I'm a Maldivian and the way you introduced and described everything ..it just made me realize how much I actually take everything for granted. Being able to live here, go to the beach anytime I want....it's crazy... sometimes you just forget the beauty surrounding you don't you??.....

We live here and it's almost like normal cuz we see this place everyday but when I think about it again ,,,, it seriously is such a beautiful country. I once again wants to thank god for everything.

I just came across your vlog as I have been watching so many of bloggers’ experiences in Maldive. Like you I have been there 3x n 2x with my son. The recent was just March 1-5, 2022. I really enjoyed your blog especially how you surprised your mom. Such a sweet n loving son. Your mom deserved this as every good mom does. I think very few kids to these. Great video Dan. I had an aunt and uncle who, every year in the 1960s, would drive around Europe for two weeks in the summer. Their holidays seemed so exciting to me as a child. I am now 60 years old and I wish that my aunt and uncle were still alive so that I could take them to places they could only dream about. Travel is one of life’s great pleasures and hopefully we can all get back to it soon.
I think, to be blessed with a son like you is one of the greatest things that God gave your Mom. God bless you, your Mom and your family !
