference being the instruments. Carmines is more softer whereas Kierans is more intense. Possibly could be reference to how the characters developed at the end. Carmine be softened up bit, Kieran became more intense.
I think it might also be hinting that their upfront personalities are just a facade. Kieran always had that intensity and Carmine was always soft, since they talk about how Carmine acts at the academy
Start of Teal Mask: Begone from my homeland, filthy outsider! End of Teal Mask: It sure was fun having all my beliefs shatter before my eyes while my brother goes insane, we should smooch when the next DLC drops!
Honestly enjoyed her character. A bit of the typical jerk rival attributes, but had they’re own spin on it with her commenting on her looks. Really looking to see how she’ll grow in the second DLC, since it looked like they were setting up something for her to say to the protagonist at the end. Maybe some romance subplot like they did with Shauna/May/Lillie?
Favourite theme of the Teal Mask DLC. It's nowhere near as grand or symbolic as some of the others but I just found it instantly catchy. Plus it's a perfect fit for her as a character, like its suprisingly laid back and even borderline friendly but its coated in a layer of trying to come off as really cool.
Screw all the deeply philosophical Gen 5 quotes about truths, ideals, enslavement of Pokemon and all that nonesense. *"We'll make you regret ever coming back to life!"* is the best quote in the entire Pokemon franchise ever!

I hated her at first. She was so mean, and I don't like her attitude towards the player. Glad Kieran was there with us. After the Ogerpon incident, she became an ally. I hope we can save Kieran from his anger and jealousy in the 2nd DLC.
I didn't expect to like Carmine, but she is actually quite sweet and hilarious. I hate her Leavanny, though - that damn bug beat Ogerpon twice until I realized that I needed to swap her mask. Boom, Tera Fire Ivy Cudgel and GG.

It also works into play with Ogerpon being the good girl at the end and not a violent ogre while the Momotaro-based trio are the bad guys.
This, the game may be buggy but the story was well done and really resonated. You really truly end up resonating with the characters.

I also enjoyed how her theme didn’t change. I am glad I am not the only one. Her theme is a pretty nice banger too.
I have a feeling they're saving her final theme for that league battle in the indigo disk. Wishful thinking but damn I hope I'm right

I don't know why I like Carmine so much. She's such a unique rival character, and I like what they did with her design.
Carmine went from a character I hated to one I love!! The bond between you two really grows once Ogrepon comes into play

Can't wait to see how she will turn out in the second part, we did only see stage one Carmine after all!
She is a callback to the jerk rivals we used to have, she even sputs one liners, she's a cool character
She takes the most sensible approach to calming him down through telling him to consider Ogerpon's feelings (which works, by the way,)
In the Indigo Disk, she seems to be scared of what he's become, or scared for him.
Are you okay?!"
*Bunch of dialogue some people may have skipped over or not seen:*
"No one's... picking on him, or anything... right?" -Carmine to Crispin when discussing Kieran settling in at school again.

That’s how you create a good show don’t tell type of story
Gotta appreciate how Carmine's theme sorta indirectly changes in context in contrast to Kieran's in the story:
Although her theme doesn't change, what initially comes across a more antagonistic theme fitting of what you'd expect of a "jerk" rival turns out to be more chill as you connect more with Carmine and get more context for how she acts, and you realize parts of it resemble more of a "friendly" rival theme .

I kinda wanna see Carmine in a different hairstyle that shows off the red of her hair like Kieran's hair does for the purple.
She does pull it back in her concept art, it isn’t colored though

That's a lot of talk for someone within one-shot range.

So with that said, we need to hold the English translation accountable for the way they perceived to English speakers playing the game.
Her dialogue before she trades you in the academy really shows this well. She talks about how she's overprotective and you can tell she really cares for Kieran. Kieran and Carmine are definitely among my favorite characters. (Also, you're so real for the Nemona thing, I love Nemona so much.)
Carmine is Tsundera Nemona and I love it
While Nemona is Yandere Carmine
Yes!
@@connergoessupersonicnemona would have to be a reverse yandere cuz she’s technically OUR senpai
so if Nemona is compared to Goku then we found our Vegeta

HELP I READ "COCAINE BATTLE MUSIC" I´M DYING
Waltuh... put your Litwick away Waltuh
Such a good Rival theme. I love the guitar in this.
The bass in this song is crazy
Not Kieran in the back with the NPC level cheering
i can’t believe an npc actually carried *me* in double battles
Really? My level 71 Meowscrada dealt like 90% damage to the milotic. Also the milotic was level 74. And my Meowscrada was my lowest level Pokémon.
She absolutely deserved the team leader position!
@@kidnamedzityeah… i was trying to use a new team that was on-level for the dlc but hadn’t quite worked out a good strategy yet. i had mostly either underleveled or overleveled pokémon and was trying not to use the latter. plus i could not for the life of me figure out the typings of the loyal three, somehow
@@kidnamedzither morpeko hard carried during the loyal three fights thanks to thunder wave.
I was playing the dlc and I was in a cutscene with Carmine in it and my mom saw me play and asked me “What is wrong with that girl’s bangs?” 😭 she asked that with Kieran’s hair too
HELP I'M ADDICTED.
SAME🙏🙏
Mabye becouse the drumset you hear in this track comes from "Addictive Drums"
@@fromixty well maybe not cuz while it lasted for a good 5 months, I've since moved on 😔 doesn't mean I don't listen to it once in a while though
This one really grows on you.
In my opinion she is the best rival so far for gen 9. She starts out rude, but realizes her mistakes and apologizes for her wrongs. Let's see if the next part of the dlc makes me forgive her brother's actions.
More like something crazy is happening and she doesn't have time to be petty about you so you two work together and eventually she realises that you aren't half bad
@@noone12748that is definitely a better way to put it xD
I should probably update that I do forgive her brother now, but I still admire Carmine more than little Kiki.
I genuinely am confused
People loved blue and silver because they were rude to you and felt like a rival
And now that carmine is a thing everyone hates her
Umm because she is an abusive older sister, that’s why.
@quantasium An abusive older sister who very clearly has issues of her own, and has a genuine care for her brother. Similarly to Nemona, she's just not good at realizing the situations she creates.
Carmine is an amazing beauty.
when she brought out morpeko i already thought, this pokémon suits her very well
I might be overanalyzing but in the ending melody at 0:56 is the same in Kieran's with the difference being the instruments.
End of Teal Mask: It sure was fun having all my beliefs shatter before my eyes while my brother goes insane, we should smooch when the next DLC drops!
love Carmine so much that she is in my top 3 Paldea characters
She’s up there with nemona Larry and Clive for me definitely
She ain't from Paldea but I get what you mean😅
Top 3 characters of all time for me!😍
I love that her tsundere ass has Morpeko. Absolute perfection.
Yeah she’s a jerk rival, but well done
But specifically a romance with Nemona. No I will not stop shutting up about Carminemo.
@@kaistephens2694 Nemona could fix her
Id love a romance between them
She is hands down the best of the jerk rivals

Favourite theme of the Teal Mask DLC. It's nowhere near as grand or symbolic as some of the others but I just found it instantly catchy. Plus it's a perfect fit for her as a character, like its suprisingly laid back and even borderline friendly but its coated in a layer of trying to come off as really cool.
I don't think we opened a love arc, I think we gave her doubt on briar's goals
When she spilled about Kieran my inner shipper from childhood years awakened and I was heartbroken when he became evil💔😭
Start of DLC you like Kieran and find Carmine annoying.
End of DLC you like Carmine and find Kieran annoying.
This is the most accurate thing I've seen
Carmine is the classic definition of a jerk with a heart of gold, while Kieran is the classic definition of a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Man, she really grew on me.
God, Kieran and Carmine really swapped personality roles as the story went on...
Screw all the deeply philosophical Gen 5 quotes about truths, ideals, enslavement of Pokemon and all that nonesense.
*"We'll make you regret ever coming back to life!"* is the best quote in the entire Pokemon franchise ever!
"Open up, it's time for the koffing! 💢 "
"Oh barbaracle i hate the koffing..."
(Its from the threat she made if we told about the mask to anyone especially Kieran lol)
'That scarf's way too stylish for the likes of you!'
This is the best carmine quote
I hated her at first. She was so mean, and I don't like her attitude towards the player. Glad Kieran was there with us. After the Ogerpon incident, she became an ally. I hope we can save Kieran from his anger and jealousy in the 2nd DLC.
why are people so sensitive
missing Carmine everyday
We'll see her again on December-January
Whos back after hearing the next HZ arc?
Liko is going to have a new rival in Carmine!!!
NGL, her being a wacko neurotic made me feel in love haha
Same.
I didn't expect to like Carmine, but she is actually quite sweet and hilarious. I hate her Leavanny, though - that damn bug beat Ogerpon twice until I realized that I needed to swap her mask. Boom, Tera Fire Ivy Cudgel and GG.
I like how her character was written
But still don't like her personality lol.
She's becoming nemona with a little bunch of racisme and i'm here for it
*"The xenophobic sister of my ex new best friend cannot be this cute"*

First came the Yandere Nemona and now here’s the Tsundere Carmine. Wonder what the next Dere will be 🤔
