Why does craigslist enable these scammers??? If you're *selling a vehicle or renting a HOUSE* you should need to link a bank account (ala PayPal) or have a driver's license / state ID verified so that there's a SOLID PAPER TRAIL in case of shenanigans. Where's the class action suit against craigslist? Thousands of people have lost millions of dollars!! I'd rather see craigslist sued, bankrupted and shut down than let the fraud continue. Scammers need to suffer!!!!!
If craigslist does not want to get a handle on all of the scams it has on its site, it needs to get rid of it's rental section. There are too many rental scams that it's sickening and need to be made a serious crime.
