So true.... So many gems I would love to play.. Somehow its very hard for me to enjoy new more modern games. So yes, there is a market for this products. Gameplay, graphics and music wise this is videogame paradise for me.
Sega Rally is easily my most favourite racing game ever, I've played it to death since its Japanese release on the Saturn. I played it just about every day for more than a year. Especially memorable are those long winter nights with a good cup of coffee and the company of Sega Rally, perfecting my times, and when finally going to bed after 3-4 hours play, I could still hear "easy right, long medium left". Sega Rally I love you. ❤️
I was surprised to hear that it was never converted to Sega consoles, because I remeber that back in the day it came out for everything: Amiga, Commodore 64, Amstrad, Atari ST, Spectrum, MSX, etc...
As far as Model 2 games are concerned, arcade perfect home versions of Virtua Fighter 2 and House of the Dead should be considered. There are so many from the Saturn the deserve re-releases as well.
Thanks for this Vid and your everlasting SEGA-Fan-Love. My Wishlist would include: - Scud Race - Daytona USA 2 - Thunder Force V💗 and of course... - Sega Rally & The Return of Death Adder✌️
Almost always learn about games I didn't even know existed. SLX, thnx showing Sonic some love. Also, going back to one of your recent episode..I would love to have/play Tazmania SMS on Sega Ages. North America missed on some nice 8 bit content that would be cool to have become available.
hey sega lord x i statred watching ur channel 2 weeks ago.I wrecked my motorcycle and cant move around and cant play games my wrist is shattered and my collar bone is snaped in half i have binge watched ur vids been very helpfull cause im was getting misserable but ur vids made me smile thanks dude. and my pittbull who never left my side i know there are spelling errors typing with bad hand lol and it really hurts just to type lol
Holy crap! All these games you mentioned from Sega look sick. I am wildly impressed and this makes me beg the constant question again and again, how is Sega not back in the gaming industry like they use to be(rhetoric question)jeez? I like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, but I love Sega! Sega #1
Fantastic video! I love Sega Ages on Switch but I totally agree it should be multiplatform, it's pretty silly that it isn't already. Would love to see Sega Rally, Daytona, OutRunners, and Power Drift to name a few. One game that would be insane to see would be the original Monkey Ball arcade game. That would be a really cool and with a new Monkey Ball coming out it seems like Sega isn't done with the franchise yet!
I bought two weeks ago G-LOC... I played the game on arcades when I was a kid... And yes I want the game Arabian Fight, Sega Rally and Golden Axe revenge of Death Adder.. And if we go a little further... Daytona USA 2 and a perfect conversion of Virtual On Cyber Troppers.
I just want two: Super Monaco GP but with Mega Drive game modes and tracks added! F1 Exhaust Note & F1 Super Lap or any of the two with more tracks / championship mode
I want a Saturn mini with add on IR rappers for house of the dead and Virtua cop series. Maybe 40 games including Panzer trilogy, deep fear, enemy zero, and multiple rpg's! I'd pay for sure!
Great shout out for the original Virtua Fighter arcade game, I'd snap that up straight away as I too loved that game. Another great list and what I live the most about your videos is the enthusiasm as well as dredging up those old arcade memories, some of which I might have forgotten. Great stuff.
Man, all of these would be awesome to see on Sega Ages. I recently just played Golden Axe Revenge of Death Adder at an arcade, and it's such an awesome game. Virtua Fighter 1 and SegaSonic getting ported would be awesome. Hopefully M2 can find ways to convert the AM2 refits for PS3 and 360 of Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, Sonic The Fighters and Virtual On over to switch too.
Yeah, it screams MERCS from every pixel, I didn't even know about this game, and I knew most Sega arcade games. Also, MERCS, unlike this one, was converted for every system.
You have some great picks on your list. I wanted that Golden Axe for years since I saw it in an arcade during the Saturn years. The ending was epic and every Golden Axe fan should see it.
I always found Arabian Fight intriguing. I only got a chance to play it in the Showboat Casino arcade in Atlantic City as kid due to it being a rarity. I used to love the scaling and the magic animations.
The games you showed all looked like excellent canidates for the Sega Ages line. I legit would buy every single one you showed. Your videos get me so pumped for old school games, I have all the newest systems and todays games are amazing, but somthing about the classics just reels me in way more often. They truly don't make em like they used to. Your videos are such quality, keep up the great work.
Ha! Good timing sir... thanx for the shout out on rad rally... i joke of course! hope you are well. My god if we knew each other 25 year or so back (ok I'm in UK..) we would of nerded out so hard together.... take care and enjoy your work. From one youtube channel from a totally different and niche sector to another. Best wishes!
My SEGA AGES Wishlist: Ristar - Yes, it's another Genesis Game, and yes, it's recieved multiple rereleases since, but that's why it's at the BOTTOM of the list, because all that being said, it's a gorgeous and wonderful game well-deserving of the SEGA AGES treatment. Maybe even with an option to play the game on an easier difficulty for beginners, or a mode that allows you to choose between the NA and the JP versions...And yes, there are notable differences between the two. Bonanza Bros. (PS2 Version) - Save me the sub-par Genesis port of the game, I want to see the version that SEGA themselves made as part of SEGA AGES back in the day of the PS2. Add in an online co-op mode to play with a friend, and we're all covered..."Eh-Heh-Heeeeh..." Bug! and Bug Too! - Out of all the games on SEGA Saturn, this game would probably be the simpliest to port over. I could DEFINATLEY see M2 and SEGA port these two games over the Switch without TOO MUCH technical problems. Also, having a selection of difficulty and potentially a better save feature (at least for the original Bug!) would a be a blessing for games as unforgiving as these... Astal - Now this one is probably my most-wanted SEGA AGES pick. Like the Bug! series, I feel this is another game SEGA could benefit on porting over to SEGA AGES from the Saturn without too many issues. Plus, to have a version of the game that allows to swap between NA and JP versions would be simply amazing, maybe even including a new English version of the song, "Let Me Try Again"...
I loved all the games you put as the Top 10 Most Wanted Sega Games! My favorite Golden Axe & Virtua Fighter and lots more. Thanks for the video and keep it up. :)
Fantastic choices. I've yet to get any Sega Ages (already have a lot in other collections, etc.), but I would definitely pick up Golden Axe RoDA, Sega Sonic, and possibly Virtua Fighter, too.
Slipstream yes yes YES. Played a lot of these games as a kid in the arcade and just enjoyed them as they were, but hearing your insight from a technical perspective is really cool.....it also makes me miss the sega arcade games so much
Well made video chap, keep em coming like this, love the retro style genre, and I'm so happy more and more developers are making games styles like the old school era, and about these games, I couldn't agree more.
I would love to see an Outrun collection appear on systems like the Xbox One, PS4 and more as well as an Arcade collection consisting of games that have never had any releases, or almost no release, outside of the arcades. It's disappointing that Sega Ages is limited only to Switch instead of being in the wider gaming market on other systems. Also a complete release of Shining Force 3, fully translated, on all current systems would be great to see. It's been over twenty years since the game was originally released but never got a full release outside of Japan, it's long overdue.
If M2 could get the chance to lavish Daytona USA with the same treatment Virtua Racing received with their masterful Switch port, they would earn Sega a heap of money and make their biggest fans very happy indeed. I was utterly blown away with their incredible VR port, so I can only imagine what Daytona would be like. Oh, and Sega Rally 1 & 2 please.
An arcade perfect port of VF2 was released on Xbox arcade which runs at 60 FPS whereas the original arcade ran at 30fps iirc. I am too lazy to check. So many sega games I would like to see rereleased on other machines ❤️
Great Review!! I never knew about many of the games Sega did u reviewed here!!?..That Sonic side view & the Golden Axe 2 looks amazing!! & so were all the games u u reviewed but those are definitely a standout!! Again Really AWESOME REVIEW!!👌🏽🔥💯💯💯
I'm beyond surprised you never mentioned Sega's Spiderman arcade 4P beat-em-up. I have a rom board for my System32, along with Golden Axe ROTA, and Arabian Fight. It would be nice to also see Galaxy Force II come home outside of a perfect 3DS release.
Really good video fella. So many arcade ports I'd like see converted to ps4. A list so long I don't know where to start. A brawlers collection. A Super Scaler collection. A racing collection. Just so many. I'd buy them all.
Great video. Very informative. I hope Sega to bring all those games mentioned in the video to all platforms!! Im a ps4 user and i would buy it for sure!!
100% with you on Revenge of DEATH=ADDER, but my other picks would be a game I just made a video on: Deep Fear. That is a game that deserves to be seen by a wider audience.
I wish a compilation of the 3 golden axe arcade perfect , sega rally 1&2 and Daytona 1&2 , Last Bronx the 3 first Virtua Fighter. I wish Sega Ages collection releases also on Xbox and Ps4
I'd really love to see a Virtua Fighter perfect (plus) arcade port. It's such a shame that there never was one. Even more so since I recently got the Saturn version and now understand better what the negativity was all about (youtube video's somehow didn't quite bring it across to me). Of the games on this list that I've mostly gotten to know through Sega Lord's channel, I'd most like to see Outrunners and Golden Axe.
M2 are a very small independent company not owned by Sega comprised of a few really clever coders are good at tweaking old code and porting it to new hardware. There were seven or so AM studios at one point but they renamed most of them around 2000.
Looked it up on Google and found that in total there were 8 AMs , 2 R&Ds , 3 CS (CS for consumer) and other Studios formed from members of the ones listed , if Wikipedia is correct and I read and understood the information correctly
I never even heard of Arabian Fights, but WOW it looks awesome! Also, my idea for making SegaSonic work on Switch, maybe let you mimic the trackball swooping using the Switch's touchscreen?
Yep would defo love to see power drift and outrunners get released. After burner, super hang on, thunderblade, galaxy force, golden axe and shadow dancer would be cool too
Rad Mobile. That one changed my life in the arcade. Outrun got REAL Edit: to my little kid self. I'll never forget it. Would pay decent for a home version.
Here are my thoughts and some of the games i want. Sega Rally slipped my radar as a potential release, but it would be a good addition. Ive been wanting a home port of Revenge of Death Adder for way too long, and Sega Ages would be a perfect way to release that. Outrunners needs a good port besides that travesty that was the Genesis port. You could even give it the treatment that we got for Virtua Racing with the split screen for multiplayer. Though...you wouldn't be able to select individual songs on the radio. As much as it would be nice to get an arcade perfect port of Virtua Fighter, I'd like one of Virtua Fighter 2. We did get one on PS3/360, but it was kinda bare bones. Id love to see that get the Ages treatment. Also, in regards to your licensing comment toward Star Wars, since that property is now owned by Disney, and considering that Disney and Sega have had a good working relationship in the past (and perhaps now since they allowed them to put Castle and World of Illusion on the Genesis/MD Mini), I feel like there'd be a small chance that the we could at least get Star Wars Arcade (the one that was ported to 32X). Ive only been able to play that game once at an arcade (at Galloping Ghost Arcade in Chicago), and its definitely something Id like to play more.
0:44 Is Thunderforce III / AC available for the switch? Or is it due to be released or just something you would like to see? I already have Thunderforce IV but III was always my favourite so I'd love to see it ported. Great video as usual. Thanks
There are probably too many racers on this list. Power Drift, Outrunners and Rally would suffice. Right now it is criminal that Revenge Of Death Adder is not available. I have played it in the arcade recently and it is head and shoulders, the best beat em up ever made, let alone by Sega. I would also like to see the Golden Axe fighting game available on a mainstream console. My most controversial pick is a remastered Eternal Champions. I thought it was a cool concept for a fighting game and carried great potential. The Planet Harriers games look great and I would love a shot at playing them. I would love to see the Spider-Man arcade game, but guessing it has a lot of barriers. As for it only being on Switch, I imagine the issue is with Sony and Microsoft. Otherwise why would they not publish these on PS4? I wish Sega was more like SNK. They have most of their library readily available at a reasonable price. Though at least they have the Genesis Collection super cheap.
A lot of those games showed the way forward for some of Sega's 16 bit franchises going forward to 32 bit. Arabian Fight could have been a great template for a 32 bit 2D Streets of Rage, instead of them chasing a 3D Streets of Rage (why they didn't use their own Die Hard Arcade/Dynamite Deka game as a Streets of Rage 3D template is also a mystery). I would have loved a SegaSonic the Hedgehog port back in the day (just because it was dangled as this carrot in the game magazines and I never got to play it in the Arcade) but seeing playthroughs today I don't think it would have done justice as a flagship entry in the Sonic lineup for Saturn; it was clearly an arcade quarter muncher with limited replay once you beat it. If it does make a Sega Ages appearance, maybe they could do a combination of analog and or gyro controls on the Switch? Or maybe re-imagine in it the vein of Super Monkey Ball?
Man I really wish Sega pays attention to your channel man...you're most Sega fans spokesperson at this point.
I concur with this statement. Sega really needs to see this video, like yesterday.
Just shared this video on Sega's Twitter. It would be a shame not to.
So true.... So many gems I would love to play.. Somehow its very hard for me to enjoy new more modern games. So yes, there is a market for this products. Gameplay, graphics and music wise this is videogame paradise for me.

I'm not even that big of a racing game guy but Rally on Saturn is somehow a masterpiece.
Sega Rally and Revenge of Death Adder NEED to be top priorities, as should the 3 first Panzer Dragoon games with the remake coming out.
I know this may not be the same topic...but I would love to see a 2d Altered Beast remake.
Similar to the upcoming Panzer.
Love learning about the obscure arcade titles!
There’s never, I repeat, NE-VER too much of OutRunners! A 10hour-straight let’s play when?
One of the bosses in Revenge Of Death Adder has his death scream sampled from the 1990 TMNT movie. It's Raphael screaming, "DAAAAAAAAMN!"
Thank you so much for including Power Drift, my favorite sit-down racing game of all time! Sega should listen to SLX!
I was surprised to hear that it was never converted to Sega consoles, because I remeber that back in the day it came out for everything: Amiga, Commodore 64, Amstrad, Atari ST, Spectrum, MSX, etc...
Yes Golden Ax the Revenge of Death Adder must be ported to the Switch.
As far as Model 2 games are concerned, arcade perfect home versions of Virtua Fighter 2 and House of the Dead should be considered.
There are so many from the Saturn the deserve re-releases as well.
HOTD 1 and 2 are getting remakes after Panzer Dragoon Zwei Remake releases.
I hope someone in charge of this stuff is paying attention here. Definitely some great picks as usual. Thanks for the great content.
Even if they were -- they aren't -- they'd hand the projects to small devs who would do a middling job at best _cough_ Panzer Dragoon Remake. _cough_
You know they're not listening to the fans
@@BlaximilianD00d Because SEGA knows they'll buy anything no matter how many times it's been rerereleased.
Here to support your sister. Prayers to you and your family.💙
Thanks for this Vid and your everlasting SEGA-Fan-Love.
My Wishlist would include:
- Scud Race
- Daytona USA 2
- Thunder Force V💗
and of course...
Truly one of the only video gaming channels that shows stuff people haven’t seen 600 times already. Top tier
hey sega lord x i statred watching ur channel 2 weeks ago.I wrecked my motorcycle and cant move around and cant play games my wrist is shattered and my collar bone is snaped in half i have binge watched ur vids been very helpfull cause im was getting misserable but ur vids made me smile thanks dude. and my pittbull who never left my side i know there are spelling errors typing with bad hand lol and it really hurts just to type lol
get well soon my dude
justin doucette get well. These videos are awesome for sure.
I did the same thing when I had back surgery 3 years ago with Game Sack...they help me so fn much...
I've been laid up with injuries before, myself. Glad to see you are hanging in there and that my channel helps a bit. :)
thanks guys i will check out game sack forgot about those guys. and thanks sega lord i was a big sega kid growing up so thanks dude
Holy crap! All these games you mentioned from Sega look sick. I am wildly impressed and this makes me beg the constant question again and again, how is Sega not back in the gaming industry like they use to be(rhetoric question)jeez? I like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, but I love Sega! Sega #1

And yes I want the game Arabian Fight, Sega Rally and Golden Axe revenge of Death Adder..
And if we go a little further... Daytona USA 2 and a perfect conversion of Virtual On Cyber Troppers.
If I ever won the lottery, my goal would be to bring back Revenge of Death Adder and make a proper Sequel Golden Axe game!
I just want two:
Super Monaco GP but with Mega Drive game modes and tracks added!
F1 Exhaust Note & F1 Super Lap or any of the two with more tracks / championship mode
More than just more titles, I would like to see Sega Ages to be RETAIL! :D

Desert breaker looks like a futuristic “MERCS”.
That Golden Axe is what would have been great for Saturn owners back in the day, and even now.
Never heard of Desert Breaker til now, I would like to see this come back.
It's basically just MERCS, good game though.
Panzer Dragoon Saga! Come on SEGA we NEED this!
reaper602 Hopefully the remake sells good enough
Yes some old school compilation games for modern systems from the arcades that not many have played would be super sweet!
revenge of death adder is hands down the best beat em up I've ever played
The games you showed all looked like excellent canidates for the Sega Ages line. I legit would buy every single one you showed. Your videos get me so pumped for old school games, I have all the newest systems and todays games are amazing, but somthing about the classics just reels me in way more often. They truly don't make em like they used to. Your videos are such quality, keep up the great work.
You keep whining about OutRunners and I'll keep whining about Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder. Seriously...it's like they hate money.
Sega have become very cautious over the years be there are lots of frickin fricks who's phantasies can never be quenched.
How about that revenge of Death Adder cab by 1up
As long as all the Model 2 arcade games get released, I'm happy.
Power Drift, Virtua Fighter & SegaSonic The Hedgehog are great shouts too. Excellent list all round.
Excellent video. I would be thrilled for any one of these games to come out for Sega ages
*sees video in feed* "Oh I know he's gonna mention Adder's Revenge like always."
Took you 13 minutes!
It's all the restraint I could muster. ;)
Ha! Good timing sir... thanx for the shout out on rad rally... i joke of course! hope you are well. I'd love to see Burning Rangers "Now with playable framerate"
I hear you! I was just playing it the other day and that camera is a beast..
My SEGA AGES Wishlist:
Ristar - Yes, it's another Genesis Game, and yes, it's recieved multiple rereleases since, but that's why it's at the BOTTOM of the list, because all that being said, it's a gorgeous and wonderful game well-deserving of the SEGA AGES treatment. Fantastic choices. I've yet to get any Sega Ages (already have a lot in other collections, etc.), but I would definitely pick up Golden Axe RoDA, Sega Sonic, and possibly Virtua Fighter, too.
liking your new Sega intro looks awesome! personally I want Dragon Force 1 and Dragon Force 2 remastered and localized so I can finally play it
SECOND!
The second you see the name "SEGA" you know it's going to be awesome!
Sonic 06 sure is awesome!
Personally I've been wanting to see Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder on a home console.
Slipstream yes yes YES. Played a lot of these games as a kid in the arcade and just enjoyed them as they were, but hearing your insight from a technical perspective is really cool.....it also makes me miss the sega arcade games so much
I'd be beyond happy if they just gave us a re-release of the GunGriffons from Saturn.
Great game!
Well made video chap, keep em coming like this, love the retro style genre, and I'm so happy more and more developers are making games styles like the old school era, and about these games, I couldn't agree more.

An Initial D collection would make my decade !
These are really good picks! A lot of titles I didn’t know about, but now want to play.
That new intro is cold. Love it my dude!
I would like to see guardian heroes be ported over to the switch
Good picks. I would definitely buy segasonic and revenge of Death Adder.
I'd love to see a compilation of all the pre system 1 games (from the vic duo, sega z80, g80, vco object, etc).
Amazing I've never seen that arcade sonic game before, nice that it has the characters from mania plus in it 👍
Oooh I like the new intro
If M2 could get the chance to lavish Daytona USA with the same treatment Virtua Racing received with their masterful Switch port, they would earn Sega a heap of money and make their biggest fans very happy indeed. An arcade perfect port of VF2 was released on Xbox arcade which runs at 60 FPS whereas the original arcade ran at 30fps iirc. I am too lazy to check. So many sega games I would like to see rereleased on other machines ❤️
*Sees new SLX list of suggestions.
*Sees half said list is racers.
*Cue Skarlet's voice: "Clearly you have a 'type'."
Sega and their racing games were a huge part of my youth. They were definitely a powerful influence.
There is no way Sega would be able to secure the license. I only focused on games I felt they had a reasonable chance of doing.
Desperate for sega rally. Best rally game ever. I had it on pc 20+ years ago
Really good video fella. So many arcade ports I'd like see converted to ps4. A list so long I don't know where to start. A brawlers collection. A Super Scaler collection. A racing collection. Just so many. I'd buy them all.
Man! Supreme content as always! Keep up the good work
Great video. Very informative.
I hope Sega to bring all those games mentioned in the video to all platforms!! Im a ps4 user and i would buy it for sure!!
I totally agree with this list
100% with you on Revenge of DEATH=ADDER, but my other picks would be a game I just made a video on: Deep Fear. That is a game that deserves to be seen by a wider audience.
I've never heard of some of these, thanks for all the info.
Even back in the day, I could never get over the graphical log things you drive on in Power Drift.
I wish a compilation of the 3 golden axe arcade perfect , sega rally 1&2 and Daytona 1&2 , Last Bronx the 3 first Virtua Fighter. I wish Sega Ages collection releases also on Xbox and Ps4
Sega, I agree with everything Sega Lord X said here. Please release all of these (and on multiple platforms).
I want to see fighting Viper for Daytona USA with all the extra for the PS3 and Xbox
i really like the new intro!
Great video. Yes to Power Drift, Virtua Fighter and Sega Rally !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd really love to see a Virtua Fighter perfect (plus) arcade port. It's such a shame that there never was one. Even more so since I recently got the Saturn version and now understand better what the negativity was all about (youtube video's somehow didn't quite bring it across to me).

not gonna lie... Arabian Fight looks like a gorgeous game to play. i'd buy it if it came out on the switch.
The Golden Axe game looks fun. I'd like to play it. And I've wanted Sega Rally arcade perfect at home since always.
i really liked the phantasy star sega ages port. i hope they do the rest of the series
Amazing Andy I think they’re bringing over a new Phantasy Star game to Switch and Xbox next year I think
Who exactly are M2
And how many Sega AMs are there
This would be a good topic for SLX to cover in a video. 👍

What is this Sega Ages you're talking about ?
And what console has it's been released so i can get that
I become frustrated thinking about Sega. A gold mine of IPs missed opportunities wasted by management.
Yep would defo love to see power drift and outrunners get released. After burner, super hang on, thunderblade, galaxy force, golden axe and shadow dancer would be cool too
Man that golden as games looks mega awesome
Rad Mobile. That one changed my life in the arcade. Outrun got REAL
Edit: to my little kid self. I'll never forget it. Would pay decent for a home version.

Sega Forever! regards from Georgia!
Being Sega Ages to all consoles, please Sega
Thanks
I heard AC was possibly in the works
Thunder Force AC has been announced for Sega Ages and is coming soon.
@@SegaLordX Great news. Thanks for the reply. Love your channel.
Hey what about arcade shinobi I would love to see that on the switch or any system for that matter
That's actually about to come out.
I enjoyed Eternal Champions, even with its punishing difficulty level.
They seriously need to re-release Shining and Panzer Dragoon games from Saturn.
Superb list.
Great list SLX!! That Golden Axe game looks insane. Sadly I think the only game that has a chance on this list is Virtua Fighter.
