Woooooooooah I like this method I like it a lot. It looks amazing. Plus the negative scale pattern left after pressing onto scaled lures can be put on to smooth bodied lures to give the outline of the scales (if you know what I mean lol). Then fill in the gaps with a different coloured foil! I'll definitely give this a try, so much easier than painting foil lol. Another great idea my friend take care til next time.👍😷👍🏴 BIG BIG THUMBS UP ALL DAY LONG 👍😷👍🏴
That's actually a great idea! That is perfectly possible. Thank you my friend for the compliment and idea! It is indeed much easier this way if you don't have a paintbrush and still the results can be amazing! Thanks again and take care!! 😁
@@lureblanks Oh I'm chuffed that you like the idea, I had a feeling that I'd not explained it clearly enough lol. The more I think of the possibilities of the foil the more and more I like it. I've seen the foil in a colour of burnt steel and burnt copper with a rainbow of metallic colours mingling together that would look brilliant on large lures. I don't need thanking it's the least I can do to show my appreciation to you for your videos I'm learning more and more every time I watch them. You're a STAR take care til next time my friend 👍😷👍🏴
@@PENFOLD1962 There are still so many ideas, techniques and materials that have not been used in lure painting. I think so too that this foil has even more to offer then we can think of right now. Going to keep experimenting with it! Take care my friend and thank you so much for the compliment, that made my day!
Your demonstration of this foil awhile ago got me thinking ..., this was possible with this product. One question.., can this product the glue be thinned down so that you could spray over a stencil? That foil is so different than gold or silver leafing, which has my attention. But anyway great demonstration .
Thank you so much! In theory: The glue is waterbased and could be thinned down with some water. So it definitely should be possible and you clean the airbrush with water afterwards. That is an amazing idea and have to try that some day. The stencil although will be sticky as well because I expect it to dry fast with the air from the airbrush.
No problem, this glue I got from Lureblanks 👍😊 the link is also in the description lureblanks.eu/parts-and-tools/stencils/?6754041=g-name-a-48-1-filter:JTdCJTIyZmlsdGVyJTIyOiU1QiU1RCwlMjJwcmljZSUyMjolN0IlMjJtaW4lMjI6MCwlMjJtYXglMjI6OTk5OTk5OTk5JTdEJTdE
Offers many interesting possibilities !!!
Always look forward to your videos👍👍👍

It is a foil 👍. Mylar is a transparent plastic kind of material used for making stencils and other purposes.
