Hello, Sir! I wish you could do something about naturally curly/wavy hair for women over 60. My natural color is a lovely silvery pepper, but I look like a puffball. I've worn it short, like a pixie, and asymmetrical bob, and now I'm growing it out to shoulder length to try do something else. In my 40's, I wore it just below my shoulders and styled it in a chignon. I can't find a stylist who knows how to handle my hair. I have to say repeatedly "NO thinning! no thinning shears!" Blunt cuts keep the curls together. And, yes, I've mostly cut my own hair for 35 years because of this. Expensive shears and multiple mirrors. I can cut by feel now. Please, any help?

Just get a nice attachment for the clipper and give yourself a 10 all over. Will it be the highest fashion? No. Will it look terrible? Also no. Will you have enough legnth for someone else to come fix it up? YES.
First girl- I mean it's not what she wanted, but it's not hideous.
The hair is still healthy and the purple will wash out over time.
If I was her, I would have waited until it washes out more and then do a shadowroot in her normal haircolor.
Still savable and hairstructure is still pretty :)

I've dyed my Moms Hair yesterday. I did it for years and used a lot of product over the years. Yesterday I did - thanks to you! - much finer sections and didnt had to use as much product :). AND it looked great!

I used to bleach and color my hair all the time years ago in my 20s before youtube was a thing and I never had these results. Like if you actually read the instructions you will be okay. I never lathered in bleach like it was shampoo and even I knew to over saturate the hair so as to not miss any sections.i don't understand this
I have never dyed my own hair (my mum did it once for me years ago when I was a teenager, but that's it), but these videos are definitely scaring me out of trying it 😂

First gal get a darker purple for the roots , and mix it in with the rest. This one isn’t a disaster, I like hair with many different shades of the same color : dark purple with lighter purple mixed smoothly in. All one shade can look flat.

She's lucky she has fine texture, low porosity hair. The bleach didn't damage it too much. She could rock some vivid semi permanent colors leaving it on for a long time to get the most out of it. I have many colors in my hair naturally as I'm going grey and I use that steel color to cool the warm tones in my non grey hair so it goes better with my cool tone silver grey hairs. She's lucky she didn't ruin her hair and have to cut it.

My Grandmother used to cut my hair using a bowl , which was called a bowl cut . Last time she did this was when I was around 10 or 11 . This guy should have went to a professional ! OMG ! 😲😱😲😱

That second one was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
The issue is the Manic Panic Blue Steel (her hair is not light enough for this color) it only toned down some of the brassiness of the roots. If she had chosen a darker blue, it would have actually made a blue color to blend into and fade to purple. The purple was a darker color and that's why it worked. Side note, Manic Panic is a conditioning color so it probably restored some needed moisture to her hair after bleaching. :)
