As an opinion is totally valid your choices, musically you don't know a shit xD. Blue Bird definitely is one of the favourites of people, but think that sign and diver are weak, just search about how many covers, original video views, etc. They have and you will see
YOu have your own opinions, I don't mind that, I respect that. I always interpreted Diver as being one of the most relevant openings because it showcases the Despair that Naruto is going through. The helplessness and hatred that he's both overcome with and the hatred of others that he fails to take on. as well as his despair at not being able to save even one friend. They emphasize his friends, his teammates all pulling him out of the water to help him overcome this adversity. To show him that even throughout all that's happening, they will be around to help pull him back up. The way they finished off Diver was also important. As it showcases Naruto's resiliance. His friends helped him get out of the pit of darkness. And now he's going back IN. This time to be the one to pull Sasuke out of the depths of despair and anger, and save him from the darkness. It shows his bravery to delve back into those dark trenches to save the friend that he's been so desperate to save and redeem. I also need to tack on. "Very forgettable." I think what you mean is... "It's not that one band you've been loving since opening 3 and Silhouette was one you wanted to say is forgettable but you knew comments would destroy that take lol. Here's how I know it's not forgettable. You said one of them had a James bond like vibe and was interesting. In the same sentence you said forgettable. I don't think those two statements go together so that's why I'm kind of saying the whole "Forgetable" Statement seems Dis ingenuine.
Beso, Diver op was more appropriate as an ending imo. As an op its one of the weaker ones. I don't remember the james bond thing you mentioned so that reinforces my comments about being forgettable. It's not surprising honestly most op are forgettable, implying someone's statement as disingenuine when you don't know the person at all seems unfairly judgmental.

I've heard this opening 10-20, maybe 25 times before the song switches up" It's only forgettable because you're listening to it once. It's not judgemental it's more you say most of the OP's are "Forgettable" Which makes it sound very disingeniuous. It also doesn't go into detail as to WHY it's forgettable other than "I didn't like it." Case in point: I don't like "Assault rock" Because it's a very un-Naruto like opening. But it still has an iconic sound to it that's hard to forget because it's vastly different from the other openings. no other opening in Naruto has that super hard rock like tone to it like that opening. Still not my favorite though. That said, not unoriginal or forgettable.
This reaction is good, but it lacks consistency. After watching, I understand that you prefer an opening model that is full of action and has energizing music. That's cool, but sometimes, a relaxed song with soothing visuals can also be enjoyable. Since this is your first watching naruto's opening, there are often misses, sometimes focusing too much on visuals and neglecting the music, or vice versa. As for why you don't like people speaking broken English, it seems rather mean to me.
Thanks for watching. I wanna say I like relaxing op too but now that I think of it. Op are supposed to wake you up, get you excited for the episode. Endings are the more appropriate place to have slow songs. For the broken English part it's actually something I heard people say. I would get requests on watching shows on sub for the exaggerated rage, as well as their Japanese accent English, which people make into memes. Essentially making fun of them
I get this is a reaction and your opinion but damn you're pretty harsh... Naruto is a classic and a TON of work went into all of these. Simply calling the ones that aren't up to your standards "weak" seems a bit too disrespectful. For future reactions I would suggest using different or a variety of terms, as it also gets old hearing you say the same negative things over and over

I think most of the songs have to grow on. First watch, especially with no context on whats going on, it will be hard for you to appreciate the openings the way us Naruto fans do.
@dashingkevs3295 I love Blue Bird, and it was very close to making it on my list. If these songs are 10/10, then Bluebird is 9.99/10. I think the main reason it's not on list is because Bluebird was the opening during a filler arc, and I skipped those episodes in my first watch.
@dashingkevs3295 I feel you. I usually prefer watching anime rather than reading manga. I just look at all the filler episodes online to avoid them (Naruto itself is nearly 50% filler). Also, can I recommend for you to react to Black Clover Openings if you haven't already? They are considered some of the best anime openings of all time. The series itself is kinda like Naruto, but it is still very different. Instead of ninjas, they are mages.
