- In this video I will show you how to save the game with cheats activated. All you have to do is turn on cheats then autosave before doing the mission "Angelo Bronte, A man of honor." After you turned on autosave you need to do the mission normally and after the mission the game should autosave. Load the autosave and go to bed to skip the gang party after you wake up you should have a letter from Mary you need to pick it up or do any stranger mission and you should be able to normally save the game. Also, after you do this glitch you can no longer earn trophies for the playthrough you did this glitch. This glitch can't be done with mission replay. And yes this glitch works on the current patch 1.31.

@@peliwilliams2069 yeah, I think if you activate your cheats before chapter 4 it still works but before you reload the save activate the outfit cheat and the money cheat because those are the only two cheats that don’t get deactivated when you load the auto save

It worked about a month ago in February I have 2 mill all outfits as John should work.

With cheats you can also spawn the black shire horse, the unique one that you get on chapter 2
actually you can’t because you should buy the newspaper number 53 for spawn a war horse and the only way to get that newspaper is with john
Yes you can, just spawn random horses until you get the shire you want.
When I tried using these cheats and saving, I noticed that every random horse that you tried to get, was always female

I shat myself, I watched this video and was so confident doing the glitch I turned it off and just proceeded, I didnt load the autosave and went straight to bed and got so angry when I couldn't save then when I rewatched the video I realised how stupid I was, it ended up working, thanks man

Hello!! Is really strictly during the Ch 4 playthrough? I already turned on the cheats in Ch 2 before I got to read this.. will it still work with the other mission or I really have to wait with cheats turned off until i reach the ch 4 to turn it on and be able to save it for good?

Ok i just did this again with the cheats! I used the cheats for money, all camp upgrades and all clothes :) then i started doing the random horse cheat trying to spawn a brown leopard appaloosa! While spawning horses i spawn a Reverse Dapple Black Thoroughbred which is a special horse only given to people who bought the ultimate edition of the game! So i just got her to the stables and saved her there! Then i finally spawned the appaloosa that i wanted so i just switched saddles from my main horse, completed the mission, reload auto save go to sleep and then save was enabled :) i felt like Hosea! The perfect crime and all :) this was today 13/6/24 on ps5

@@nidalamayri7 in chapter 4 it does! You have to activate the cheats before a specific mission! In chapter 2 i haven't seen a way to do this and then save! If this is your first playthrough though i would suggest avoiding cheats because they simply take the fun out of the game :)

@@nidalamayri7 you can use any cheat! You can find most online but you won't be able to save the game after using the cheats! I learned this the hard way :) only way i found so far is to be in early chapter 4 and use the instructions on this video

I have been playing story mode a few times. On this run I decided to follow the first glitch, Do not do the Aberdeen Pig Farm quest. leaving that trick until after I had used this method to gain money. Then before we switch to John, do the Aberdeen Pig Farm which will save all the money and then return to complete the mission as John and collect Arthur's money, gained from this Glitch.
I'm doing that also on this playthrough. Wish I knew that 5 years ago when I played for the first time

I had to lose all my work on chapter 3 because of the purchase all camp upgrade cheat because I got stuck in a fence with a wagon in a mission and I couldn’t use weapons and I thought it would save anyways since I had auto save on so I left and went to load and wasn’t there so I quit it now
Edit: I actually am trying again in chapter 2 but it’s just so fun failing missions
Can't we play the whole game with cheats on? Basically when you turn off the game your entire progress is just gone? Like the next day I have to start the game from scratch? Is this what activating cheats means?

When I enter cheats it doesn't show up as *. I've watched other videos on cheats and this is the first time I've heard of that. To be fair, I just started messing with cheat codes for this game like yesterday. It updates automatically, so I should be on the same patch (1.31) I think. I started playing this game late, it was like a few months ago. I built my first gaming PC about a year ago when PC hardware was crazy expensive and had to go with a CPU with integrated graphics. So, I coulnd't play anything that required a lot of graphics processing. Now I finally have a system with a CPU & GPU that can handle anything I throw at it. This game, yo! F'n amazing!
when this game first came out i activated a bunch of cheats early in story mode not all of them but the one that unlocked all outfits mainly and when i couldn’t save the game i thought my game was bugged out so everyday for the first 2 weeks i never closed all the way out of the game i would just load right back into it because xbox let’s you load back into games from where u left off if u never closed it out all the way and by the time i got to the last ride mission where arthur dies i was relieved because i’m pretty sure it auto saved after that mission or it just let me save. so i got to keep all the outfits and everything

Do not attempt to do this glitch if you are playing the 1.00 version and want to explore New Austin as Arthur by the Bronte glitch in replay. The mission will not appear in the story progress menu and you cannot disable the cheat since it is always enabled.
Can u get the mission back into the menue cus I did this yesterday and realized it’s gone
@@chris_cmt2025 I don't think you can since cheats are always enabled once you do this glitch and there is no way to get rid of it, so the mission will always be gone from being replayed. Best you just do another playthrough to do the Bronte glitch if you want to explore New Austin without getting instakilled.

@@chris_cmt2025 It is patched in the recent version, but there is another method using the Bronte mission instead of the buggy/carcass one. It's like the old glitch where you get caught by the law and escape them. Then you can go to Blackwater and New Austin without Pinkertons and the invisible sniper in your way, but you are limited to what you can do since you're still playing the mission (you can't collect plants, hunt the legendary animals, Fort Mercer hideout is not active, etc) Like the glitch in this video, you have to do it once you start the mission because in replay, any point of interests or animals that you marked or studied will be lost.
I'm playing in the 1.00 version and to do that, you simply uninstall the game and reinstall it without WiFi. It is only viable if you have a physical disc, so if you're playing it digitally, then it's bad news for you. Make sure to delete saved and reserved data or else you'll have to deal with the intro freezing everytime you start the game. After all that, you are free to do the glitches that have been patched in the game.

Can autosave remain on after? And can you continue your playthrough, or will that deactivate the glitch? (I'm aware that once you play as John everything resets)
You can have autosave on if you want, and you can continue with the playthrough as the glitch is already done.

NOTE: you will not be able to replay this mission if you do this glitch. Even if you do it will somehow it will not count the mission, this will ruin your 100% completion.

just so everyone knows if you want to get trophies do not do this glitch, u will be unable to aquire trophies in that save
Potential workaround for restoring Replay Missions is putting all your Saves on a USB stick before doing this then replacing the earlier ones after doing it. This stuff really should be available earlier in the game as a lot of it is not until Chptt4 and best done once you've completed the Story IMHO.
Do you know if trophies are able to be completed after the glitch?

Guns will return including other items except food.
If you want to keep your money:
Go to the pig farm as Arthur, get robbed, kill the people, return as John, take the money back.
Please watch a tutorial on this, I'm not good at explaining
@@scappley1735do this when arthur is about to die, go to the pig farm get robbed by the couple and dont go back to them, after that arthur dies you get back as john and after few missions you should be able to go play freely go to the abeerden pig farm and enter the abandoned house and then the money is behind a huge photograph and good to go.

You couldn't because side missions will not autosave when cheats are activated. The mission :Angelo Bronte, A Man of Honor" is the only mission that autosaves with cheats activated.

Is there a way to keep the infinite deadeye and ammo cheat? it did this and I only worked with the money and the outfits. If not this is not a saving with cheats glitch, it's a money and outfit glitch.
There isn't a way to keep infinite ammo and deadeye. Majority of the cheats that were activated are deactivated after loading the autosave. Except for things that can be saved like horses, outfits, money, or weapons.

I’ve tried getting a couple achievements in Playthroughs where I’ve done it, and it’s not working for me
