My tip: if you are playing a ninja deck against an opponent who is playing blue and has 3 mana up, be very careful of mirrorshell crab's channel ability. It can counter ninjutsu leaving you with one less creature on your board
That big ol crab is gonna make a lot of players.... dare I say... crabby!
It is a cool design that the Crab can counter Channel abilities or Ninjutsu in this set! Makes it a lot more relevant.
Showing the combat tricks is an underrated segment of your guide, it is also not touched on much in the community of other magic draft guides. Knowing and recognizing when an opponent is showing their next combat trick is vital to not getting blown out and surprised. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Had a longer break from Mtg and I followed you back then when you had about 700 subscriber. Its insane how fast your Community grew but well deserved. You put so much effort in your videos also its insane how fast you produce your videos. A few of my friends just started playing Magic and i told them that limited is the best was of playing the game ( in my opinion ) but they were scared to start cause they had to pay for it and knew they would lose because they had no experience so i told them about your channel and that they should check out some of your videos to help them to understand the current set and draft better.
Now both of them have reached platinum 4 ( before silver 4) and regular show up at our paper drafts. You also inspiriert myself to start streaming starting with the new set but of course just casually for the fun.

[Experimental Synthesizer] together with [Voltage Surge] is another cute Combo which is actually very easy to assemble in any red deck and quite strong i believe!
You basically get to draw a card for free while also doing 2 more damage :)
I'm so glad you liked it! I agree that Experimental Synthesizer has great synergy with the artifact sacrifice cards available in the set! It makes it way easier to ensure you have the mana left over to cast the card you flip off of it!

The Modern Age is especially great if you play any form of ninjutsu deck because it has avoidance, is therefore easy to use for ninjutsu and you can just cast it again

i think red's removal is good but the creatures are on the weaker side. i feel white can be very effective in this format and i'm eager to draft it and it. Green is my pick for #1 color and Preserver 4 mana common is my top common. The two removals closely behind it and honorable mention to the 3/3 reach defender
Red's creatures look pretty solid to me. Generally unless a creature is miles better than the competition they all generally play out in a similar manner.

I make a separate video where I talk about bomb rares, but because they don't come up a lot I don't like to waste time on them in the guide.

Great video! One thought, the color ranking is not adding much value, wouldn’t it be better to rank the archetypes after you introduced them?
Ranking the archetypes would be basically pointless because it is so difficult to say which is strongest with any degree of accuracy. Also, because draft is self correcting to some degree, the stronger archetypes will get drafted more frequently and be more contested, which often levels the archetype playing field anyway. I agree that the color ranking section is not the most helpful, but I also do have people ask me, "Which color is the best?" so it is fine to include I think.
Missed +1 counters on reconfigure creatures, like if you put a +1/+1 counter on lizard blades would it reconfigure to a creature giving it +1/+1 too?
