Hola Jason! I would love to see a very complete and useful hybrid rig of the RS2 and the Tilta kit rig that you use for the A7SIII. Meaning when you have your A7SIII full Tilta rig and you want to mount it to the RS2 like what do you have to sacrifice, and what can actually be used with the stabilizer
One of the very few videos breaking down camera builds and its fantastic!. I follow you on social too. Great stuff man! Ill be buying some new things for the podcast!! lol
Don’t get a dummy battery if you have a vertical grip. Gerald did a video regarding overheating and found that vertical grips reduce heating in the camera a lot, much like dummy batteries do. For me, I’ve got the C4EM OEM Sony grip on my A7IV and I’ve never had it overheat. Though I gotta say powering everything off of one battery is very nice.
Great Video! My Sony ZV-E10 is in a Smallrig Cage with a Smallrig Top Handle and a Side handle, on top i attache a Smallrig Powerbank Holder with my 10.000 mah Powerbank :)))))) Keep it up!
Hi Jason! Great video here, a question tho. You say you have an easyrig? I see in the video that you have a placid arm on top, which is this? From flycam/proaim? Or is your entire easyrig from flycam? Im trying to figure out if the flycam placid arm will work with my easyrig minimax
Are you able to mount the a74 with the v mount batteries on the back .. to a gimbal? I have an ronin s .. I’m not sure o could use that rig on it! Which I sucks because I want to avoid over heating
I have a question, can you have a handle grip but at the same time attach the Sony eb1m mic at the same time or even with a monitor too ? Any recommendations Thank you
I’ve been using the Rode Wireless go lately because my shotgun gets in the way if it’s mounted on the right cold shoe and my left hand wooden handle doesn’t cold shoe. I still haven’t found a great solution because I bump the mic when using the top handle and I can’t move my Atomos Shinobi too far with the shotgun (deity V3 Pro) when attached. I wonder if the ride wireless can be used as a shotgun lol
Does that quick relate plate twist and turn? I am having a hard time building a rig that remains in place using a quick release or attaching the cage directly to the rod base plate.
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema what is the button clip screwed to, i also i have the a7siii rig and the tilta full cage with the tilta rig base. but i cant find a screw long enough to go through a plate to connect the quick release so i have to use the camera cage base plate that came with the tilta cage
Hey Jason, how would you capture audio from 2 sources? i.e. 2 lav mics and 1 shotgun mic ? This would be a run-and-gun situation where the environment would be slightly noisy. I tried using 2 lav mics and that seemed to have turned out fine but sometimes I need to capture environment audio as well... and I'm not entirely sure how to do that.
I have a query regarding a7iv body. When I tilt my a7iv for vertical shots.. there is a sound very clear..of some part moving in the body..as if some part is loose..is it a manufacturing defect?? Or does the sensor or any part move/wobble in the camera..is it something to do with the IBS?? Pls explain..
Love this break down. I had such a hard time finding good videos on the larger batteries that could power the monitors and camera. Thank you!
Great video Jason! Thanks for including me in this one!
thanks for joining in ma man! More to come
Wicked breakdown! Always good to see how other people setup their cameras for ideas to optimise my own rigs!
Great video. Not too long at all 🙂 Thank you for nerding this out 👌🏻
I think this video was an ideal length, and not too long.

Excellent video! But what’s the name of the v-mount battery? And where can we buy it from?
Thank you Jason!

Jason! With a single screw on the pgytech plate. How do you prevent the cam from spinning
Please suggest French flag when using variable ND filter. The rotatable filter can't be operated with a matte box, can it?
Full sony.....thank for sharing 👍👍🙏
thanks for watching
No link to the smallrig mattebox ?
I got mine from aliexpress
Yo wondering what the power output is on your d tap? I want to do something similar but don’t want to fry my a7iv.
Plwase make a video on camera rig satup with mike and light for video
Hey, does the Sony a7iv record prores raw with the atomos v?
Súper interesantes gracias por compartir

Thank you
what a rig
thanks for watching
What cable do you use to power the atomos recorder? I have a v plate with DC ports and would prefer that over dtap! Any suggestions?
You didn’t mention how you powered your ninja V
How are you dealing with overheating on the iv?

it can. It is more of a cardioid pattern though so will pick up more of everything rather than directional.

It’s a button clip. Clip it in and release the button clip to free it

Monitor mount link ??
Does the tilta cage fit the A7iii as well ?
Tilta has a seperate cage model for the A7III.
It's okay to power the camera from 5V usb output from vmount battery directly to camera usb-c port ?
😊

with Black Magic Video Assist 12G Monitor you have 2 XLR-inputs

that is the sensor moving. that is normal. Essentially when the camera is off the sensors kind float around a little
Whoa….is this anamorphic?
Что можно увидеть на фоне ? Горе операторы …
I want to help

If you have to constantly zoom and focus do you find the left handle gets in the way at all?
