This short song was written and recorded years before "I've Got a Feeling" was released, but never used by the band. So, when McCartney was having problems writing "I've Got a Feeling" he went to Lennon and asked him for a piece of music to use as a Middle 8/Outro- which was this. They then inserted it into McCartney's composition to complete it
this was written and demoed in december 1968 so they must have met up and put the songs together within that same month, since january 1969 is when the twickenham sessions started
Yeah, but it's a different key and all from Julia. Does sound similar but John used it here and there. Just most notably on Julia. And this basically became I've Got A Feeling later on, from what I recall. Just needed extra material. I actually like Yoko's harmonies on this. I don't love everything she's done, but it sounds nice together
This song was written/recorded before I've got a Feeling - but it was never used by the band. So, when Paul McCartney was looking to improve I've got a Feeling, Lennon suggested including it
These are exactly the first two chord shapes of Julia, then he adds G chord shape with an added F chord shape (or A if you will). But yeah, it's basically Julia with a capo on the 4th fret, he even adds that G note bass (B in this key) Lennon has several demos on Julia, playing with capo and no capo on different keys/frets. The official version plays on the second fret. He starts to play Julia at 0:50 but without the last chord

You can sing 4 songs with this rhythm - Ive got a feeling, Julia, Dear Prudence and Look at me
When you play guitar, you often tend to stick to certain patterns for awhile like in phases. So that makes sense! Late Beatles to early solo.
Look at me? All together now?
It's called Travis Picking
