Being from the Caribbean we always called them "plaits" growing up, but then I guess I switched over to "braids" at some point :) You achieved beautiful results with your first braid-out/plait-out!! Great balance of definition and fullness.
I use both terms lol. When I’m being more specific I say " plats ". Your first braid out came out very nice!😍 That’s an amazing feeling when things turnouts good on the first try! Have a blessed rest of the week Regina!

Gorgeous! I like braid outs. Sometimes I braid abut 1/4 from the root and then twist to the end. For me less braids are better.
